Great food and awesome lunch specials. I had a INKIND offer which brought me here and we loved it. Parking in the back is the best way and seating can be limited if they are busy. Customer service was great and food was flavored and a nice authentic taste.

This has to be the best tacos in Orlando my favorite is the fish taco. It is perfectly breaded with the pickled onion and let's not forget about their fresh tortillas. I love grabbing food here first then going to next-door to the bars. The service is always great. They play great music. The inside is kind of small so only one big party could be accommodated, but it is perfect for any parties of four or less.

Where did 10 years go? Back to update my review with another five stars! Some things have changed but the things that remain the same--the fish taco slaps, the chips and guac are undefeated, and Black Rooster will always be a gem in the Mills 50 area!

Ordered the guacamole, nachos, crispy fish taco, and shrimp taco. Perfect meal for two. Server was very attentive and friendly. One of the cooks even came out to ask if we needed more chips so he could drop some more in the fryer. Love the decorations and ambiance here!

I've been coming here for years and it's consistently delicious. The tacos are on homemade corn tortillas, quite a few of them are gluten free. I always get the achiote pork, which is so tender and complimented nicely with picked onion, fresh cilantro and habenero salsa for a little zip. The chips are cross contaminated so I bring my own for the freshly made guac and gluten eating husband gets all the chips it comes with. We've been here a lot and will continue to come back. I really appreciate the separate boys and girls bathrooms!

Honestly, this visit just didn't hit the same 5/5 level as my first time here. Since I never reviewed that initial experience (which I absolutely loved), I'm giving this one four stars with that in mind. The fish tacos are still possibly the best fish tacos I've ever had. They're incredibly flavorful and crispy, with beautiful toppings that pair perfectly with the fish. The service was excellent. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about both the guests and the restaurant itself. Seating inside is somewhat limited but still cozy, with great artwork throughout and a mix of booths and bar-top seating. I tried the nachos this time and was a bit underwhelmed, though they may just not be my thing. The tacos also tasted slightly less impressive than my first visit, and I can't quite pinpoint what was different. Maybe just a little less magic this time. That said, it's still absolutely top-tier food, and I'll definitely be back.

We came in for a bite to eat and had a great experience. Service was welcoming and fast. The food was fantastic. I got he carne asada taco and it was perfect. The meat was tender, the tortilla was hot and soft, and all the toppings were fresh. My boyfriend loved the brisket tacos. These are the best tacos in the area hands down. They were playing great music and the vibe was great.

Wanted a bite to eat before going out, so we dropped by. Got the fish, pork and shrimp, chicken tinga, and steak tacos- they were all fantastic. We couldn't even share. Just the right spot. Perfect vibe, great food.

Our visit to Black Rooster today was my first time and my husband's second time. He was excited for me to try it and I was really looking forward to it! We ordered the guacamole and chips and it was so good! Very fresh and so flavorful! My husband ordered two tacos - Achiote Pork and the Black Rooster Asada. I ordered two tacos as well - Carne Asada and Smoked Beef Brisket. Of course we shared each of the tacos and they were all so delicious! I am so glad we went to Black Rooster! Looking forward to going back and trying more of the amazing food!! We were treated so nicely by the employees also. Very attentive and welcoming. The decor was really cool as well!

This little gem is in the Kia Center in Orlando, Fla. It's probably the wrong address, but it's all I could find. I got the Brisket Quesadillas. Absolutely yummy!!! A corn Quesadilla, filled with tender, flavorful brisket, cheese, with a Green Salsa. Topped with a Queso Fresca sauce. Outstanding!

This place is fantastic. Been wanting to come here for a while and finally made the drive. We were NOT disappointed. We tried 6 tacos. The pork belly and Black Rooster Asada were the best and the chicken tinga was right behind those. Perfectly seasoned. Just the right amount of spice in each. I literally have no complaints. The plantains were also to die for. Lightly salted and perfectly sweet. We also had their medium salsa (green tomatillo) and it was citrusy, spicy, and blended to make it slightly thick.

After my first visit, I've gone back again because I had such a great experience. Starting, parking is tight, so if you can't find a spot in the back there is ample street parking, but just know it could take a minute or so to get it figured out. Also, luckily, it's not been terribly busy when we've been, but its tight inside, so I'll assume it's difficult to find a seat during peak hours. Now, the food is incredible and worth all of those minimal hassles you may find. Maybe I should have led with that, but, it was worth the wait. Chips + Guac are a perfect combo to start the meal. Grab a marg, too, but they are a bit sour, probably the extra tequila, but it was worth it. The tacos are the main attraction, the star of the show, the leading lady. I'm not 100% which tacos I got each time, but I know I've had 6 different ones and they were each incredible. This spot will forever be on my list and should be on everyone's!

Stopped in for a late dinner treat after drinks next door at Guest House. Me and my bestie left wishing we ordered more because it was absolutely delicious and really hit the spot. You walk in and wait in line to order. You can gaze into the kitchen while waiting or even sit right in front of their kitchen windows. It's amazing to see how fresh everything is. Once we ordered our food we found a cozy booth. Seating is limited but you can also bring your food to the outside tables. Do not hesitate to get their chips and guac. It's homemade and the flavor is perfect. For tacos I got the carne Asada and it was so good. I loved the fresh ingredients in that as well. We didn't order a crazy amount of food but we are so excited to go back.

The ambiance was very fitting and cozy, better than most restaurants. Still being in a good price range and not too expensive. Very nice people and place. 10/10! 5 Stars!

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

The fajitas came out without the sizzle of the skillet (disappointing but not a deal breaker) and the chipotle chicken was overly salty. We love the table salsa and could not find them in the restaurant to ask for more until our food was delivered. But after that, we never saw them again.
