Worst business ever! Called and set up appt... Only for them to not complete our dogs and bump somebody ahead of us when we coordinated dropoff/ pickup times when made the appt. Charged about 300 dollars for two dog shampoos and we are at home right now trying to cut them since they couldn't fit it in 4 hours our dogs were with them. Just as unprofessional as they can possibly be... They obviously do not care about their longstanding customers (see their other reviews and only 3-Star Rating) and therefore we will never ever go back to them. read more

At other places, I have had some bad experiences at a few groomers in town ... until I found La de paws. They were SO GOOD with my senior pomeranian. I could tell she liked them as well. They were fast, efficient, and my dog always looked amazing. Their price was always the same and reasonable (no extra mystery fees like I had had at other places). I recently had my Pomeranian bathed, brushed out, and groomed. I paid $94. I am very unhappy and I've tried to text the manager and they won't call me back. They shaved my dog down to the skin and never should have. His bum burned for days. He scratched himself from their chemicals so badly he was bleeding and tore out gobs of his coat. He's undercoat was not brushed out at all. I feel the garbage can full of his fur after coming home. This is animal abuse if you ask me. He hurt so badly. read more

Completely shaved my 14 year old Havanese... The groomer took a picture of him with his last cut & what I expected... Instead of scissor cutting tangles out (NO mats) she decided to shave him, not call me & discuss it... I picked up a practically hairless dog! The shock of our lives! The manager agreed to reverse the $80 charge - but they haven't yet- so I will leave reviews & pictures, and let the charge card company deal with it... (I had his face trimmed somewhere else so he is at least symmetrical now- and his nails weren't cut- at LaDePaws- so I'll take him somewhere else- but he's pretty traumatized- so can't do it yet... He will be 15 in January...I hope he lives long enough to grow his ears back read more

Today I took my dachshund, and bernedoodle in for the first time with Ashley Gerbich, and she did an AMAZING job. Very fair with pricing, and she executed exactly what I asked for! I am so completely disappointed with the service now. Our favorite groomer left and I tried a new groomer. (the current management should be more involved in their practices.) Not the complete fault of the new groomer; however, the manager made me so incredibly angry I am writing this review. I knew my dog was full of mats. Her original groomer (of 6 years) left and we had no option but to try a new one, which meant we were a few months past due for her groom. By this time, our dog (a doodle) was so overwhelmed with mats, I could no longer manage them on my own. I warned them about this. They referred us to a new groomer and said she had experience with doodles. I believe she does, however -- this is where our problem began. My rules are NO cutting of eyelashes, ears, or TAIL. No matter what!!!! I was so outraged when my dog was returned. She was shaved to her bare skin and her tail was shaved almost to the end with a PUFF of hair at the tip! OMG my anger rose like none other. What part of DON'T touch her tail did you not understand? As a side note, if I had known the policy the manager spouted to me, I would have wrapped her tail (as I would a horse being trailered) and they couldn't have touched it.) I called the manager. She placated me as if I were a Negligent owner!!! My BP when through the roof. I want to know what right they have to skin your dog vs. asking the owner if they choose that or choose to take them home. ??? I am currently looking up my rights. To back paddle, I am not a negligent owner. I worked for a vet for several years. I have experience in prepping dogs, cats, and other animals for grooming and/or surgery. I assisted in surgery - I cared for all sorts of farm animals and volunteered for shelters - horses, dogs, etc. to groom and care for them. I have multiple animal experiences. I'm pro animal all day long! The manager at La de Paws insulted me beyond my BP - so I had to leave it alone. Damage already done. After I read about their rights vs. ours (as pet owners), I will ask for a consult with the manager to see what can be done. In light of this horrible experience, if my previours groomers don't contact us, I'll look into a professional grooming course and do my dogs and our neighbors dogs on my own. La de Paws owners/manager - you should be proactive at keeping your clients informed and happy. Your business depends on it. read more

My mom picked our dog up a couple of hours ago and she's was to nice to NOT say anything but I can't keep my mouth shut. We always keep our golden doodle with long hair and she was very specific to the groomers. She wanted a bath and a trim nothing more. And she was very precise explaining and giving details. Nala was UNRECOGNIZABLE. THEY COMPLETELY shaved her down. This place is terrible. They did not listen to our request and basically ruined our dog. Don't bring your pets here. read more

Business owner please contact me I have been calling left voices mails no one answers your phone REX the front girl person she charge me $33.19 credit card processing fee for a bill that was supposed to $100.00 for 2 haircuts for my dogs then they added another $20.00 each for each dog saying they had longer hair I was never called about this till went to pick my dogs I added a $10.00 dollars tip the total should have been $150.00. The girl REX at the front desk said their is a $33.19 processing fee charge for a $150.00 the Credit card to be run I will be contacting the Authorities for Credit card fraud charges .Most credit card fees and limited to 1.5 percent to 3.5 percent not 21 percent who's pocketing the extra money. read more

Very unhappy We took our cat, Riley in for a haircut today at LaDePaws. We have used LaDePaws several times before and have been happy with our groomer. Our groomer is no longer available and we had another person do the haircut. I left waiting for the 2 hour shampoo and cut. 30 minutes later I received a call that Riley was done. When we arrived we checked the cut and it was not done as we requested. The groomer said he was aggressive when she tried to give him a bath, so she skipped it. I requested a full cut and she gave him a lion cut with no trim on the legs. The cut was ragged and uneven. Several areas of ragged haircut. She did finish the full cut around his head. But seemed unhappy we wanted her to complete the cut as requested. read more

This used to be a good place but then they implemented policy to keep my credit card on their unprotected computer system or pay cash in advance. The last visit, I believe our groomer passed off our dogs to other groomer. Their cuts were awful and not consistent with the past 2 years. I haven't been back!! read more

Upon speaking to them about this increase their response: " WE DON'T HAVE TO NOTIFY YOU OF PRICE INCREASES" Double the price in a 6 week period you would think it would be a Courtesy to there clients, NOPE!!!! Rude, made an appointmen for future date, then later was called and asked if I would like to change to someone's cancel. I couldn't and was told they wanted my card number for future use and because they would have to charge me for a cancel that same day that wasn't my original appointment. We've been taking our dog for his nail trims for almost a year and half now. Always rude employees there, but despite that factor I kept taking my dog there. Our recent trip they hardly clipped him. Yes I know there's a certain point you can't cut to but they didn't even come close to that. My dog came home with nails so long and curled still. Apparently they were super slam that day which is fine but don't take a job if you don't have time to do it right the first time. My husband was to scared to say something. Beware large breed owners! This salon does not want to groom your dog. We've been having our dog groomed here for over 5 years and have been very satisfied. We have given them a considerable amount of positive word-of-mouth over the years. As I used to tell my advertising clients, word of mouth works both ways. Not long ago, La De' Paws had a price increase. Our cost went up about $15. No problem. Prices need to go up some these days. However, we just picked up our dog and the price went up an additional $50!! We were never notified of this huge increase until we came to get him. I expressed my shock. The cashier said that they had contemplated not grooming large dogs at all, but decided to charge according to the size of the dog instead. So, we are looking for a new groomer. Take your teacup whatever there, if you don't mind getting blindsided with price increases down the road. But, as for me and my pooch, we will be doing business someplace where the dog is the only one getting clipped! read more

It's a darling place and I love the location because I live right by it. The groomer did a great job, but I wasn't pleased with the price and the receptionist. They said my dog would be done in 2-3 hours, and I had plans 4 hours after I took him in, so I figured we would be fine. However, it took them more than 4 hours which interrupted my plans. I would give the civility and helpfulness NO stars, were that possible. We were passing through town and asked could they take us. "No!" was the response. When I inquired were there any other groomers in town, the girl said yes, but she did not have their contact information. What a pity that the woman who had this business last year was not there. My less than one year old bichon was groomed by Steven 3 times and he was awesome. Due to his full schedule I booked w a different groomer. She was decent the first time but not like Steven. I again took my expensive young dog back to them to try getting into Steven but due to scheduling I went with a girl. My dog came home with bleeding eyes. For days his face had dried BLOOD. His face was shaved so raw and up close that he was bleeding. I called and spoke to the manager and she blamed it on sensitive tear ducts. This was absolutely due to the groomer cutting his fur on his face and scraping his face raw. She said stuff like, " maybe the dog is scratching it and making it bleed." What?! The conversation was a challenge to keep my cool because I received zero apology, zero responsibility on their part and they didn't care that I was unsatisfied and that they lost me as a client. I took my dog to the vet and he confirmed the bleeding was from cuts on the face and not from bleeding tear ducts. My dog recovered but hasn't been groomed since then. There was zero attempt to sooth my concern and allegation that my dog was returned with a problem. Very disappointing. I wish Stephen groomed somewhere else- away from the manager who has zero customer service skills. And actually all the girls who schedule st the front desk have a put off attitude. I took my girls (2 labs) to La de Paws for the first time today. The vibe walking in was so good they didn't hesitate or get nervous. When I came to pick them up they were just happy little campers and not in a hurry to get out the door. That was just the bonus. They are so soft, smell wonderful and look amazing!!! We absolutely LOVE La de Paws! Our bubbly Golden Mix Abbey Gayle Marie actually loves going there! Ash has groomed her for the last 2+ years (usually 3 times a year, don't wait for summer only), that's just irresponsible... So grateful also for the loving care and eyes, as on a visit last summer they noticed a lump which fortunately wasn't a "bad" lump, just an impacted oil gland which we were able to treat before it ruptured and could have been much worse! We always plan weeks in advance as they are booked well ahead...but it's worth the wait. They are loving and caring and we are so happy to have found them! read more
