My daughter and I stopped in here 10 minutes before closing. I was prepared to order "to go" but they would not have it. We were actually hauling a horse across the country, so we were very appreciative. I had the fajita ranchero, made with pork, which was very good. My daughter had enchiladas Verde, which she said we're very favorable, but she said they could've used a little bit more chicken, yet she would certainly recommend them. My family and I stopped and ate in Alma, Arkansas and did so because of the reviews. We were not disappointed. The food is fabulous and the prices are reasonable. The salsa was great, not too hot and seasoned just right. The service was great as well. I have bookmarked this place so if we are ever by this way again, we will be stopping. Not the best... not the worst. The food isn't bad, but I've had much better Tex Mex before. Flavors don't stand out when I'm comparing to the good places I've been to. It's good for that tex mex fix. I wasn't too pleased when I got home and my smothered chicken breasts were laying on a bed of raw onions and bell peppers. I'd like to eat my vegetables cooked like the rest of my food, not raw. You ever had a feeling the employees did something to your food/drink? I walked in, couldn't understand the employee & asked him to repeat himself twice. All the employees were congregated there & began to laugh & smirk. I had lunch fajitas & a tea. While I was eating I kept catching employees staring at me & chuckling. If they did contaminate my food, they made it obvious. If they did not do any harm, they made me uncomfortable enough that I won't be back. read more

This is by far the best Mecican spot in Alma (of the two). The staff are not unfriendly but they on they aren't overly attentive. However, the wait staff have always been very accommodating to our children. The place has always been very clean as well. read more

The service at this restaurant is horrendous. I've given it several chances, but each time I am blown away by the ineptitude of the staff. The worst example of this came when I requested a box for my uneaten food. After asking for it twice, my waiter finally went to fetch it. On his way back to our table I saw him hit another guest on the head with my to go box. It was not an accident at all. Further, when I tried calling to speak with a manager, I was never able to get through to one. I'll never go back to this hole. read more

Standard americanized Mexican food. I would like the staff to be less rushed so you didn't feel like you were on a conveyor belt. With the crowd and the waiters running around, it feels like you need to eat fast and let them clean the table for the next group. We used to love this restaurant but the food quality and especially the service has taken a turn for the worse recently. We ordered dinner to be picked up and when we returned home there was a missing meal. They acted like we were lying and demanded we bring all the food back to prove we weren't making a false claim. After we returned to the restaurant they had to remake the dinner because they had given ours to someone else(if they knew this...why did we have to bring all the food back?). No offers to fix their error other than filling the order. Nothing like everyone getting cold food. This will be the last time we use this restaurant...thankfully there is a better Mexican restaurant in town anyway. read more

My wife ordered a to go order tonight (12-18-2017) After arriving home she began to eat her Chimichanga and she found a blonde hair inside the Chimi. At that point we stopped eating and she called and asked to speak to the manager. When she spoke with the manager she told him what she had found and he argued with her saying it came from her. My wife told him it was a blonde hair and that she is a brunette so that was completely impossible so she told him that she would be back in for a refund. Upon returning to the restaurant she attempted to show the manager the hair and he refused her and continued to argue with her! She did get a refund though. Needless to say we will NEVER be back. Just went in to enjoy some mexican food, asked for a Steven Special. Everyone was friendly, including all the waiters and even the cashier. They made sure i was happy, while i enjoyed watching the game drinking a couple beers with my meal at the bar. The food was great, hot and also fast, props to the chef! The staff was overall friendly, fast, and simply good company. An amazing restaurant to take the family or a night out with a couple friends. This is like any typical mexican restaurant, but without any friendly staff. Honestly, the food wasnt good enough for me to justify giving this place a second chance. The waiter was in a hurry, never refilled our drinks, and was as friendly as a baboon. Don't waste your time and money on a family outting on a place thats as dereary as Azkaban. read more

I absolutely love Mexican food so I decided to give this restaurant a shot. I came in at opening and there were two big groups with kids. I was pleasantly surprised that I was seated well away from the noise. I ordered a nacho plate and ate the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were warm and crisp but the salsa was very thin. My meal came quickly. It had a whole slice of tomato on top and I wondered what I was supposed to do with it. The first chip was covered in cheese and very pleasant, but as I got further into it the rest of the chips didn't get such a good coverage. They were kind of stingy with the cheese. There were beef, chicken and beans on it. Other Mexican restaurants have taught me the difference between ground beef and asada. Asada is steak, made from finer meat than ground beef. This was definitely ground beef. The chicken was in long strands. The beans were ok. The staff was pleasant enough but I have had better food. read more

I go here just about every week, only because of the margaritas, lol. The food is as good as any Mexican place. Ground meat has no flavor. The service, not so much. If you're little and cute and flirt, you get good service, free drinks, and free meals. If you're not service is so so, unless you get one particular waiter then it's terrible!
