    Argentinian baked spinach empanada
    Melissa V.

Don Pan in Davie, recently opened in the Shops at Stirling Place plaza. It's west of Davie road & Stirling and also the same area of the Hong's BBQ restaurant. I was here for a quick bite, which was this Argentinian baked spinach empanada (not dry!) to go with the guayoyo (basically, a watered down and less concentrated colada)! Formerly used to be Euro Bread & Cafe. Now, it's a Don Pan. I haven't been to one for almost 15 years. Last place I've been to was in the downtown Miami area. I'll be looking out for their Latin soups and food bowls next time. I was in a bit of a hurry. The ambiance - not too quiet nor loud, but friendly as expected. The staff at the counter friendly and courteous. I know I'm being repetitive, but I'm looking forward to this place again in the future.

First time visiting this specific location. I've been to Don pan several times and I believe this one is fairly new. I felt I had a harder time communicating with placing and order and talking to the waitress than I would at other locations. The empanada's were fresh and the cafe con leche was what I needed it to be. However I feel the meat wasn't as seasoned, Personal preference, I like the sawgrass location better for the flavor and customer service. If you're in Davie area I still recommend to check them out.

Whether you're ordering sandwiches, empanadas, burritos, or sweets, they are made fresh. It's definitely the best Don Pan that I have been to in Broward. Excellent food and hospitality. The best part is the lovely ladies who run this place. The energy when you walk in is always positive and friendly.

Came here with my pregnant wife, cappuccino and some empenadas! Nice store with seating and chill music. Need that AREPA!!!

Acabo de comprar un pan y no me dieron ni una bolsa, solo una caja que estaba abierta de un lado y se me cayó todo el pan.

The food is good but the staff is amazing! They're so sweet and you can tell they work so well together.

For now they are temporarily located at Bamboo & Orchid Gardens; 2325 S Flamingo Rd Davie, FL 33325, until their store is ready. The staff is super sweet as always. I always like to ask what their favorite menu items are and try them out myself to review and I have never been let down by their recommendations. Today is was raining pretty badly so I wasn't able to sit and enjoy the vibe of their new spot, but I will say it looks like a place where people can enjoy their drinks/meal and enjoy when the weather cooperates. You can also take a stroll through the rows of plants and flowers while you wait which is always very nice and relaxing. Today I tried some of their food items today; the Fig & Prosciutto Sandwich & the Avocado Toast which were both delicious. I am obsessed with the avocado toast! The combination of flavors is soooo good and I will 100% be ordering that the next time I visit Ren.

My daughter ordered an Iced Strawberry Marshmallow Matcha and a Nutella Croissant. I ordered an Iced Banana Split Dulce de Leche Coffee for myself and an Iced Coffee Bombom for my husband. I wasn't impressed with my first taste of my coffee and thought it just tasted like coffee but after mixing everything completely, it was really good! I had some leftover coffee and drank it the next day and it was even better! I had a sip of the Coffee Bombom which was also very good. I think it had marshmallow cold foam and 2 shots of espresso. My daughter was happy with her drink. The Nutella Croissant was heated up and the box it was in was nice and warm. She ate it while I was driving and I could hear the crispiness of it as she was cutting into the flaky layers. She let me try some and it was delicious! I was really impressed with how fresh it was, especially since it was around 2 pm. The coffee that they use is from Wells Coffee which is a local family owned coffee roaster. I'm glad we found this place and can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu. Come check this place out. It's a 2 for 1, you'll be supporting two local family-owned business!

When I got there, I was the only in line to order and the place wasn't really packed either. I ordered, sat down and opened my laptop to work a bit. I noticed it was taking a while, but also realized there was only person working in the back for the food, and the guy in front was doing all the drinks himself, so I gave the benefit of the doubt. I then noticed that the people coming in after me were getting their orders before I was. After a bit, I went up to the guy and turns out my coffee had just been sitting out for God knows how long. I'm irritated because 1. You brought other people their order to their table, so why didn't you bring me mine if you obviously saw that I was sitting down with my laptop open, not waiting on the side as if it was a to-go order. 2. Instead of at least alerting me that my drink was ready so I can go up and get it, you just let it sit there while chit chatting with two customers. 3. It took 30 minutes for a tequeño and empanada to be warmed up, and even then you gave it to me in a to go bag while everybody else got theirs on a nice plate. Mind you, he didn't even ask if it was for here or to go when I initially ordered, but at the same time, if it was to go, I would've waited by the register, but I literally sat down with my laptop open, so I thought it would be pretty obvious I was there to dine-in. There was a girl that sat next to me who came in maybe 5 minutes after, and we both gave each other a look like "where is our order?" And of course, it was just sitting out. Overall, food and drinks were not worth it, especially with the service. Looking at other reviews, I also see other people on the same boat. This place is adorable and has potential, but not with this type of service.

Delicious coffee. I must admit I've been to both plantation and this davie location, and I do not like this location for its parking. It has street parallel parking for pick up, about 2 other unassigned parallel parking, a parking garage for the residents of the building it is beneath and then a wide open rock parking spot that you have to pay for if staying for longer than 2 hrs. I did the rock parking and it was a good walk away in the Florida heat. The parking is simply weird and off putting. The food and coffee is delicious.
