This is on the site next door to the Greenman pub in the village, which used to be an Italian restaurant.
It's a friendly family run establishment, I came here after one of my daughters theatre shows as we needed dinner. It was about 8pm & I was a little apprehensive with 3 young tired kids in tow. I needn't had worried as they were very accommodating, even though they were quite busy on a Thursday night.
The tapas menu is safe, with nothing unusual, but then again this is suburban Surrey not Soho! There is also a specials menu which I ordered the mussels & chorizo from. I also spotted fresh octopus too.
We had;
Beef meatballs
Mussels in tomato
Potatas bravas
Pimentos
Prawns in garlic
Chorizo & chickpeas
Manchego cheese
Spanish potato omelette
Chicken skewers
All was tasty good food, not ground breaking or mind blowing stuff, but a decent honest local restaurant. So refreshing to find something like this away from all the predictable & overpriced chains in Epsom.
The bill wasn't bad too at £75(no wine), for 3 adults & 3 kids. read more
