I was in the Hallandale area and wanted to work from somewhere before heading to a show and found this spot after a quick Yelp search! Upon arriving, it was definitely confusing. This location seems to just be for those in the office building because it is a bit hard to get to. The garage (very little amount of street parking is available) has a gate that looks like you can't get through but you can just drive up to it and it'll open. Then when you want to park, there's a "valet" waiting that you have to pay for even if they don't park your car, which was definitely very confusing to me... The actual coffee shop is on the second floor (I believe) and is surrounded by small offices. The cafe itself is nice with a decent amount of seating. The staff was friendly and the food and matcha were good. The cafe itself is good but the location is not the best.

It's very fitting, on theme, decorated for the holidays, the coffee tastes good, it's not wildly pricey, AND it's not ANOTHER Starbucks. It was my first time working in this building and I got here so early that I needed a cup of iced coffee. Salvador was so kind and sweet he put his heart into making my iced Carmel latte with almond milk. For paying a total of $6.21 I would say it's solid.

Gentle, welcoming, bravo for the team) for their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. I tried the lasagna, which was good, though not the highlight for me this time. Overall, a very pleasant experience, especially for the ambience and hospitality. Looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.

I've been here a few times - I will say about 5 years ago I loved it here. Recently I went back…read moretwice in the last 2 months and both times I've been disappointed. The service is slow and confusing, the food is underwhelming and I believe it is overpriced for the overall experience and quality. First, with the service - we always wait a long time to be served and when we do there are always drinks or requests missing. Today we asked for 4 waters in addition to our drinks and we had to ask twice more throughout the meal for the additional 2 waters to be brought. We were served our food with no cutlery or napkins and when I asked for it they sent over a manager more than 5min later as our food got cold. Regarding the food- it's definitely Instagram worthy for the most part but the flavor is underwhelming. I ordered the Croque Madame and it came missing the bechamel sauce, when I asked the server where it was/ if I could have more he insisted multiple times that that was not part of the dish... the bechamel sauce is what makes it a croque Madame. The flavor of the pancakes was grainy and dry, and despite ordering a decaf cappuccino my cappuccino was definitely not decaf. At the end of the meal both times we've been recently been, they show us the total on the screen but not the break down of the meal and try to scam you into adding additional tip without disclosing that there is already a service charge included. I'm not against tipping on top of the service charge if the experience is good! But in this case it was not warranted. While the concept is cute and they tried with the decor and vibe it's just missing the mark for me. I will not be returning.

The place was pretty empty when we came (2:40pm on a saturday!) even by the time we finished (3:50) there were still little to no people here. The attention was astounding!! Knife fell? Ran to us with a new one without even asking. Turned my head quickly to look at something outside? The runner ran to us to ask if we need something. Walked through the door and someone immediately peaked, greeted, and sat us. The food looked AMAZING and the flavor? I actually really really loved it. The waiter was sincere with opinions and recommendations and was attentive to our requests like a not too sweet drink and milk of choice. The food was a bit pricey but it was a good amount (definitely shareable for 2). There's an automatic 18% service charge so keep that in mind. When ordering water, they automatically brought 2 fijis of $4.50. Also a very small detail that's not too important, but it made it slightly hard to reading the menu how there's no commas in between listed ingredients. Everything else about the experience makes up for these things though. I definitely recommend eating here!

I ordered 2 milkshakes for my kids and an ice tea for me. The kids finished the milkshakes and were thirsty so I ask for water for them. The server told me we had told me there is (at the other side of the restaurant) free water which I would have to get up and get myself. I asked her if there was an automatic service charge and she said yes. I asked so why am I getting my kids water? She acknowledged what I was saying and said this was the decision of the owner. I started to ask for the owner and she offered to bring my daughters the water. She came back and apologized and I said it's not her fault. I just never heard of being charged a service charge, being brought the food and the drinks but the free thing I have to get up and get? She said it's a stupid rule and a lot of people complain. So if you're going, be prepared to have to get up And pour your own water if you want some.

First the ambiance. The minute you walk into the restaurant, you feel as if you were transported to a high-end European cafe or a London tea room. The elegance, the fresh roses, and the smart blend of modern and art deco styles immediately sets a romantic mood whether you're there for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Second, the food. Under the leadership of Chef Gianluca, he brings to life a variety of delicious Mediterranean inspired dishes. I tried the tuna tartar, the eggplant Parmesan, and the crispy shrimp as appetizers. That was followed by a homemade pasta dish that was perfectly al dente and amazing. As a main dish, I tried the filet mignon with truffles and mushrooms. But, as good as the meal tasted, however, the freshly made pistachio gelato served on a frozen stone for dessert was a show stopper. But, the ambiance and the food could not be outmatched by the stellar service. Our server Damaris, and her team added to the attention to detail that the ambiance and the food demanded and accomplished by the exemplary service on par with any Michelin starred restaurant. Adding to the experience, however, was the live entertainment by Vocalist Cami Liz, whose sultry renditions of ageless songs only added to the enchanting ambiance, the delicious food and romantic charm of The Rose Cafe, that ensures a return visit! https://www.rosecafeandrestaurant.com/
