Not bad, not great. Tex-mex food, so it's ok. The waiter forgot some of our food, and they didn't have an item we wanted to order, but didn't tell us until the food was coming out. The staff are not friendly, the hostess never smiles the few times we've been there, the water was unfriendly, it feels like they don't want be there and get slightly irritated that you came and made them work. Seems clean, however they don't have seating for large groups so it gets very cramped. Definitely better places to go in Fort Smith. read more

Server No idea his name. He was punctual when called for and did refill drinks timely. Ambiance It's an Arkansas version of tex-mex. They've remodeled and the new ascetics are nice. Food The chips and salsa were disappointing. Chips should be served warm; smell and taste fresh. These did neither. The salsa tastes canned, not fresh. The fajita burrito was served with very salty and watered down queso. While the fajita chicken was good. It was not the best. The chicken was stringy which is not traditional for white meat. The beef taco salad was served in a much smaller bowl, but it was served full. She said it was not very good. It was lacking the traditional refried beans. Overall First, It's been a very long time since we've been here. I DO NOT like their new pricing structure. I usually order (at most Mexican restaurants) just fajita chicken meat (no veggies, rice, beans, or tortillas). Of all the restaurants we frequent; this place charges the most. 5.99 for a small portion and 10.99 for a large. Compared to just about every other Mexican restaurant 8.99 for a large portion. So, this is the last time we will be back here. Add to that. They charge to use your credit card. Other tables that got here and ordered after us, already had their food. While working in Fort Smith, a local told me about this place having some of the most authentic "Mexican" food around. After being in the road for so long, the thought of food with substance sounded way better than the usual fast food options. I breezed on over during lunch and picked up a few street tacos. The street taco special let's you pick 5 from steak, chicken, carnitas, or chorizo. Each one comes covered in onions and cilantro, no matter which protein you picked. I wasn't disappointed. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. My only complaint was choosing to eat 5 of the same kind of taco. I should have split my order with something else. That's my fault, not theirs. The service was fast and very attentive. A little hard to understand, but that goes along with being authentic. The inside was clean and well maintained. Never made it to the bathroom, but judging by the cleanliness of the dining area, it was probably pretty clean. I'd definitely snag a few more street tacos if I'm passing through again. read more

The service was great. Our waiter was on top of it all. The food was a healthy portion and tasted great. It's a nice little place to stop on your way through. As for the last one star review I have no clue where they were coming from. The chips were hot and fresh and the salsa was amazing!!! This is a must try!!! Okay, first of all the service is insanely slow, took them let's say.. about 3 hours to even ask what we wanted to drink?? And not to mention only one of their servers speak English? I get it's a Mexican restaurant but this is America? There shouldn't only be 1 English speaking server that's just plain stupid. After taking our drink orders it took them like another 30 minutes to give us our drinks, and then like another hour to take our food order. And like another hour to give us our food, which is understandable because it takes a while to cook food. (Ps. It wasn't packed AT ALL) Now that's not even it, I ordered a Spinach Quesadilla and it was packed with spinach, no cheese period. If I'm correct Quesadillas are supposed to have cheese, Of course I still ate it (like three bites) and it tasted like a deep sea creature Over all the atmosphere is nice and the prices weren't bad but that's the only thing good about this place, If I were you I would stick to take out. read more

This restaurant has been one my family goes to weekly. Just recently, they have started messing up our carry out orders every time. Whether it's leaving out an entire meal or giving us the completely wrong meal, never fails! Everyone can go ahead and boycott La Fiesta on 71! read more

My go-to restaurant when I am craving Mexican food. Seated promptly, and the staff is quick to serve your drinks and bring out chips and salsa to the table. Best salsa out of all the local Mexican restaurants, hands down! They serve generous portions and the food is always served hot. Never have to ask for refills on drinks and they check in frequently to make sure all your dining needs are met. The restaurant itself is small in size, but not so small that the seating is cramped, nor do they run out of seating during busy hours. I'm really surprised that there aren't more reviews of this La Fiesta. I like to eat here for the guacamole, fajitas and cheese dip. It's basically like the other mexican restaurants in Fort Smith but I prefer it over La Huerta or El Lorito. The guacamole is the best. The food is pretty good. The waitstaff is always nice and the place is clean. We eat here often because it's pretty good and relatively cheap. The salsa has NO spice. Ask for the tamatillo salsa. It is real hot and smoky. I like to mix the two salsas. I have tried almost everything on the menu and all of it was ok, not great but not terrible. They don't have any alcohol.
