    Churros and horchata ice cream

This place was great, the atmosphere was super cute and they had live music. The service was good. The Drink menu is super fun all the drinks I had were delicious. For starters I had the corn dip and the guacamole with chips which were great. The best thing on the menu in my opinion were the birria tacos. I also tried the steak pastoreado and mahi tacos which were good as well. For dessert I had their flan which was good but my favorite was the horchata ice cream with churros. I also tried one of their shots and espresso martini which were good.

I loved our dining experience at La Diosa! The ambience, food and service were all incredible. We came for dinner and were seated right away. We decided to order the Fiesta Mexicana to share. It brings guac and chips, esquites and 8 tacos. It was all very delicious! For dessert we ordered the Tierra Santa choco flan cake, it was so good! I can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend dining here!

Had dinner at La Diosa in Miami Lakes and it was solid. I started with a bucket of beer and some cocktails and they were all a hit. I ordered the queso fundido and it came with warm tortillas. The cheese with the chorizo was honestly mouth watering. For my entrees I got the steak burrito, super filling, and the steak chilaquiles which is basically steak over fried tortillas. That one could easily be an appetizer but it was still really good. If you're looking for Mexican music or mariachis this isn't the place, but if you want a Mexican American Tex Mex vibe with good food, it works. There's plenty of parking and the staff is nice and extremely attentive.

So sad the location is no longer a Beverly Hills restaurant but it was a tasty alternative. The service was friendly and layout the same as it was before. Decor is trendy with a Mexican inspired colors and decorations. The flautas were delicious and the plate size quality and price were good. They have the real sugar cane Coca Cola and juaritoa. The churros were a nice size for two but more than two order another per set.

We decided to take a break from the office and grab lunch somewhere close, and La Diosa in Miami Lakes (formerly Beverly Hills Café) was the consensus pick--Mexican food seemed to be the vibe for everyone. While La Diosa isn't my absolute favorite Mexican spot, it consistently hits the spot, and this visit was no exception. We all went with the lunch special, which is a solid deal: it includes a soup or salad, an entrée (choice of quesadilla, burrito, or Mexican bowl), and a non-alcoholic drink. I opted for the salad to start--simple, fresh, and a good light beginning. For the entrée, I chose the Ropa Vieja quesadilla, and I have to say, it was a pleasant surprise--tender, flavorful, and nicely grilled. One of my colleagues ordered the burrito and couldn't stop raving about it--she also got the tortilla soup, which she said was fantastic and full of rich, comforting flavor. To drink, we tried the Jamaica (hibiscus tea)--sweet, house-made, and really refreshing. Would I go back? Yes. Still not my top pick for Mexican, but it definitely holds its own--especially for a good lunch

When you walk in, you're immediately hit with a pretty chill atmosphere. Lots of pink and greenery. Nice for photos. The women who greeted us was very nice and she steers us to the seating that we would be most comfortable in. She thought one area would be a little hot for us. When we sat down, our waitress came over pretty quickly. She was so nice!!! She gave us recommendations for drinks and helped us pick foods. For the drink, she recommended the sexy samba ... it is suppose to have jalapeño. I was nervous about the spice so she actually got it for me without. Which I was really happy and liked that she accommodated me. The drink was really good. My date got the el guayabero and it was very guava-y. The presentation was also cute with a little piece of guava and some cream cheese on a stick. For appetizer we got the tuna tostado. It was good- flavors all meshed well. Lots of tuna on top too. Only complaint is that it was smaller than we expected. For the main meal I got the compechano tacos with some sides. The tacos were packed with meet!! I was honestly stuffed. I got the refried beans and was expecting it to be pinto means but instead were black beans. They were really good though. Tbh the tacos were so filling that I had my sides to go. We got a couple other drinks before we left! Overall the vibes were nice. Our waitress was fantastic!

My coworkers and I love going to La Diosa for lunch. The staff is always quick and attentive, answer all our questions and give the best recommendations. The decor is beautiful and a wonderful place to celebrate birthdays, friends, or a cute dinner with your spouse. My favorite items are the chicken flautas and the mojo shrimp tacos. So much flavor & the lychee martinis are amazing.

Went here for a gym even we had and the service was exceptional. The place is very nice. The music is just great! You will be dancing all night like my husband and I did. lol. The food was delicious. Had their guacamole and chips and the Mar Rojo and we loved them both! Super yummy and fresh. And great flavors altogether. Truly recommend this place. I loved that there was also a young man going around taking pics and then you were able to purchase them in a cute frame! We took both of them home!

The food is very tasty, and the service was excellent. We went for a Sunday afternoon. Amazing illumination and a great smell of the place. Also, the music was very nice as it was some good bachata, and if you are into Latin music, chill vibes, and even want to take out your family to some good food, this is the place for you.

I wanted to try this spot not too far from my house for some authentic mexican food, which unfortunately, I didn't find here. The chips were over-fried, tasted mostly like oil. They were thick, which is preferable when it comes to tortilla chips but they were served in a tiny bowl with two tiny sides of salsa. The darker salsa was good but I've had it at many mexican restaurants so I'm assuming it's ordered in bulk from a distributor. No fresh salsa here, luckily it was complimentary though it's listed as $5.50 on the menu. I ordered a "Wednesday special" drink "Entre Dos Amores" which came with a perfume bottle sized drink with a smoke presentation. The presentation of the drink was nice but I didn't enjoy the smoke taste or the size of the drink given it had about 3 sips in it. We ordered the steak fajitas expecting a normally seasoned steak but this was drenched it what tasted like A1 sauce - not what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. The fajitas came with the same tiny cups of sour cream, guacamole, cotija cheese, and pico de gallo. They didn't come with rice, we had to pay extra for that - they don't offer your typical orange Mexican rice either, just white or green cilantro rice which will run you $6 again in a tiny bowl. Most of the rice was fully cooked, though I did crunch down on some of the pieces. We weren't given utensils till after the food had arrived and I had to ask. After finishing the meal, we didn't see our waiter and proceeded to wait about 15 minutes before asking someone else to retrieve our check. After paying we noticed an automatic 18% service charge that wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu, nor by our server. Given that the service was hardly worthy of 15% let alone 18%, it was a shock. Most restaurants only charge that for parties of 6 or more. Safe to say, I won't be returning given the lack of service and authentic food.

This place is aesthetically cute. Definitely a place to come and take pictures. We were a large group, but we were sat fast and our waitress really did a great job of handling such a large group. I was impressed how she kept track of everyone's orders. I started off with the Trip to Heaven cocktail and it was delicious. It's a mezcal based cocktail with jalapeno, so its that perfect combo of smoky and spicy. Very tasty. Would recommend going for happy hour! For appetizer I got the chips and guac. It was tasty but I'm not sure if it was worth the $13... For entree I got the asada steak tacos. They were not good. Two words: Bland and Chewy. They had absolutely no flavor and the meat was very tough to eat. They need to rename themselves La Diosa and I will give them one more star. There is no excuse for a place that calls themselves a taqueria to have mediocre tacos. I got a side of refried beans and it was more like refried bean soup. I needed a spoon to be able to eat it. The flavor was good though. My hubby had the burrito birria and I took a bite of it. Now that was much more flavorful. So I would say just steer clear of the tacos. The burrito birria is the way to go. It's a cute place, but definitely should work on the food quality.

We came here to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday and had such a great experience. We absolutely loved the tuna tartare--it was fresh and full of flavor. We also ordered the crispy shrimp tacos, which were amazing. They were coated with quinoa, perfectly crispy, and incredibly delicious. The service was excellent and attentive, and the food was outstanding from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

I have lived in this area for Many moons & if you're from Miami Lakes you know this spot is nostalgic from the last restaurant but I have to say hands down Lo Diosa Taqueria is a 10/10. When you walk in it has a feeling of being in a beautiful mystical garden. We were a party of 8 on a Saturday early evening, we sat quickly because it was 6:30 but literally 30 minutes later the place started to get backed. MAKE RESERVATIONS to ensure you are sat. Many parties/festivities happening. The food hands down was Delicious, everything from drinks, appetizers and main course. It was worth the visit and I will be sure to visit again.

Once you step inside, you're transported back to the Prohibition era with a moody atmosphere, intimate setting, and all the character you'd hope to find in a true speakeasy experience. The cocktails are unquestionably the star of the show. Thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail, each drink feels like part of the experience rather than just something to sip on. Add in a live DJ, great music, and an energetic crowd, and the result is a place with incredible vibes from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a nightcap, or a spot to impress friends from out of town, 9 Feet Under delivers. Joe, at the door, was very welcoming. My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. But please don't portray an event that has created so many positive memories for so many people as something negative, because that's simply not the experience the rest of us have had. Now you've lost customers!!

I was especially excited because during Christmas time it was decorated as a Grinch-themed bar, which was super cute and festive. The drinks were very pretty and well-presented, but flavor-wise they just didn't really do it for me. The music also kind of threw me off -- it was much more vulgar than I expected, which I know fits a younger Miami vibe, but it felt like a bit much for my taste and didn't match the holiday theme I was excited for. The bartender seemed a little uninterested, and I wasn't a fan of the cocktails being pre-made, which took away from the experience for me. One of them is 1910 Restaurant & Bar, a Spanish-inspired restaurant that blends premium steaks, seafood, and a little theatrical flair without losing sight of flavor. The meal opened with an order of Cheese Balls, crisp golden spheres that reminded me of pão de queijo, except they skipped most of the bread and focused almost entirely on the cheese. The exterior shattered pleasantly, giving way to a molten, creamy center. Paired with a pineapple sauce, each bite balanced sweet and salty in exactly the right proportions. My wife ordered the Australian Wagyu Flap Sirloin, a 12-ounce cut grilled over charcoal and served with house-made chimichurri. It was everything you hope Wagyu will be, deeply beefy, wonderfully tender, and rich without becoming overwhelming. The chimichurri added brightness without stealing the spotlight. Then came the dish that first caught my attention. The La Reina de la Casa, or "Queen of the House." At first glance, it almost feels designed for social media, a cheese pizza crowned with an enormous grilled octopus. I would be lying if I said that presentation didn't influence my order. Fortunately, this wasn't style over substance. The pizza itself stood on its own with a crisp crust and generous layer of bubbling cheese. The octopus, however, was the reason to order it. It was expertly grilled, tender without a hint of chewiness, and seasoned with a spice blend the server politely described as the chef's secret. Whatever was in that seasoning deserved to remain a secret, because it transformed an already well-cooked octopus into something memorable. Dessert brought things back to the classics with a crème brûlée. The sugar crust cracked cleanly beneath the spoon, revealing a silky vanilla custard underneath. Simple, elegant, and exactly the ending the meal needed. 1910 could have leaned heavily on flashy presentations and premium ingredients. Instead, it paired both with thoughtful execution. That's a far more difficult trick to pull off. Some restaurants earn attention because they're photogenic. The best ones earn repeat visits because the food is every bit as impressive as the photos.

She simply approached the table and immediately asked what type of water we wanted, which set an impersonal tone for the evening. The food arrived only room temperature. The grouper dish was overwhelmed by tomatoes and Parmesan cheese, making up what felt like half the plate. It was soggy, underseasoned, and lacked any standout flavors. The steak and risotto dish was similarly disappointing. The rice was slightly undercooked, and while the steak itself was cooked properly, it was bland and lackluster. Nothing we ordered felt exceptional or justified the cost. The biggest issue came when we discovered a long piece of hair in our side of fried plantains. To the restaurant's credit, they apologized and provided a complimentary dessert, which was appreciated and is the reason this review receives one star instead of none. Overall, the service was uninspired, the food was underwhelming, and the quality did not match the prices. We won't be returning.
