I absolutely love the ambiance of the salon. It's is clean, and the stylist chairs are apart away from each stylist and I don't feel claustrophobic or crammed. The welcoming smile and attitude that Matilda gives you is also another reason I follow her this far. . She makes me feel comfortable when I sit in that chair . I walked into La Dolce Vita Salon, this salon is cozy not gigantic and Matilda was so great. I was carrying around a picture of a haircut which I showed her and she asked if I could wait a short time (yes I can ). Then after a very short time she had me ready to go. I was so nervous but Matilda is a wonder. Precise and technical and also warm and funny. She helped my haircut by making suggestions with explanations as to why she would do anything so I could make the best choices for my hair. Matilda is beautiful and my haircut is beautiful. My stylist Traci recently moved from a salon in downtown Manhattan beach to La Dolce Vita Salon on PCH. Since she has been cutting my hair for over a year now, naturally I followed her to her new Salon. This salon has a parking lot in the back, which is great! The salon I was going to previously had no parking so you had to drive around for awhile looking, then make sure you had enough time on the meter for your hair appointment. The entrance to the parking area is on oak street so just go around the block and you will find it no problem! La Dolce Vita Salon is very small, just 4 stations and nothing fancy but it it has everything you need. The location is very convenient for me and the parking is a huge plus! Let me start by saying that it was definitely worth my 45 minute drive , Matilda is one of the best hair stylist I've ever met , I've been trying to be platinum blonde for a while but since I have such dark hair no one was able to conquer the right color until I met Matilda , she did a awesome color correction on my hair without any damaging, not only is she awesome at what she does but also is a great person , makes you feel very welcoming & does the best to fulfill your wishes.
