I'm a 49 year old male who considers himself well traveled. I just ate the best quesadilla of my life and it's not even close. Steak, chorizo, avocado, cheese and more all inside it. This was my second time here but it's been years; really glad I came back. The salsa they provide free has a great fresh taste of tomatoes and cilantro. One of our kids, who is usually a really picky eater, even liked it. We ordered Carne Asada with all rice and chipotle chicken (Pollo Chipotle) with rice and beans. The Pollo chipotle was creamy with a good helping of sliced chicken. The chipotle was mild and not overbearing. It acted as a great sauce for the Carne too. The Carne was a little dry but had a good taste. I especially liked what I think was a large green onion they served with it. The outside of the green onion had a good seasoning and the roasted texture/flavor worked well with the dishes. I got the medium size margarita, which was a perfect size for the meal. The right amount sweetness and not really strong. Our server was nice but was maybe handling all the tables, causing slight delays. The booth, TVs and music make for a comfy environment. Appropriately $52 for two dishes, one kids meal, one beer, one margarita and one pop. I'll definitely be back. read more

Great service, great good, good cheap drinks! It is absolutely no surprise why this place is always full! The staff was on the ball, courteous, kind, kept our drinks filled and our food coming! Everyone was served quickly and extras were brought to the table quickly! My niece had the carne asada tacos and she said they were better than most, but not exceptional. Let me tell you what WAS exceptional: The Molcajete! Sis and I each got one and we added the shrimp! Hubby and I shared. We had enough for us each (I had 2 corn tortillas filled and he had 3 flour filled) and we STILL had enough for him to have leftovers the next day! The beans were on point with lard! La fiestas food is always great! I ventured away from my normal meal, which is the Maria Especial. I tried the chicken chimichanga and was not disappointed! We also tried the peach and strawberry margaritas. I'm normally a line gal, but these were pretty tasty! The service wasn't the best last night. We usually have great service there so maybe they were new. We had the party room and had about 15 people. The server barely checked on us and we had to keep walking out to find him and go grab our own napkins and cups. I will definitely go back and request our favorite server! We had a table for 9 and the service was outstanding! Cute place very family friendly. We went on a Sunday early evening and their special was pictures of margaritas and carnitas. The margaritas were wonderful not sweet so easy so drink. The carnitas were so tender. Food came out quickly and our whole table enjoyed their meals . We'll be back!! read more

The Good: This local place in Plattsmouth always has staff with a smile and love your business! Their food is great for a somewhat Americanized Mexican restaurant with fresh ingredients and large portions. We went here today for lunch, the waiter was really nice and took care of us very well. Our food was very good as it always is. I wish I would have remembered to take pictures for you all to see... The Bad: For most readers here I would say the bad is the drive out of Omaha to Plattsmouth but we worth it... Can't find anything bad about this place at all. The Ugly Truth: If you like good mexican food and a nice atmosphere with happy employees and big portions of yummy Mexican food you need to get of your couch and drive to Plattsmouth to enjoy a meal here. During Covid19 they are reopening now for dine in with plastic ware and Togo cups, so definitely looking our for everyone's health and safety. This place was amazing I ordered the spicy chicken chimichanga and I'm here to tell you that was the bomb, it was sooo good and I also had a horchata and that was very good too the service was fast and they even had room for our 9 person crew. I was amazed by the super fast service because this place was packed and I mean packed the parking lot was full I almost couldn't find a parking spot but luckily I did. We went to La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant for dinner on Cinco de Mayo. Even though this is a busy day for the restaurant, the food did come out hot and tasted good. Two things to note, 1) our waitress seemed tired, didn't really have an ambition to be there, 2) the margaritas were not made fresh. They tasted artificial.
