I speak very little spanish but my go-to dish is usually the chicharrones y arroz con frijoles. Basically pork rinds and rice with beans. Although the meat is usually dry and pretty salty, the juice that comes from the meat is ever so savoring and the complimentary limet that comes with it is the cherry on top. The yellow rice that I usually get with the meat is also tasty as well. It has a nice light bitter taste with it, which is accompanied by a mix of capers. It literally is a nice touch for the meal. Best part about this place? The portions are godly. Literally just 8 bucks of the aforementioned dish can put your azz in a food coma. The location is a bit strange though, as I said before the decor isnt really the most appealing of all places knowing to the fact that it is in the middle of the projects and the ever growing capitalist buildings of UMass Lowell.
