We always enjoy coming to La Delizia for a bite to eat. Whether lunch or dinner, we always have a good experience here. It's a nice local establishment and the food is consistently good. They have a number of great subs and pizzas. They even have a pizza and chicken wing combination if you can't decide which way to go. Service is friendly and you can order to go if you can't dine in. They've updated their decor making it brighter and more inviting. It's pretty casual and laid back. They are working to start delivery service if they can get drivers. Don't expect customer service. Ordered 3 meals (2 adult and 1 kids meal). My husband picked up the order. They never gave us the kids meal. So I call and ask them to refund the kids meal. They request I drive back and I told them that's not an option because I live 20 minutes away and I'm not driving 40 minutes to get a kids meal when it's past dinner time. They refused to give me a refund because the food is ready and sitting here. I'm like right and I was there to get my food and you didn't give me my whole order! Meanwhile the poor women was arguing with the person in charge while I could hear the whole convo! They said it's not our fault he's training. Never eaten here before and most definitely don't plan on returning since I made a reasonable request and it was greeted with an unreasonable response. read more

Discovered this place on a leisurely drive across the Maryland countryside. Fantastic pizza with fresh toppings, good sauce and some of the best crust I've had. We also got an order of baked ravioli that was as good as I've ever had. The marinara sauce was the best. The service was great and we had a nice conversation with our waitress. Called to place a carry out order for the "Monday Special" and was told "specials are over at 3:00 pm" so I had to tell them it's an all day special? Anyway ordered that and a Delizia salad, I had both last Monday and they were both delicious. Not so this week. I really believe that they warmed up their pizza for slices, that didn't sell and gave it to me, it was borderline burnt and wasn't even hot and a little dried out. I guess they needed a hot and fresh one for they're evening walk ins? Oh and I was told last week that the specials stop a 3:00 too. Won't get the Monday pizza special anymore but will continue to get the salad until they screw that up. They're not reasonable for most menu items, must think they're in Ocean City. read more

We have eaten there before many years ago, and thought we would try it again. I ordered the shrimp and scallops over penne pasta.... well what a treat and a delightful explosion of different taste from salty to sweet. I ordered a "specialty" Buffalo chicken pizza. The chicken was rubbery like it's been boiled hours before and then chopped into big chunks and tossed onto the pizza. The "Franks" Buffalo sauce used was super heavy and none of the toppings or cheese stayed on. The dough was the only decent thing about it. Oh and they burned the cannoli. read more

Being a local in Greensboro this is our "go to" spot. The food is delicious and staff is friendly. It's great to see a local business thriving. The owner is very nice and helpful. Not long ago I ordered food for my family and had my baby in a car seat when I went to pick it up. The owner personally grabbed all the food and put it inside my vehicle so I could carry the baby. Was charged $48 and some change for 2 lg. cheese stakes and cheese fries. Was told they charge for every topping on a cheese steak that isn't the cheese or the steak. So if you get a sub or cheese steak don't assume the mayo, lettuce, fried onions, or hots come with it. Not that's all extra charge here. That said that cheese fries were cold and soggy after a short five minute drive up the road to home. Cheese Steaks them selves where okay, even though the topping where put in the opposite subs therms were supposed to be on. but none of this tasted like a $48 meal. Was our first time there and won't be returning. Have be hearing bad things from other locals when I relay this story to others. Have to give it two stars since the food was eatable. read more

This is my family's go to restaurant. Excellent menu with a vast amount of choices. Quick service. Awesome friendly staff. The food is the best from pizza to subs to seafood all have been great. Daily specials are offered also. So awesome we do carry out at least once at week! read more

I'm a pizza snob- being from North Jersey, 5 minutes from NYC. The pie had enough dough in the crust, but was slightly underdone, I like mine a bit crunchy. They are very friendly, and the order was ready when I picked it up. Sauce is not too sweet. Overall, a great little place that is near my house. I will return over another place in Felton that has changed to thin crust and skimped on cheese in an attempt to cut costs I guess. Mozzarella sticks are not breaded, they are the battered Arby's kind. I enjoyed this place and will be back to try more! read more

We have been ordering from their Ridgely location and have had issues almost everytime. orders were wrong, took 1hr for delivery 5 miles away.
