I enjoy the food at Pisco y Nazca. I had a delicious lunch here this week. I ordered a margarita to start. The drink was made well and it had good balance of flavors. I ordered the lunch special. This is a great deal at just $21.50 for two courses. For another $5, you can add dessert. I would have but none appealed to me. I ordered the abocado toast which was filling on it's own. The dish was tasty overall. The avocado was fresh. The cheese did not add any flavor to the dish. For my main dish, I ordered the burger with fries. The presentation was really appealing. The burger is different because it had plantains on it. I enjoyed it a lot. The fries were hot and fresh. You can see the chefs cooking and they looked happy, like they enjoy their work. I deducted a star for service. We had two servers. One was very pleasant but we had to ask several times for drink refills and the corn starter they give everyone. They left four tables around us with dirty dishes and glasses. For such an appealing restaurant, this was very unappealing. read more

Mother's Day ! So my family decided to make reservations here, and what a total disappointment. Let's start by the fact that they sat us in a table for 4 people and we where 6 adults no children. The service was slow understandable because Of the holiday. My husband and I ordered the pescado macho, was awful they just put 2 shrimp 3 mussels and some Octopus, then they put a piece of fried fish that was cut in half on top barely no sauce and the rice was hard. The ceviche was ok we have had better there. They kept trying to fill us up with the corn, that personally gave me a stomach ache. Not a good experience. read more

This place is located in Downtown doral with a various parking garages attached. The parking is paid but complimentary if you dine here. The service was okay, if youre going on a Friday or Saturday, be prepared to wait. The pros were that the food was flavorful, the portions were incredibly large, and the prices were fair. The decoration is pretty and I appreciated the accordion door being opened midday to let in the cool breeze from the outside. The cons: We waited super long for service. Once we were done eating, we waited around 30 minutes for our check. We sat by the bar and the bartender was also our waiter. He was so swamped at the bar that he barely paid attention to his other tables. I ordered from their fixed menu and the chicken and waffles were alright, except the chicken was undercooked! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because it was so HOT in there. I really have no idea why they have to keep the doors open when it's 85 degrees outside. Aside from that, the service was fantastic and the food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the unlimited brunch drinks and the were pretty good - I recommend the passion fruit mimosa. We were able to make reservations for a Saturday afternoon and were immediately seated when we arrived. For starters we did the Yuca a la huancaina and causa crocante - both were DELICIOUS. For our main course we got the lomo saltado, salmon, grilled steak, and chaufa. The lomo saltado was a very flavorful however it was disappointing that the meat ratio was pretty different between both plates (one plate had much more steak compared to the other). The grilled steak and salmon were delicious and cooked perfectly. For dessert we got the suspiro, coffee with dulce de leche, and alfajores. The alfajores were super fresh as was the suspiro!! The ceviche had some fried calamari on top which by the way it looked you can tell it was old, not to mention the way it tasted like old oil(I did not eat it thanks god) the problem was the crab meat. I loved it so much and you really get a bang for your buck!! it got pretty busy on a weekend so service was a little slow, but the food made up for it. The flavors are amazing. We came today for el 28 de Julio (Peruvian Independence Day) to celebrate with some pisco sours and Peruvian food. The service was pretty good. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything. The food was ok. I ordered anticuchos de corazón, which is cow heart marinated in ají panca. The taste of the meat was ok, as far as marinade goes, it tasted like it was just slathered on top. Definitely was not marinated for x amount of time. Also, the anticuchos would've tasted a little bit better if they were actually hot. It was room temperature, so I am assuming that it was sitting there for a bit. To drink I ordered a classic pisco sour which was great! The vibe was pretty chill, music was playing and there was mood lighting on. This was our second time at a Pisco y Nazca, the first time we were brought by friends, and it was so good that the moment our flight landed in Miami it was the first place we wanted to go to. And since they have a pet-friendly patio it was a great option for us. We started with drinks, my husband ordered the Pisco Sour which he absolutely loved and I ordered a lychee and pisco drink which I don't remember what it was called but was super refreshing and delicious. For appetizers we got a beef anticucho which was expertly grilled and came with delicious Peruvian corn, tuna tartare causas which are these fluffy clouds of whipped potato with tuna tartare at the top and a delicious sauce you can use to add a little extra oomph to the tartare, and our favorite appetizer which was the Japanese ceviche. You definitely have to get a ceviche when you go to a Peruvian place and this one was everything you could ever want in a ceviche; the fish is so fresh and amazing and the sauce is licking the bowl worth. For our mains, my husband had the lomo saltado which he devoured completely and he said he could eat every day of the week; I ordered the tallarines verdes which come with steak on top and also was extremely satisfied. We came here for the Peru Independence Day specials which had $8 pisco sours all day! I had the passion fruit one and it was my favorite. My husband got the resaca burger and it was packed with flavor! salty, sweet, and super tasty. I ordered the ceviche sampler, which came with three types: the classic which had lime and cilantro, the creamy one with shrimp and calamari, and the callejero with a tangy yellow sauce and mixed seafood. The food, service, and ambience is always great every year we come into town visiting Doral. We have been coming here for the past 5 years with a group of 20 people. The one star deduction is for how this year they don't honor the happy hour discount because we had large party. We spent about $2K dollars and they were worried about giving a few dollar discount on a couple drinks that fell in that category. This business can do a little better and take the high road. It felt a little shady and left a bad taste for next time we are in the area. Definitely will be looking at other options next time we are in Doral area. Went to celebrate Peru's Independence Day with some Peruvian food from here! Just like their Kendall counterpart, this restaurant did pretty well in terms of service and food. Had a few Pisco Sours I never tried and found some faves! The Chicha Sour was refreshing and has a nice sweet earthy taste to it. The Passion Sour was very tart but it had the perfect passion fruit kick, if you like the taste of passion fruit! If you haven't tried the Causa Crocante, I encourage you to try that dish. If you like potato, spice, and crunchy shrimp, you'll love it! The Lomo Saltado was delicious, though at the Kendall location they mixed the fries with the sauce, where here they just put the fries on top but the taste of it was identical. For dessert I had Torrija Limea, it's kind of like a French toast with a hard sugar coating (like what goes on a creme brulee) and vanilla ice cream. It isn't too heavy after all the wonderful courses and hits just right! For the restaurant being as small as it is, it was moderately noisy, not too bad! You could still hear the music and others at the table. The waitress here was at our table often refilling waters, so if you needed something, there plenty of times to ask for necessities. We have been to Pisco y Nazca many times through the years and always had a good experience but our last two visits have been negative. The first one 2 weeks ago we overlooked as we felt the manager handled it appropriately. The problem on that visit was that my husband found a hair in the ceviche. We mentioned it to our server. The manager came over, apologized, and she removed the dish from our bill and gave us dessert on the house. We thought ok first time we have an issue. You should never find a hair in a restaurant like this but it happens and they made us feel that they tried to make it right. Today we came back to celebrate my birthday. We got the ceviche sampler again and one of the ceviches tasted bad. My daughter smelled it first and she thought it was funky. I smelled it and it had a spoiled smell. I thought at first it could be the plantain chip that was stale but then I tasted it and it definitely was the ceviche. Not sure if it was the sauce which has dairy in it or if it was the actual fish but it just tasted spoiled. We told the lady who picks up the dishes as we could not find our server and she called the manager. I told her it smelled and tasted spoiled. Told her to just smell it. She didn't but said no worries I'll remove it from the table and bring you another. She returned a few minutes later with a bigger dish and said she removed it from our bill. The rest of the dinner was ok. No apologies though or did she come back to say anything. I would of thought she would return to say the kitchen removed it. So who knows if it was served to someone else as those ceviches are made in batches. The rest of the meal was ok but when the check came Oh surprise! They charged us for the dish they changed although she said it was removed from the bill. She never said they would charge a new dish and it's not about the money. We were paying a 200+ bill anyway, $20 wasn't going to make a huge difference but it was the principle, we didn't ask for it to be removed. The manager said it was. They served a spoiled dish, did not apologize, said it was removed and charged it anyway. We expected more. This is a restaurant we held to high standards and it disappointed us, so needless to say this was our last visit! We will be looking for a new Peruvian restaurant! read more

Their three plate lunch menu consists of app, lunch '& dessert had me full and super happy. Amazing portions. Service- I believe gratuity is auto included and service was fine, nothing stand out but also not bad so nothing negative either. Highly recommend: Pork Tostones, Flan for dessert. Burger the plantain's were served on it which was different for me since I thought they'd be on side BUT still good. Would definitely go again. Came here with friends on a weekday night and we all ended up each getting Miami spice dinner. Love that their Miami spice actually comes with a drink--we were told that the passion sour is popular and I can see why. The passion favor is there, not too sweet, and it was fun to have different textures with the foam on top. Honestly it was my favorite item from my whole miami spice meal. 5/5 Got the anticucho de pollo as my appetizer: it was - decent size, the chicken was moist and seasoned. 4/5 Although they warn you that the pescado a lo macho is spicy, it's not bad at all--less spicy than sriracha. The crispy fish was lightly crispy on the outside and really tender/soft inside. Loved the variety of seafood and how it also came with rice and fresh yuca fries. 5/5 I've never had anything like the suspiro--the meringue was soft, the passion fruit glaze brought a bit of tartness to balance the sweetness, and it looked very aesthetically pleasing. Personally, I preferred my friend's creme brûlée in terms of taste. 4/5 The service was attentive--kept on refilling our waters and checking in on us. You have to pay for parking via street parking or the nearby garages. No reservation needed for our party of 3 on a weekday night, and it was a nice modern environment for friends to catch up. The experience was okay. I ordered the TALLARÍN SALTADO, (wok-seared chicken and linguine, soy and oyster sauce, red onions and tomato. It's basically an expensive Chicken Chow Mein that I can get at any Chinese restaurant. We had a large party and the restaurant didn't have the staff to fully accommodate the entire restaurant on a Wednesday night. We needed at least 2 servers for our party. The service was a little sloppy, like pouring water into our water glasses and it splashing into our food and on the table. I've been there many times before and everything was great.
