Yesterday I adopted my new cat, Princess Pancake, from St. George PAWS. Pancake fits in perfectly with my existing cats and PAWS prepared me well for her homecoming. Additionally, I was provided a bag of food and a complimentary vet visit to ensure her health. PAWS is truly an amazing rescue that saves animals from euthanasia and other unthinkable situations. I wouldn't hesitate to adopt from them again. Thank you, PAWS!

The best shelter ever. Everyone there is a volunteer and they volunteer their time to these animals in need. All supplies are also needing to be donated. I got my puppy from here and I couldn't be more grateful for these people. He had to get his eye removed and neutered and paws covered that while I was fostering him. They do home inspections to make sure all the animals go to a good home so that they aren't bounced around. My puppy found his forever home, he was saved thanks to paws. These guys are amazing. Me and Eli (my puppy) thank them

So let's start with the positives! This place is cute, clean and has tons of healthy options for…read moreyour pet. It also happened to be the only place in town that carried my dogs prior pet food (small batch pets). I started coming here weekly about two years ago. Initially I really loved the customer service here. Some younger girls were working and not only did my pet love them- but I did as well. They were warm, helpful and outgoing. Then something shifted - I walked in one day and the owner Kate was discussing prior employee with another customer. Bad mouthing them and discussing how the had moved to work for her "competition". Maybe I'm just too "community over competition" oriented but this experience put a horrible taste in the mouth. Everytime I've seen Kate the owner after she's just very off putting, she's condescending and rude. Not a friendly woman in any form. There are other local pet stores in stgeorge that you could patronize that undoubtedly treat their employees, past employees and customers with more kindness. Also, the owner is VERY money oriented. It doesn't really matter how much you've been there-there used to be free samples which they now charge for.

She took the time to help find the right size as well as treats for both of my Shar peis. I was so impressed by her knowledge of rescue dogs. My two are still learning to be socialized. We went back to get our other shar pei fitted for booties. This is a great place for high quality pet food, treats and products!

She acts like we are idiots, and she is so superior when is comes to pet knowledge. If you are going to be a business owner, learn some customer service skills. We had finally makes a decision on what we were going to purchase, and we're planning on going back today. After the experience we had, we will never go to her store again. We will make sure everyone we know will not go there as well. My kids were not running around like crazy. They are not those kind of kids. My son ( who is a fairly calm 9 year old ) was playing with the rabbit- who seemed to enjoy the attention. You could have simply told my son it could scare the birds- instead of sharply saying " I'm going to have you stop. It gets enough exercise during the day". I would stop my kids from being crazy- if that was actually the case. The other time- you started to set a bird on my daughter shoulder- without warning and she flinched out of reaction. You told her she isn't ready for a bird. You completely broke her heart. As you have seen, my daughter has been very interested in a bird and has tried asking you a lot of questions. Honestly very disappointed in your people skills. Also, you do not try to educate. You talk to them like they are beneath you. From an online source: "Some people don't realise just how much exercise rabbits need. They should not be kept in their hutch all day long without any form of exercise. A lack of exercise can lead to serious health problems such as obesity, poor bone and muscle density and urinary infections." www.timeforpaws.co.uk ' owning-y...
