My family and I ate here and I have to say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. Very busy establishment but the wait wasn't bad at all. Maybe 10 min on a Friday night. I had the pollo Asado which was great and serving portions were plenty. The only thing that wasn't amazing was the rice and that was because it was kinda dry. My son had the tamale and he loved it. I've gone here a number times but I had stayed away because the quality of the food had seemed to not as good as before. But had lunch with my nephew for his birthday and was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the food had really improved. The service is always been great with friendly people and the food portions were large. As as they keep this up I'll be returning more often. read more

This place is NO party. We planned our company Christmas party here. I set reservations two weeks in advanced as well as calling the day before to verify our table. When we arrived we noticed that there were no table down stairs available. When I asked about the situation I was told they accidentally gave our table away... We have reserved a table for 20 people by the way. So it was not going to be easy to sit us upstairs. But we took were seated quickly at a table. We all came here because the food used to be great and the prices were OK. We were shocked at the 15 dollar casadilla and incredible expensive prices. For a nacho, chicken burrito and a pitcher of margs...we paid 55 dollars. The only thing that I enjoy was the margs. The 'rito was bland and over cooked the the nachos were no better than the baseball field. I will never venture back to this restaurant. Save your money and go to another joint. Because you will be disappointed at La Fiesta. read more

The regular and cabbage salsa they serve with chips are both delicious. I shared a chicken chimichanga that was nice and crispy and a steak fajita burrito. I loved the flavor of both. Ate here once when I first moved into town. Pretty bad to say the least. For starters their salsa was no where near authentic, it was weird actually. I kind base good mexican restaurants off there beans, rice and salsa because if they can get that right then the rest should be good too. But the rice was bland and hard, the beans were very runny and flavorless. I ordered a Chili Relleno and my husband the Chimichanga. First of all there was only one other table in there with us at lunch and it took at least 25 minutes to get our food out to us. My Chili Relleno had a long square stick of cheese in the middle, how do I know? Because they didnt even cook it long enough. The sauce over it was more like reddish colored water which ruined the batter of the already so bland dish. My husband Chimi was also not cooked long enough. His deep fried shell looked more like they stuck it on a griddle for a few minutes and rolled it around to get a little color on it. Originally from San Diego, I guess I expect a lot out of a Mexican restaurant...so to say the least this was very mediocre. And lets not mention how long it took to get our drinks refilled at a restaurant with only 2 lunch tables... read more

Been going to La Fiesta for over 10 years. Always a must when in Fallon. Great family-run restaurant. Reasonable prices, great food with huge portions. Decent atmosphere with ample seating. They can usually accommodate large groups with no problem. The Carne Asada is awesome. read more

This is a great stop off I-80 if you are looking for a tasty, casual, enjoyable dinner. The menu is huge, offering food that would satisfy adults and kids too. Portions are pretty big, so I recommend sharing if you aren't starving or don't want to bring home leftovers. I recommend the chimichangas. read more

I've been eating here since I was a kid and excited to see that they were still in business when I came through town. Their food is pretty tasty, reasonably priced, and a large portion for the price; however, their regular beef is pretty bland, go with the shredded beef. They have a fantastic selection of beers too. Service can be hit and miss. With friends and family, I ate here twice. The first time we sat downstairs and the young man behind the bar was super friendly, helpful, and on his game (I wish I knew his name so I could compliment his awesome service directly). The second time we sat upstairs and the gentleman, though polite, was painfully slow at his job. I have no idea of the hours, they weren't posted, but I was surprised that they were still seating on a Monday night at 10 when we left. The place is clean, interestingly decorated and the random power surges that make the lights flicker could make for a psychedelic dinner when mixed with enough tequila. Awesome food! The guacamole was some of the best guac I have ever had! They include more tomatoes onions and cilantro on the side in case you want to add more! The queso was equally fantastic. The main dishes are huge so you will have plenty of leftovers! read more

Service and staff were very kind, the sopapillas were very good... But the main course I ordered enchiladas, tamales, and taco plate. Enchiladas with green sauce, pork tamales, and a regular taco, it came with some salad, some Mexican rice and refried beans. When it got to the table the plate was burning hot, which leads me to believe Chef Mic.[rowave], was doing a lot of work for my plate, the food was luke warm... The food also got to my table suspiciously fast, within 5 minutes of me sitting which is incredibly fast for any Mexican restaurant I've visited [grew up in New Mexico]. The green sauce tasted as though it was starting to turn/ferment. So I scraped most of that away... The tamales that was not stuck in the green sauce tasted alright, the enchiladas without the sauce was bland... The taco... Well the managed to burn the taco shell so it wasnt very appetizing... The rice also suffered in the hands of Mic as well... Overall I can't suggest this place for more than those sopapillas and nice staff... read more

Cute restaurant, it's the more, if not the most, popular Mexican restaurant in Fallon. When you first get there the parking can be annoying since they only have a small handful of spaces in front of the restaurant itself, don't be surprised if you have to park around the block on Maine st.. This place is great for a special occasion, I took my family out to eat there for my grandmother's birthday and they were awesome they gave her a sombrero to wear while they sang to her and she also got some deep-fried ice cream (omg if you go there you have to try the deep-fried ice cream it's soooooooo yummy!). The staff is sweet there and the food is really good. I'm not sure if the price is always worth it (averages $15 dollar per person, and that's only because we don't drink), but maybe I'm just being cheap there serving sizes are HUGE after all and we always have left overs. read more

Having moved to Fallon from Reno six months ago, I decided to finally try this popular place. I ordered the #6, 3 enchilada combo plate. I was expecting soft, gooey goodness. What I got was 3 enchiladas with no sauce or cheese on top of them. Hard, corn tortillas with meat filling, oversized taquito. Not what I was expecting. This is my absolute favorite restaurant, I drive from Carson just to have dinner here. The service is always excellent and the food is great! I recommend the aprataldo dish it is the best!
