Staff was friendly but disorganized. When I called in order I gave it to a woman who then just stopped talking. Hello? Hello? Then a man got on and I had to give the whole family's order again. Just frustrating, and made no sense. Food was good, and nicely prepared. Tastes were all as expected, and then some. I got a hot ham & cheese. For $12.95 I'd hope for something a bit fuller. It was a very lightweight "sub" sandwich. But taste was definitely above average and it hit the spot. I was elated to see they have crinkle fries instead of disgusting batter-dipped! They came completely unsalted, though, which required a trip back to the restaurant to get some salt. My son's chicken finger platter was higher quality fingers, with more crinkle fries. My husband's cheeseburger sub was very good and had a decent amount of burger meat. Cheese was in bottom, so my photo doesn't look like a cheeseburger sub but it was. All in all solid 4 stars. A buddy and me where driving through Delaware and we're curious if we could find a great pizza place in this rural state. As is often the case I pulled up my Yelp and looked for a place. 20 miles ahead, in a small town named Queenstown, I found what looked to be the perfect place. Let's break it down: Atmosphere 3 Stars: this is not the place where you would go for a romantic dinner. It's very plain with only a few tables. It's clear the owners really don't value eat in. I imagine they do a killer take out business. When walking in my first reaction was that we made a mistake. This quickly evaporated when the man behind the counter greeted us with a very heavy Italian accept. Service 4 Stars: not much to say or expect. You simply stand at the corner and order. What made the difference was our curiosity in the man behind the counter. My friend and I probed him with questions on where, when and how. He was very gracious in his responses and strengthened our confidence that a man who was born and raised in Naples would make a killer pizza. Food 5 Stars: Boom. Pizza was the real deal. Thin crust and fresh ingredients made it with the stop. Lots of flavor and huge pie. Just suffice it to say that it was outstanding Value 5 Stars: in this inflationary time it is refreshing to get great value. Who would ever guess that Naples would come to this very small community in rural Delaware. Ordered a cheesesteak and Italian sub. The cheesesteak would've been really good but it lacked so much meat. If it weren't for the mushrooms on it, it would've been underwhelming. The roll was good, not sure where it came from. The Italian sub was also very light on meat and had a fermented smell to it. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Made a stop here on the way from Ocean City to DC, and I was really glad we did! We ordered a pizza cheesesteak and a meat lovers Stromboli and both were very well made. I was craving for both pizza and a cheesesteak, so this really satisfied me. The pizza cheesesteak also came with the beef and mushroom pieces underneath the pizza topping, as shown in the photo. The Stromboli was extremely large so it was a good bang for the buck, and was extremely filling. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because we found a hair in the Stromboli sauce and a hair in my cheesesteak, so we took both out and was fine with it. All in all, would make a stop here again whenever passing by. read more

Being an ex-Philly guy; growing up in the Philly burbs and going to school in downtown City-of-Brotherly-Love; you'd assume that'd kinda make me an authority on things like pretzels, Eagles and of course CHEESESTEAKS! I dialed up closest restaurants on my trusty mobile Yelp and out poured the Queenstown Pizzeria! Easy as pizza-pie to find on a quaint little street right next to the post office the inside was immaculate and far more 'nice' then i've ever experienced for this type of establishment. I was all in and went for the regular deluxe cheesesteak; had a seat with a fountain drink and awaited for my gastronomic indulgences to be fulfilled! Out came this mound of cheesy beefy bliss piled Everest high on a PERFECT roll...you KNOW that a bad roll will KILL a cheesesteak! Mayo and ketchup played off the punch and crunch of pickles and hot peppers all layered into blankets of gooey melted provolone (Forgive me wiz-wit!) It was just perfect...I lost all sense of time. The fact that the two guys in there (owners?) were watching soccer in Italian on the tube just topped the whole experience off! When in Queenstown, after you really got yourself all starved and you have a few dollars left in your wallet after the Nike, Columbia and Under Armour outlets had a lot...take yourself a few miles down 301 to this Hoagie-Heaven...prolly don't get any better in this part of Maryland! I love pizza, almost more than I love my husband, and Queenstown Pizzeria does pizza right! Everyone takes their pizza differently - so let's not get into the whole "does pineapple belong on pizza?" debate because I'll argue it does until I'm blue in the face. But my preference for pizza is a non-sweet sauce, crispy texture, and not full of grease. QP hits all the big ones for me. The dough isn't too thin, but it isn't all bread. It's not soggy and it doesn't flop when you pick it up. The sauce isn't sweet and it's not sauce-heavy. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect. I'm new to the area and it seems like this place is one of my only 2 or 3 options so I'm OVER THE MOON to know it is so awesome. They cook the pizzas fast and they are super friendly! I can't wait to try everything on the menu - there are tons of options! Apparently, they offer catering too! They don't offer delivery; and their menu has a Monday Pizza Special, but they are closed Sundays and Mondays. This could be due to COVID though. Anyhow, absolutely no complaints. My girlfriend and I were shopping at the Queenstown Outlets and there is not too many places to eat. I searched for places to eat on Yelp and found Queenstown Pizza was rated #1. It's only a few minute drive from the outlets. I got a medium cheese steak (12 inches) and it was huge! Over flowing with delicious meat. They also have a large cheese steak which is 18 inches. My girlfriend got slices of pizza and they were really good as well. We also got an order of mozzarella cheese fries which were pretty good and 2 fountain sodas which were a generous size. It is very reasonable, for all the food we got it came to about $22. The staff was very friendly and I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite! read more

We got ham & cheese subs on our visit and they were very good. The closest thing to the Queen Anne's County Classic Ethel's Subs (Ethel's Subs was a sub shop in Church Hill, MD that is now out of business) that you are going to find today. The bread seemed to be homemade and a large is big enough for 3-4 people to eat. You really get your money's worth here. We saw some people get the cheese steak subs and they looked very good as well. The only thing I did not like is that you had to pay for soft drink refills. read more
