I haven't been to the gym for the last 6 months. Finally I got my butt up to the gym today and I was so happy. My gym at the fitness connection was so nice and clean. Made me to appreciate to go again. I am from California where the dirty gym ( in shape https://www.inshape.com) was over price and dirty. I must spent 50 bucks a months plus annual fee and initiation fee was over $200. I am so thankful I found fitness connections. I love going to the Zumba class on Saturday and fun peaking out at the woman only cardio room for the movie. It's only 5 mins from my house but there are so many fitness connections in Texas!!!!

This is a great alternative for me instead of paying the same for a gym membership. Keller Pointe…read morehas everything you need in terms of gym equipment and facilities and then some. Very spacious locker rooms and restrooms. Shower area is also spacious and clean. I was impressed with this, as most other places are lacking here. It's a huge bonus for me that they also offer indoor and outdoor pool, track, basketball and volleyball courts, and many classes. Also there is a Stay-N-Play for your little ones while you work out. My only complaint is it tends to get crowded, even on weekdays. A lot of older folks and seems like retirees come here during the week and almost all the treadmills, stationary bikes, and ellipticals are occupied with a few exceptions. So you may or may not end up waiting for a machine or need to adjust your routine according to what is available. The area clears up around lunch time. The bench/weights area usually less crowded.

Imagine my surprise when it was just my monthly fee. I reached out again and it was stated that I would be canceled next month and charged my remaining balance. When I asked why I wasn't canceled this month I was told that they couldn't help me becuse I needEd to reach out to my club branch to do this. Do your research, and if they are still contracted under ABC Financial, please do not sign-up for a membership at any of their locations as it is a scam. I had signed up years ago for a one-year contract because I knew I would be moving away and just needed a temporary gym membership at the time. When it eventually was time for me to move, I had been told by an ABC Financial representative that I had "renewed my contract for another two years." That was impossible. I knew I would not be living in Ft. Worth for more than a year. Even when I had quoted her from the contract copy I had in my hands, she said she was, "reading from my new contract," and did not send me a copy of said "new contract" after requesting it. Eventually, the only way I could get out of my membership was literally by moving to another state where there was not a location within a 25-mile radius. They also required proof of new residency to get out of the contract. I had to provide my change of address form and a letter explaining why I was discontinuing my membership in order to get out of the fee. The fee is whatever monthly payments are left on your account in total. DO. NOT. SIGN-UP.
