What a great venue for a quick coffee meeting, date, some quiet work time or just some escape from the usual busy schedule. The menu was great for a quick breakfast, seated lunch, or even a snack break. I really enjoyed their outdoor patio area and appreciated their plentiful parking. Be weary of navigation apps directing people to the casino lot rather than the coffee. Beautiful cafe in Hallandale with easy parking behind the building. Ordered a tuna sandwich which strangely took about twenty minutes when only a few customers at 445pm being served coffee who came in AFTER me. Then I noticed my sandwich sitting in the kitchen window and alerted the server who then went to get it. We had to sit outside on the patio since they close at 5pm. overall Crema was good. The food was good, I had the open breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, aioli on a brioche bun and it was amazing! The service was nice, it was good. I did notice that they did charge a service fee of 15% when you do dine in and they have a sign which i didn't read till after i tipped but it's okay! I also had the cold brew with caramel and it was okay nothing crazy. Overall a good breakfast spot! My total came out to be around $25 for everything which is okay, leaning on the expensive side in my opinion for a coffee and food. read more

I got the breakfast croissant, a white macadamia cookie and an iced latte with lavender (yes all for me) and sat outside in the gorgeous sun soaking in this joy. Everything was delicious - the croissant was nice and hot, eggs scrambled perfectly! My iced coffee came out last which was kind of annoying but it was excellent so i'll be quiet now. Stopped by Crema Gourmet in Hallandale Beach and ordered the Greek salad with chicken--absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and everything tasted just right! What I didn't love was the tipping culture here. They automatically tack on a 15% service fee to every order, which already feels excessive, and then the screen still prompts you to add an additional tip. To make it worse, I ordered a bottle of water after my meal, and they still wanted to add the 15% service charge to that too. I guess just for pressing a finger on their screen?? I'm not someone who minds tipping for good service, but this setup feels more like double-dipping than rewarding staff. It leaves a bad taste, which is a shame, because the food itself is excellent. read more

They have a wide variety of fresh juices which I love to start my day with and just downstairs from spending the night at Zen Zone. Nice new cafe popping up everywhere! I live in Palm Beach and Crema has been making its way up to us with a new location in Boca. I haven't tried the one near me yet, but have been wanting to since I've heard how popular it is down south. We happened to be near this one while in Broward one day, so I convinced my fiance and daughter to try it. We ordered lattes, pistachio croissant, pasta and a turkey sandwich. All the food was delicious as well as the coffee. I hope they open up more locations in Palm Beach! read more

A very lovely coffee shop, the decoration is very nice and the outside seating area is cozy and comfortable. We ordered iced coffee, chai tea latte and also the Greek Omelette and the Feta Cheese and Tomato Scrambled Eggs with extra orders of smoke salmon, roasted potatoes and pancakes. Punctuality and quality is not a strong suit for this particular Crema. The last 3 times I've ordered online and the food was not ready when it was promised. Each time I've had to sit and wait almost *30 minutes* past the time it was said to be ready. And when I finally do get my order, the quality of the food is not up to par and seems very rushed especially the drinks. Matcha isn't mixed well (if at all) - very powdery and seems like they put little to no milk in it even though I'm being charged extra for milk preference. And the iced coffee is never made correctly and doesn't taste how it should when compared to other Crema locations. In regards to the quality of the drinks, it seems like the baristas are amateurs here. And as for timely service, it simply doesn't happen here. I don't know if it's the chef slacking or what but this location is NEVER punctual especially with online orders. Ordering online is meant to be quick and convenient for customers but not at this location. read more

I would recommend this place if you want to do some work, or for a quick meet up with friends or colleagues for a coffee, breakfast or lunch. I wouldn't recommend for large groups expecting a restaurant style experience, with a personal waiter. They have a very small staff. The staff was welcoming, attentive and the service was fast. The food options are simple but tasty and the coffee was strong (always a plus!). Cons: -The price was a bit steep, paid $23 for my salmon omelet and cappuccino...But I was full, loved the environment and they have free wifi. It wouldn't be a daily spot but I will go again. -Closes too early. They close at 5pm. They would do great being open a little later. read more

My wife and I went to this coffee spot today. I ordered a Matcha latte, which is my normal order. I asked them to please sugar in there, but they told me that I had to do it. I am not a big fan of that because that should already be done. My wife ordered an Americano and an open faced breakfast sandwich. The reason that the barista should be doing this is because when you're putting sugar granules and it's not stirred properly, you will be feeling the sugar granules, especially if it's brown sugar. When we had the open faced breakfast sandwich, it lacked a lot of flavor. Just a little salt and pepper on top of the fried egg would have made it perfect. We also ordered a turkey club sandwich just to give it another try, and it too fell flat. Putting three slices of bread with very little turkey and no seasoning mix or sandwich lackluster. Overall, it had a very nice patio area, which is great for people who have their dogs and want to bring them out, it was clean, and they have a variety of items on the menu, but I will not be going there again and I definitely don't recommend this place. read more

A couple areas for improvement: they've been out of half-and-half both times I've been and yesterday it took 15 minutes for my americano to be served. It's a very beautiful quaint restaurant but I wasn't satisfied with the experience. Although my order fell through the cracks, I feel like this could have been an easy fix on the restaurants part if ONE person had chosen to check on people eating at their restaurant to make sure everything is okay. Let me explain: After strongly leaning towards visiting one of our regular breakfast spots, my very hungry wife and I decided to try something new instead. We were excited to try some menu items at Crema after reading reviews, learning how delicious their options were to others, and how speedy they are as well. We shared everything and ordered a Latte and some oatmeal for starters. For our meals, we ordered the pancake breakfast and the salmon bagel. Once we sat, our starters came out immediately. The Latte was really good and the oatmeal was just okay. The presentation however was beautiful. We then wait for our meals as we see people come, order their food, be served before us or take their meals to go (the restaurant was not busy at all). After about 25 minutes, we ask what the hold up was for our order and was told that it would be another 5 minutes... Well it was another 15 to 20 minutes before we had to go back up again. They were now scrambling trying to figure out what happened. It took the manager to come out to realize that they had given our order to another table, probably over a half hour ago, closer to when they took the order. At this point, we came to the conclusion that "we probably should have just went to one of our regular spots" haha! We decided to pivot and actually do that. We asked for a refund for the items that we didn't receive and the manager was gracious enough to give a refund for the entire meal. Although it was an extreme waste of time, I wouldn't mind giving this place a go again as I'm hoping I wouldn't have the same experience. read more

Was looking for a breakfast place nearby and this place popped up. I recognized the address since it's close to my favorite arepa place, so I thought "should be good" and took my kid with me. To say underwhelming? Appropriate. Tasteless egg. Soggy bacon (with one crispy tip). Firm pancakes. At $13.49 no less? I've had much better. My kid's pancakes were also firm, but she enjoyed the banana, almonds and chocolate on it. The syrup was okay. I will admit that service was always done with a smile and with a great attitude. It's the main reason I vote for three stars instead of 2. Could be inclined to go again, if whomever was cooking there today isn't the one cooking for us. read more

Pros: The decaf espresso is delicious, and my husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich, despite the fact that the eggs were hard cooked, and not over easy (which I guess is a con). Valeria was really kind to try and right the wrong that happened on our visit. Cons: We were a party of 6. 4 of us were on one check, and my husband and I were on a separate check. After the party of 4 ordered, the cashier read their order back to them. Everything sounded correct. Then my husband and I ordered. We all sat at our table, waiting for the food and drink orders. Drinks came quickly, but the food took quite a while, and we were getting one dish at a time. So we all got to sit and watch our friend(s) eat while we waited for our food. Eventually, everyone received their meal, except for me and my friend next to me. After a while, she went in to see where her breakfast was. They said they were working on it. After almost an hour of waiting, my husband went inside because I had ordered oatmeal, and still hadn't received it. The oatmeal was sitting on the counter, cold. And my friend's breakfast apparently never even got made, so she had to wait even longer. Valeria came out and offered free drinks to all of us, which was very nice, but I think my friend should have gotten a free meal. Overall this restaurant is OK. I don't know that I would recommend eating here, but the coffee is good. read more
