My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our five-year anniversary, and it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. We even called ahead and made reservations, expecting that our special occasion would be treated with at least a basic level of care and professionalism. When we arrived, not only were we not greeted, but the staff seemed to go out of their way to ignore us. Several employees looked directly at us without acknowledging our presence. We immediately felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, despite having a reservation, we were not seated at the table we had reserved. There was no explanation, no apology, and no effort to accommodate us. It felt as though our reservation meant absolutely nothing. The service only continued to deteriorate from there. At one point, my husband politely asked the bartender what she would recommend. Instead of offering any assistance or engaging in basic customer service, she completely ignored him. We were shocked by how dismissive and rude the staff were throughout the evening. What should have been a happy celebration turned into an upsetting and embarrassing experience. The atmosphere was cold, unwelcoming, and uncomfortable from start to finish. We came to celebrate a milestone in our marriage and left feeling ignored, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially after making a reservation and choosing a restaurant for such an important occasion. We will never return, and I would strongly caution others against spending their time or money here if they expect even the most basic level of hospitality, courtesy, or customer service. -10 out of 10! read more

My wife and I have eaten here twice now. The food was amazing. On our first visit I had the roasted duck with the white wine/orange marmalade sauce and tri color potatoes. The potatoes were ok. Good but nothing to write home about. The duck was just incredible. Perfectly cooked and served beautifully. My wife had the 6 oz filet with mashed potatoes. Again the potatoes were good but nothing special. Her steak on the other hand disappeared faster than any other steak I have seen her eat. She said it was the best steak she has ever had. On our second visit I had the Chilean sea bass with a red curry sauce. It was served with a wild rice, cranberry toasted almond pilaf. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the sauce was not overpowering and quite tasty. I could have eaten more pilaf it was very good. My wife had the filet again but with a baked potato this time. Her meal disappeared just like the last time. The service is impeccable. The staff is attentive but you never feel pushed or crowded. On our last visit our waiter (Rueben) brought our drinks and asked if we wanted to just relax for a few minutes before ordering. We thought this was very thoughtful. The restaurant itself is very comfortable. We have been dressed sort of nice when we have dined here but there customers in shorts and also in suit and tie. I came here with my boyfriend without a reservation. The hostess was friendly and seated us indoors. The outside patio was romantic but I didn't prefer the ambiance as it lacked lighting and ambiance, personally. The interior was dark, cool, and romantic. However, unlike other fine dining restaurants I've been to, I'm not sure if it was due to the party of 10+ being present but the noise level was loud so we couldn't hear the music. We didn't mind it because we just talked amongst ourselves. There were big parties to our left and right. The crowd was more mature, perhaps due to the price of the establishment; we were the youngest guests in the house. The waiter was friendly as well and had excellent wine pairing recommendations. We had the crab meat tower and Caprese salad for each of us as appetizers and we're so glad we only ordered one tower for both of us. The crab meat tower was rather large and was large enough to fill us as one whole meal. It was so delicious; such a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The wonton crisps were perfect to go with it. I'd go back just to get that next time. The salad was delicious also; had the perfect balance of dressing as well. It was large and I couldn't finish it all. We ordered the Tomahawk Ribeye as our main and I've never been so full before an entrée before. I still ate a little bit of the meat (and grilled potatoes and tomatoes, it came with them) because we couldn't bring the whole thing home and it tasted amazing. The chef cut our meat for us and it was an interesting experience. I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat them all but I was too full and my boyfriend had to eat most of it. He said that the meat was one of the best he's ever had and that the price was very fair compared to other Tomahawk steaks he's had. It was a bang for your buck. Everything about this restaurant is great. I'll go back if I'm craving fine dining in the Valley again. read more

Oz filet snd lobster tail....ok flavors...both cooked super underdone....and I love sushi and steaks rare, but these were limp. I asked for bernaise sauce on the side for my filet....came out cold...although the technique and flavors were poppin! I struggled between coming here (1st time) and Santa Fe's (whom I have had ribeye steaks and lobster tails many times). I'm glad I chose this way though...at least I know.
