Went there last week for my first ever sunless tanning experience. I went in and got a three spray…read moretan package and some products for my upcoming vacation. It was a little more than I was planning to spend, but the lady seemed nice and I'm a big believer in getting what you pay for. I went home, shaved, showered and scrubbed that night. The products were nice and I felt confident going in for the actual spray tan the following day. I got there and there was a huge line, the store manager Skylar was a big help. She explained everything in a detailed manner, even though I could see she was busy, but I could tell there were a lot of customers so I didn't ask any followup questions. Anyway, I do the spray tan, and seeing small flecks on my body, I raked my towel across them to even it out. As soon as I did that, I knew I had made a mistake. But when Skylar saw me, she was very proactive and empathetic. She knew I was new to sunless tanning and she bent over backwards to help me get it off and retan. Cameron helped her as well, and they were so kind and thoughtful I really had to write this review. I was mostly satisfied with my tan, but I think practice makes perfect so I'm looking forward to the results of my next sunless tanning treatment that doesn't involve user error. My only request is that tanning packages be a little more transparent so I can know exactly what I'm purchasing (a list or menu would be helpful) and maybe some explanation for why your products are superior to other products. I've worked in skin care industry before; the tanning products are priced at department store price points, and that's no problem, but more knowledge about them and why they are worth the investment wouldn't be a bad thing. Those are my only two little suggestions, other than that, amazing service for an effective product. I got genuine compliments from several coworkers, so we can count it as a success.

Arianah, who claims to be the manager, attempted to charge me a $10 fee for using the Versa Spa tanning booth, something I have never been charged for in all my years as a member. When I called another location on speakerphone to confirm that this charge was incorrect, they agreed with me and offered to let me tan there. Despite this, Arianah insisted on the fee and even called a former employee, pretending she was still in charge, which became clear when the woman slipped up and admitted she no longer worked there. Arianah refused to look up my tanning history, denied me the service I've had for 15 years, and even threatened to cancel my membership and call the police on me for no reason other than my insistence that I shouldn't be charged. Her unprofessional behavior, coupled with the inappropriate attire she was wearing, was not only unprofessional but also a very poor reflection of Palm Beach Tan. I hope management will address this situation quickly. If I do not receive a call from someone in leadership to resolve this, I will be forced to cancel my long-standing membership and post my reviews online about this location on other sites. I found a test drive coupon for Palm Beach in Lincoln Square, I was so pleased. I am dark already , I tan on a regular basis and while most salons require that to use their coupons that you must tan beginning in their lowest level bed. The young lady working started me in their best bed , I have tanned 5 days in it and their phenomenal Stand Up bed. Their pricing combines their spray tanning and bed tanning into a single package which I like. I was not pressured into purchasing lotion there , upfront I made it clear that I have my own that I like and that I am educated in proper skin care with sunless tanning. I have 2 more days on my test drive , which I will finish and definitely will sign up to do a membership here... The hours are so convenient and the location while less than ideal, by a TGIF resturaunt and a pub it is manageable as I prefer tanning before 10am most days. I have found the other staff members to be just as friendly and non pushy as the young woman I see every morning during the week. I commend them on not requiring someone with a deep base tan to waste their time in tanning in a level 1 or 2 bed. I will reccomend this salon to others , Price wise it seems high, but considering what I was paying elsewhere and what little I was getting for the price I do not feel it is over priced. This salon has the newest Versa Spa spray booth too , those are expensive to tan in single sessions and combining them gives me more options than I have had in the past.
