To me they were a little on the bland side not what I was expecting. A little too hard for my taste I didn't finish them. However the mac n cheese and antelope burger were both amazing! I would def go back for both of them! I know there are more items on the menu but these two are really good! If you are in the area I def recommend stopping by, their service is good and the food is great.

Even though it said cheeseburger special, bacon cheese special would have been more correct. Burger came with lots of cheese. American, fontina and blue cheese crumbles. It had thick cut crispy bacon. Spicy Mayo and grilled onions. The burger was amazing!! On par with the quality of the Antler Burger. It was seasoned perfectly. The patty was juicy, crispy on the edges and well seasoned. The cheese was melty and oozed out of the burger creating your own cheese fries. The fries by the way were significantly improved over the bland ones I had previously. This time they were seasoned with a few spices and given and extra coating to make them super crispy. Much better. Again, I can't reiterate how good the burgers at Sendero are. The other items on the menu sound so good and I would love to try them but when a burger is this good. You get the burger.

This time, it was the first option that was recommended, which certainly got my attention. When I walked in, it was obvious that there is a renewal happening here - the restautant itself is getting quite a nice makeover, but while I love a nice ambiance, you can't eat the atmosphere. That said, I love the fact that even though there is lots of great energy in such a lovely space, I could still hear the people across the table. The true test of course is the food. I'd rather have a great meal in a dive bar than so-so food in an elegant room. The good news is that I did not have to choose. I don't know what the food was like before, but clearly what is happening on the plate has been elevated well above "okay, but nothing special". As usual when I travel, I dined with a group. While I very much enjoy the company of others, I also like being able to try taste more dishes, especially when I go somewhere for the first time. That allowed me to swoon over the hamachi crudo, crab cake (a favorite in general), lobster tail (very creative), the bacon mac & cheese, the king salmon, and the carrot cake (another favoriote). I don't love red meat, but my friends were just as effusive about the steaks. There's a real vibe to this place - a pride in the food, the place, and the experience. Go (or go back)!

The cocktails were excellent, and what started as "just one round" quickly turned into sharing a delicious appetizer of chicharrón de rib eye, beautifully plated and full of flavor. We couldn't leave without trying the warm, golden cornbread dessert, and it did not disappoint: soft, sweet, and absolutely addictive. The ambience is elegant yet relaxed, making it easy to linger, and the service was top-notch--attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. What was meant to be a quick stop turned into one of the highlights of our evening.

We decided to walk there on a Thursday night and saw that it was karaoke night. My fave! It looked like it once was a big warehouse because there was so much space. The outdoor patio was huge with lots of benches and inside also was huge with plenty of seating. They offered arcade games and pool tables which was fun. We got a couple margaritas and it was only $10! I put my name in for a couple songs and we sat and listened to others sing for a little while. The karaoke host was nice and he lets everyone sing 2 songs back to back which is unheard of for me lol but the crowd was very nice and responsive. We had a nice low key time. The chicken wing/taco combo is solid! Everything was very affordable and I think they have some type of music playing each night.

We have been here several time to listen to the live music from local performers. The food menu is typical of what you would find at an bar n grill. We have had a bacon wrapped hot dog and fries, chicken wings, and baked potato. Everything was good. We started ordering bottled beer the last few times we came since their draft beers seemed a little too hot for our liking. The service staff is young and very friendly. They seated us immediately. The best part about it! Is that the building itself is a part of the town's history. Come check it out, and learn some of Alamo's history.

As an annual parishioners, I've eaten here before and I love it! Earlier today, I had lunch at Azure. It consisted of their oh-so delicious ahi tuna salad. The greens and tuna practically occupied the whole plate, which was accompanied by a separate bowl of salad dressing and a pack of crackers. I enjoyed the salad so much that I nearly forgot about the crackers. There's no doubt if I ever drop by again around noon or after, I'll order it again. I want to mention that I had breakfast here before, too. I highly recommend the barbacoa, which tastes like it was grilled the way vaqueros (cowboys) in South Texas do theirs. You'll be fed generously of the meat, I promise you.

The mom and pop shop is definitely a place to visit. We had the breakfast platter which came with two pancakes. We customized the pancakes by adding berries and man were they delectable. The bad: we saw previous yelp pics of the carrot cake and totally forgot to try. The ugly: have not tried for lunch but based on the menu I will be returning for sure. Support local
