The finger print reading is time consuming to set up. But since it's an aluminum gate we were limited on options. That was my only regret.... Would have gone a different route with more options to lock the gate because that's the whole point !! No sense of having a nice gate if you can't lock it or manage it correctly from an app. All in all la fence made it happen & I'm glad I chose local business. read more

I hired LA Fence Company to replace a fence that had been improperly installed by a previous contractor and blew down in the wind. While the finished product looks good, getting there was frustrating and required a lot of oversight on my part. At the beginning, they made several promises about what they would do--such as filling the block wall properly and leaving a couple of extra caps--but unfortunately, they didn't follow through on many of those commitments unless I caught them. For example, they broke three of the caps on the block wall and just loosely placed them back on, planning to install the fence on top of them. Thankfully, my husband noticed and stopped them, insisting they be properly installed. They also tried to avoid removing an old post and instead wanted to "Mickey Mouse" it by attaching the fence to the house--something I later confirmed is never the correct method. Again, I had to step in and insist it be done right. They also promised to speak with the state board to explain how poorly the original fence was installed, which was important since I had an open complaint. But when the board contacted them, they backtracked and said they could only confirm that they installed the new fence--not what the condition was before. Other small issues included a gap under the fence they said they'd fix (but didn't until I followed up) and charging me for extra caps they were supposed to leave as spares. All in all, if you hire this company, you'll likely be happy with the end result--but only if you stay on top of the project. Be prepared to closely supervise their work and hold them to their word, as they don't always deliver unless you follow up. read more

I hired LaFence Craft to install a vinyl fence at my rental property in March 2022, after researching several companies. I selected them based on their strong Google reviews and the understanding that the materials and installation would be covered under a 20- year warranty. My main point of contact was Mark , who led the project and appeared responsive at the outset. However, my experience took a disappointing turn in May 2025, just over three years after installation. On May 2, my tenants reported that the bottom of the fence was bending and buckling. I promptly contacted Mark and provided him with photos and a video showing the damage. He acknowledged the issue and told me it likely needed to be reinforced with a steel bar, and that he would add the repair to his schedule. This seemed like a straightforward warranty issue. But after multiple follow-ups from me, I received only sporadic and vague responses. On May 16, Mark texted that his team would be at the property in 45 minutes. Naturally, I assumed the repairs would be carried out. Instead, Mark simply asked the tenants to move dirt away from the fence and send him updated photos. They complied--but after that, Mark went completely silent. Frustrated with the lack of follow-through, I contacted the LaFence office on May 27 and spoke with Daysi, who was helpful and sympathetic. I explained the fence issue and my struggle to get any meaningful response from Mark. Daysi said she would inform Mike (the owner) and that he would be visiting the site soon. She also advised me to contact the office directly moving forward, not Mark. On May 29, Daysi texted to confirm that Mike was on his way to assess the situation. On June 4, I finally received a call from Mark, who now said that LaFence Craft would fix the fence, but I would need to cover the cost of materials. He claimed the cost would be minimal and promised to get back to me with a quote by the end of the day. He never followed up. By June 9, after another call to the office, I was again put through to Mark--who now had completely changed his stance. He claimed the fence issue was not covered under warranty because the bending was due to "dirt around the fence." He then said it would be very expensive to fix and suggested I go to Home Depot to buy 2x8s and fix it myself. His instructions were unclear, and frankly, I had no idea what he was talking about. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. Mark was inconsistent and unreliable, initially acknowledging the problem and committing to a solution, only to backtrack weeks later. Despite the company's 20 years warranty, I was ultimately told to fix the issue myself. It's especially disappointing given that the fence was just over three years old and that I had chosen LaFence Craft based on their reputation and promises of long-term support. In short: * The fence began failing less than 3.5 years after installation. * The issue was reported immediately and documented thoroughly. * LaFence Craft first committed to fixing it under warranty, then later claimed the warranty didn't apply. * Communication was poor, inconsistent, and evasive, especially from Mark. * I was left with no resolution and was told to handle the repairs myself, despite my reasonable expectation that the company would stand behind their work. I cannot recommend LaFence Craft based on my experience. What started as an assurance of support turned into a months-long effort to get accountability --one that ended in silence, excuses, and an ultimately unresolved issue. read more

The gates and fence were installed properly and the team did a walk through with me after they completed the job. I am so grateful for the installer's honesty and informing me a few pipes were cracked during the installation. We called Jose, who came to assess the pipes, and the team who installed our new irrigation system. Fortunately, they were the old sprinkler pipes. LA Fence Craft is insured and bonded and Jose immediately stated he would repair/replace the pipes if they would cause a leak or any issue at all. The installer went above and beyond and found caps to cover the ends of the pipes before cementing. We could not be happier with our fence and gates! My sales rep who was Jose valued his customer and advocated to make sure that we were satisfied with the outcome, he did everything in his power to have things favorable and come to a reasonable agreement as to how the fence should be, my project was extremely complicated due to my property being on a hillside and a slope.
