The road to get here is quite bumpy. I thought I was lost at one point but I followed other vehicles that were going to the area. There will be many construction sites and 18-wheelers. The wait for the food was about 20 minutes, and ordering was quite smooth. I placed my order and waited in the car to pay. When they are done with your order, the chef brings it out, and you pay her. I believe that they are cashless since I did not see a cash option to pay. The food was definitely worth the wait. The only thing I would not order again would be the birria ramen. Though it was very flavorful, I thought it wasn't worth it as much as the other items I ordered. The el pastor tacos were amazing, and the el pastor fries and flauntas were great to share with my friend. The fry-to-protein ratio balanced each other. The tacos were a great size and very flavorful. The chef included plenty of limes. I will definitely be coming back when I am in the area.

My son's and I went to this amazing little Mexican restaurant last night that offers basic Mexican street food. To begin with the service was outstanding and fast. They took our order quickly and got the food out to us fast and hot. They brought out some chips and salsa. The salsa was a mild sauce but you can have different heats. We had beef tacos , chicken tacos and the pork tacos with this little onion sauce on the side, all was delicious and relaxing with a no rush atmosphere. So if you're coming to the Orlando area near universal studios it's a great place to get a reasonably priced dinner.

This spot is the literal definition of "if you know you know!" First of all the food was 5/5, deliciously amazing! Second of all this taco truck is legit in the middle of nowhere, but bare with me, it's legit worth the drive. It's tucked allll the way behind a semi truck parking territory/junkyard/it's giving Texas chainsaw massacre vibes. On the final stretch right before arriving to the taco truck parking lot we passed a trailer that looked like it was straight out of the Hills Have Eyes movie There's no seating or tables or anything, it's just a grab and go or grab and eat in or on your car. Which is what we did, we just put all the food on my trunk and went to town devouring everything. We ordered the Birria tacos (duhhh), Esquites, mini Flautas, and Chips + Queso. My goodness, everything was really good, fresh, and hot off the grill. The chips were mad crunchy and just right with every bite. The tacos were juicy as can be and melted in your mouth. The mini flautas hit all the spots in my tummy. Definitely enjoyed this meal and for sure recommend you check them out.

La Eskinna is one of my favorite food trucks in Orlando! Tucked away in an industrial park, it's a hidden food treasure. They have an array of options on their menu, even have vegetarian-friendly options! Everything I have tried from their menu has been great. I recommend the 3 taco combo with esquites. This time I ordered the regular chicken taco, chicken birria taco, beef birria taco, and the esquites. My favorite was the chicken birria taco! Service was wonderful, the people running the truck were very kind! The service was quick, and the tacos were freshly made with high-quality ingredients!

The Eloite had great topping but it lacked flavor throughout the corn. It was really watery from the corn. The corn had no season and there was not enough chipotle sauce. If it had more sauce, some seasoning it probably would have been better than it was. Just a suggestion! The tacos were pretty good though so no complaints there!

We really wanted to like La Eskinna because Fernanda is so nice. The street tacos are OK, but are really small and at $4 each (even when you buy 5) are very expensive. The Quesadilla was big but not that flavorful and at $14 seems we should have been at fine dining. Not a good value for OK tacos and quesadilla.

I have to admit I've never had birria tacos before coming here. But I've been hearing all about them so I looked for a taco place that sells them and found La Eskinna. As other people have mentioned this location is a food truck in an indiscriminate parking lot. You pass by some random junkyards on your way here. If I hadn't known in advance I definitely would've doubted I was going the right way. Nevertheless I found the place easily enough. I parked in one of the designated spots and a staff member quickly came up to take our order. The staff member was very nice. The food took some time to be prepared but it was definitely worth the wait! We ordered the birria tacos of course as well as the birria fries. Both tasted great! They have a variety of things on their menu and I would love to try their birria ramen on my next visit. If you're a taco lover La Eskinna is definitely a must try!

It's rare that I leave a review while I'm still eating, but omg this place was worth the 45 min drive! Heading here, you'll think that you're lost or that there is no way the best taco spot in Orlando is located in the cuts, but trust me, keep driving. Be mindful of the speed bumps, ignore every feeling inside of you telling you to turn around, and drive with your windows rolled up cause it's dusty as hell. You've arrived, but you're probably wondering "where did I arrive at?". Just back your car in, and someone will quickly come to your window to take your order if you're familiar, or walk you through their offerings. The food is inexpensive, and they have a daily happy hour (I got the Birria ramen and two tacos, chicken and Birria, for $12), and they have a variety of drinks. It's cashless, and they bring the reader right to your car. You can even order ahead and just let them know what your vehicle looks like, and someone will bring the food to you. Most folks just grab their food and go, but I witnessed some folks eating while leaning against their cars. It's delicious, authentic, super flavorful, and I'm glad that I made the trip!

Believe it or not, I've lived in Orlando for 7 years now and I have never went out of my way to order from a food truck. I primarily venture into that territory when I'm at Lake Eola for Sunday Farmers market or at another infamous Central Florida festival. This place was brought to my attention by a special person in my day-to-day. I can not describe how mouth watering this food is. I've never had Birria tacos, so why not make this the first and only place that I ever need to know about. As a fan of Cup Noodles, I could not resist ordering a Birria Ramen. The photos do not do it justice. In fact, I almost did not order it because I was quick to assume that there was not enough beef on top in proportion to the Ramen (judgement brought to you by photos). I was wrong. I will go back simply for the Ramen. This food truck is outstanding, the service is wonderful (they came to my parked car as I was looking at the menu and took my order then they brought it out the me) and the drive makes you feel like a true Orlandoian. It's a dive that is worth getting lost for.

Service was great, food was tasty and the menu has great options. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because the location is a little sketchy lol it's in an area where there's lots of warehouses and semi trucks to get there and when you follow the signs, it says to stay in your car but that part I actually liked because I felt it was super convenient. You pull into a parking spot, scan the menu and someone comes to your window to take the order. I wouldn't want to come here after dark but definitely will be back to try the Birria ramen and flautas, those looked bomb. We tried the chicken tacos and the Birria tacos and both were delicious, well seasoned.

Happy Taco Tuesday! I travel for work and my favorite thing to do when I travel is look for some authentic street tacos and birria. La Eskinna did not disappoint at all what so ever. The amount of meat you get per taco is just wowing. The customer service was great. And the food taste just amazing as it looks. I'm really big on packaging and the way they packaged my tacos and consumé was so neat. I genuinely appreciate them for that. 11/10 highly recommend!!!!!

I heard of La Eskinna through word of mouth. The first time I drove there I was unsure about the location but once I tried their birrias it is undoubtedly one of the best tacos I have ever had. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell they love their business and customers. Today I tried the flautas and I will definitely reorder them. It was fried perfectly but not heavy or overbearing with cheese. I love the street corn, add takis if you like a lil spice. Their regular tacos are all very good - great flavor. The ramen birria is definitely amusing but didn't steal the show. I am a happy regular of La Eskinna - they are a hidden treasure!

This was one of my most memorable ever dining experiences. After first getting a bit lost while looking for the spot we quickly found the place where the food truck was. The service we received was outstanding and the girl who took take care of us was super attentive and friendly. She was great at giving us recommendations on what to try and I gotta say every single damn thing was a huge success. I went with a couple of friends and we had several different tacos, I mean we basically tried them all and each one was delicious and super authentic. I would recommend anyone visit La Eskinna without thinking it twice because you will surely love the experience, the food, and the service. This will definitely be my first stop next time im in Orlando P.S my advice to the owners would be to change the sign that leads you to the food truck area for a bigger NEON sign so it is more easily visible at night read more

You must stay in your car, it's hard to see because the sign is a little washed out. It's hard to find and a lot of speed bumps so be careful:). The lady will come to your car and get your order she is very sweet very little tacos though.. for 3 dollars for 1$.. birria ramen is really good!! Wow. Okay, where to begin. Oh, probably with the fantastic server/food runner/gal extraordinaire who just killed it while we were there. But i digress. We heard about this place through an article in Orlando weekly, and after trekking 45 minutes and then through junk yards and shopping container lots and lord knows what else, we found the little parking lot with the food truck in front. There's pretty limited parking and, if you're anything like my family, we struggled to get our four-car caravan situated. Luckily and gracefully, the gal (whose name escapes me now, of course) who served us had us all bunch in the corner and looked the other way as we tailgated and enjoyed our food right then and there. I think the expectation is that you park and get your food and go or eat in your car and go. In any case, said gal came up to our cars to take our order. Being the large group that we are, we ordered just about everything on the menu (except they were out of chilaquiles, Jamaica, and cajeta sauce for the churros) so I'll mention those worth mentioning. Guacamole. Just do it. I am very picky when it comes to guacamole and this one was amazing. Get it as an app or on the side, whatever. Just do it. Loaded fries. I ordered these because of the other reviews on here and they were right. These were delicious. We ordered with the carne asada per the server's recommendation. IT WAS HUGE. We shared it with everyone and still had leftover. Someone else mentioned that it didn't have a lot of sauce and I agree - it would be nice to have something to dip it in (I'm thinking voodoo sauce from jimmy hulas). Carne asada tacos - aside from getting this on the fries I also ordered this on tacos. Delicious. The steak was so tasty and the taco had SO MUCH meat on it. Extra points for corn tortillas. I also got chorizo tacos and they were good as well - but the steak was better. All the tacos are a la carte so it's nice to try different ones! My brother got birria tacos which were very yummy and had lots of meat! The sauce was tasty and they were the perfect size. He also got a chicken taco and even though I'm not a huge chicken fan, these were great. The esquites were okay, most of the mixings were at the top so when you get to the bottom there's not a lot going on. But it was a big serving! The churros were okay. I really wish I could've tried the cajeta sauce because I'm not a fan of Nutella and without the sauce the churros were kind of bland. Guess I'll cross my fingers they have it next time! read more

Ok. If anyone ever told me that my BEST meal in Orlando would happen sitting in my car, in a car junk yard. Yeah, I would have been skeptical. But it happened. This restaurant had the best Birria tacos, Birria ramen and Asada tacos!!!! Everything was so good! We sat right the parking lot and ate while we were there! So don't judge a book by its cover and get the BEST tacos around! read more

WOWZA, absolutely amazing!!!!!! My bf and I are in town for vacation and we decided we wanted birria tacos for dinner. As soon as we had our first bite, we both just closed our eyes & said "mmmmm" in sync. Couldn't have asked for a better meal - The churro cheesecake was amazing too! 4 stars for a truly unique dining experience! The birria tacos at La Eskinna are hearty and filling, and sooooo delicious! I really enjoyed the consommé that came with the tacos and the tacos themselves were tasty. The location of the truck itself is really hidden and you have to drive by some junkyards to get to it. They are definitely not getting any foot traffic so the whole experience seems that much more special. I would love to try their chicharrón tacos next! read more

Delicious for what it is! We ordered, Birria tacos, steak tacos, steak quesadilla and estique corn. Everything was delicious! I'd highly recommend to call ahead, we waited for about 40 minutes for our food, wasn't expecting that from a food truck. Most people called ahead and didn't seem to wait as long. Getting to the truck is a bit tricky, you'll think you've gone the wrong way but it's there and well worth it. I would definitely return, but will call ahead read more

do not come to this place if you value your money, for $4 a taco you get a tiny taco that is gone in 2 bites, the portions of everything is extremely small for the price, the bowl of consome is 4 tea spoons of consome, if you want birria and not get scammed out of your money with these tiny portions i recommend Antojitos Locos. read more

Visit universal and wanted a quick snack and saw this little gem in a Industrial park sitting wayyy in the back if y'all planning to stop and check it out please follow the sign when you get in the park. Oh and we order online ahead so when the person come up it will be ready. Pick up and go. Love it will visit more. read more

Food is good but make sure you check your bag before you go, they have forgotten my food multiple times and I have to keep reminding them my order. Service is not the best, if it wasn't for the quality of the food I would not come back. The owner or the manager needs to make sure their employees are actually doing their job right. read more

1000% recommend! You definitely have to stop by if you're in the Orlando area. We tried this place on our vacation and it's suffices to say I will have to stop by here every time we come to visit. We had originally gone there for their birria taco and it was amazing! The mystery steak tacos were the best taco I've ever had hands down. We also loved their steak and shrimp tacos. Do yourself a favor and take the ride to the back of an industrial parking lot to find yourself some good tacos! read more

Just finished my meal and couldn't get to my phone fast enough to leave a review. Our food was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Tip for all new comers: Call in your order beforehand because the line to order can be quite long. We waited 30 mins for our food but it was well worth it. read more

She then came to our table, did not even introduced herself and offered us a dessert while we were still eating dinner for what happened. She barely spoke and seemed clueless to what was happening and yet, still no explanation! We get boxes for our food and I pay the bill, I gave the server a really good tip because it was not her fault and we left full of food and disappointment. Note to Owner: Communication goes a long way, educate your staff and make sure they treat everyone with the same respect by being hospitable and bilingual. If I was given a reason, this review would have been amazing! Service : Terrible service, not friendly or inviting, there is a language barrier, and management has no idea about customer service which is my guess why the place was empty! Food: Amazing as always and it is a shame because I really love(d) this place and gladly spent $200+ every time I dine here. Ambiance: Clean, trendy, and inviting. Sorry Agave Azul, you used to be my favorite spot to dine but that honor will now go to Agave Bandidos.

I believe they have several locations in the area, and this is a newer one with very welcoming and modern interiors. They have wonderful daily specials and various happy hour periods that extend from 2 to 10 PM, including $3 tacos from 8 until 10 PM. Meals start off with complimentary chips and salsa (4.5/5), which are happily refilled upon request. We tried a variety of tacos (5/5) which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The vegetarian San Jose's fajita bowl (4.5/5) was tasty and served in a generous portion that is ideal for sharing. The cheese quesadilla (5/5) hit all the fresh flavor notes without the cheese being too sharp in taste. The churros (5/5) were the perfect dessert, having a slightly crunchy exterior and softer core as you bit into it. We loved the food and atmosphere so much that we visited twice the same week while visiting the Orlando area. Service (4.5/5) was excellent on our first visit, and slightly slower on our 2nd visit, but still incredibly friendly with management checking in on customers to make people were enjoying their meals. Overall, I'd rate the food and experience a 4.5/5, but happy to round up since San Jose's is right up my alley for an ideal Mexican meal that is delicious and doesn't gouge you with prices like other restaurants tend to do. I'll gladly return on future trips to the Orlando area and will be recommending them to others, as San Jose's would crack my rotation of a Mexican restaurants I'd regularly visit if I lived locally.

The prices are fair but if you have been out to ice cream shops and recently bought ice cream, prices have increased significantly in the past year. My serving seemed to be about the going rate. You pay ahead of time and they do prompt you to tip. There was only one guy working and he spent at least 5 minutes preparing my order. After watching him make my order I wondering if I should have left a bigger tip. Warning: The parking lot for this restaurant is shared with Arcade Time Entertainment plus other businesses and depending on the time of day it can be challenging to find a space.

My review is based solely on the food. I ordered 3 birria tacos, guac and chips, and the birria ramen. I was left not amused by the birria tacos, very small compared to the photos. Very mushy as well. As for the guac, it was decent and the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. The birria ramen shouldn't even be on the menu, let alone $8. Extremely salty. The Location makes this Place virtually impossible to stumble upon, and at night it feels fairly unsafe. The address on Google lead me to the wrong junkyard. Tons of speed bumps and pot holes. I wouldn't be opposed to trying this place again because I feel like there has to be some reason for the hype. I just can't justify spending $30 again for the food quality that I received. read more
