Can't beat the lunch outside on a sunny day. Street is closed (UK embassy) so you have the quietest terrasse in the neighbourhood Great Vongole pasta.

3.5 stars: great ambiance, good service, mostly solid Italian food (for the Italian food lover). I would go back for the experience (and wine and bread), but maybe I have to try a different dish. Food/drinks: I ordered the seaseme coated seared tuna with artichoke. It was a huge portion, beautifully presented! Not quite my preferred texture (luke warm, not quite firm and flaky) but it wasn't bad. The wine we had was amazing! And the roll I tasted (focaccia?) was the highlight of the meal. Service: Great! We were well attended to, checked on, and never rushed, even as the last ones dining. They even brought us a shot of lemoncello to end the night (not sure if they always do that but it was a nice gesture after a pricey and filling meal). Ambiance: Intimate and truly worth returning to. It was like being in a home, sitting area meets library. Cozy. Dim lighting. Great for date or for dinner with colleagues. Overall, this place is for a pasta (and cheese) lover, and maybe less for gluten and dairy light foodie like me. But the experience was unique enough (and the service good enough) that I'd be willing to try again.

The atmosphere was very calm. Nice place to unwind. The staff, however, was not very attentive. Took minutes before we were greeted and the place was not even half full. We ordered an appetizer (which was delicious). Then Mr. O'Zandra received his entree. I didn't receive mine. Took a few minutes for us to notify the waiter. He was apologetic of course. I finally received mine after we had finished eating the first entree. We asked for another glass of champagne well before the first entree arrived. We received it after we had finished my entree. (smh) The food was delicious...Service was lacking.

The pasta was clearly fresh and delightful, and the chicken dish was light and airy for the chicken being fried a bit.

When we told the server that there was a rat all he said was "this is Paris" we asked if he could move it and he said "no, this is Paris don't worry." If it was just Paris we wouldn't have had other parisians in the restaurant being freaked out about. I get it we are Americans and aren't used to it, but not even putting the rat outside after we asked them to is awful. We stayed at the restaurant although we shouldn't have. The food took an hour and a half to come out, and the server was pretty awful. Typical for Paris but even worse than usual. The prices were outrageous and the food did not taste good whatsoever. Highly don't recommend this place if you value a good atmosphere without eating next to rats.

Although delicious, I was definitely expecting more for a restaurant with a Michelin star. It was just, simple. -experience was okay. It was my husband and i's anniversary and we have had other experiences where we would at least get a "happy anniversary", nothing felt personal enough (again for the Michelin star and the price).

We loved the service, attentive, friendly, answering lots of questions. Good wine list. Overall, somewhat expensive, but it's Paris. The carpaccio of beef was great as was the spinach ravioli with truffles. The only "miss" here was that the black truffles seemed to lack power and flavor which they sometimes do. I am not a truffle expert, but sometimes they pack a lot of very good punch and sometimes you can barely taste them, and in this case it was the latter. Feel like we got head-faked into the truffle menu and might have been better off on the regular one. Suggest: smell the truffles when they show them to you and if it's not fairly overpowering, then don't order. The bellinis were fanastic on the other hand. Overall, I'd definitely come back if I want a fancy Italian meal not far from the Champs Elyseees.

They were closed the following day (Sunday) so we were somewhat surprised to be greeted warmly and shown to a table which they made up for us. We were given a couple of menus, and told by our waiter in a nice way that the clock was ticking for the kitchen so we quickly chose a couple of pizzas and a bottle of wine. Having worked in kitchens before, I know first hand that latecomers are not the most welcome by the kitchen staff when they are trying to clean up and get out to enjoy their evening and the following day off. The food was wonderful, pizza dough was crispy, the toppings fresh in spite of the late hour, and the wine was excellent. Now the prices we have come to recognize in our first few days in Paris are pretty steep relative to Vancouver, which is saying something, but we feel we got our monies worth. One thing to remember in France when using a credit card is that you cannot add a tip on the machine, so bring cash with you to tip. If you add it to the bill on the machine the establishment gets the money not the person who waited upon you. Cash goes to them and them alone. We are leaving Paris in the morning and heading back to Fenice again this evening, a little earlier this time to enjoy their fine food one more time. Highly recommended from our first experience, here's hoping for a repeat. Bon appetit! VISIT #2 Ate here a second time while in Paris and were surprised that we were recognized upon our arrival and once again seated at the same table we had had a couple of evenings prior. I can only say that our second experience was even better than our first. Our food was outstanding, the service first class. We only wish we had more nights in Paris to sample more of the menu.

The restaurant did not disappoint. After delicious starters of eggplant, rocket and Parma ham we enjoyed scrumptious mains with veal, beef medallions, lamb and rhombus pasta all thoroughly enjoyed. The dinner was perfectly complimented with two Cabernet Sauvignons from different regions each uniquely delicious. Finished with a tasty selection of dessert and coffee. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable with a nice ambiance from other guests. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
