I have the Planet Fitness black card which allows me to go to every planet fitness in the US, which is really cool because you get to try different places when you're out and about. I'm a service technician so sometimes I finish my service calls late and still wanna get a workout in so it's super nice that Planet Fitness has locations all over. This location is new and just like all the rest of them super clean nice restrooms plenty of TVs that all work Hydro massage massage chairs at plenty. It's a very big Planet Fitness. Super cool bonus I've only seen it. A couple of planet fitness is is the free weights for bench and squat. They have racks in a separate area, which is awesome. The staff was super friendly happy that everyone is there thank them for coming in. Everyone was in uniform so you knew who worked there if you needed help with anything. After getting my key fob stolen from a stall in their facility not once did a manager reach out to me. The showers have mildew and I've literally taken pictures of roaches in the locker room. They employ under age staff who blame you for being stolen from. It's clear they have no sense of customer service nor cleanliness. I will be adding pictures of roaches and mildew. They also like to report your reviews instead of handling the issue. But, I don't expect people who disregard company policy to have any integrity or shame. read more

I WAS a member of Planet Fitness but did not renew my membership. The gym itself is clean. They do not offer group classes, such as step aerobics, etc. Customer service is hit or miss. Members are allowed to walk around the gym, yelling into their phones and distracting other members. An employee continually allowed a friend to sleep in the seated area next to the tanning rooms. Like, he looked homeless. There constantly. This really creeped me out and I stopped coming because I did not feel safe, especially when I would be using the hydrochairs near the guy's sleeping quarters. Adden: Planet Fitness allows anyone to claim they are "trans" and choose which restroom to use. This is one of the largest Planet Fitness locations that I have ever visited and is a very nice gym at the price point. You can join for $10/month plus the annual fee. I recommend the higher level membership at $25/month plus the annual fee because you have access to the massage chairs/beds and "Total Body" treatment, plus you can visit more locations AND bring a guest with you whenever you visit. They have free wi-fi and you can bring your own lock to use a locker for free while you exercise. This location has lots of space. There is a ton of cardio equipment, a 30 minute workout area and a really large abs/stretching room with the most mats I have ever seen at a Planet Fitness. Also, this location is kept super clean. There are always supplies to wipe down the machines/mats. While the Planet Fitness app has a meter to tell you when it is crowded, I will say that it can be difficult to work out after work during the week (say, around 5:30PM). The machines get busy and the 30 minute circuit area gets bogged down by people not doing the circuit. We avoid the Monday after work rush, and try instead to go Sundays during the Cowboys games when it's less crowded. There seems to be a larger-than-average number of people who don't wear deodorant at this location (not much Planet Fitness can do about that) and most people no longer clean the machines after using and sweating on them. This is actually the best gym I have ever gone to. The equipment is clean and so are the restrooms. Greg is so nice with us and helps us with questions and with the massage machines. Overall this gym is a 10 out of 10. read more

I've been a member since they've opened this location.. appx 2 years. Large facility, widely spaced machines, and lots of equipment. Everything is usually kept clean and maintained. Locker rooms are usually kept clean. A couple pieces of equipment are in need of repair. There is only one water fountain that does not work. Guys... For ~20k sqft facility, maybe install another? During peak hours you can still get around because of the amount of equipment. Staff is always friendly. My only concern is I hope they maintain this level. It's probably the nicest PF I've been to. Everything you'd expect from an older gym. Some machines constantly break. Very small gym compared to some PF locations. Some people do not clean after machines, which is gross. Do your same cleaning procedure after every machine, I'm not sure if it's the area or in general people don't clean after themselves. read more

They require you to cancel in person then charge a but out fee. You pay that then they still take out the annual fee 10 days later. But your receipt states you can no longer access the gym cause its canceled. That's why they only take eft withdrawal, for stealing purposes. read more

So Black Card member here, so I thought when I was away from home base today, I would try a different gym while on the other side of town. The gym was really busy, so I purposely walked around the gym to find a good spot to jump rope for Cardio. I found a corner with no traffic behind the chest machines. 15 minutes into my cardio, a young black man with Trainer printed on his shirt stopped me to tell me that I'm not allowed to jump rope in the gym and if I continued, I would be barred from the gym. (Is that a thing?) I was not aware that each PF Fitness in Dallas can make up their own rules. The associate did not apologize for the situation neither did he ask me to stay and workout. Neither did he ask if I was new to the gym, only that I needed to stop. I'm 56 years old. I've been working out since I was 18 years old so I'm very familiar with proper gym behavior. You can't jump rope at a gym??? I will never suggest to anyone to patronize this gym in Las Colinas. read more

I checked into this location today 8/10/23 at 5:36pm. The gentleman behind the counter didn't offer to greet me or my guest which I didn't pay much attention to until later in evening. I approached a young lady at 6:42 to purchase a water and she looked at me and asked the gentleman to ring me up for the water instead. He was on another computer across from the cooler so I walked over to him as he didn't move, or acknowledge me, and went back at his computer. I got to him and then he motioned for me to go back to where I was standing before. Annoyed at this point, I see the young lady assisting other guest with their beverage purchases. I kept my cool and continued my workout. As we exited the gym even later we saw the two associates talking to each other, they looked at us as we said goodnight but didn't bother to respond. In fact they looked away as if we didn't exist. Judging from other reviews poor customer service seems to be an ongoing trend at this particular location. As guest we deserve proper treatment from employees as they would expect from the guest. Management should perhaps investigate, and perhaps offer material on proper customer service. Over all the gym was clean which I appreciate. The poor customer service definitely ruined my experience at this location. read more

Only been to this location one time. Went during a quiet time. A lot of machines open. Enjoyed the tanning and infrared lights. The water machine wasn't working. Hopefully it'll be operating when I return. Front desk girls were kind and helpful. I did not use the locker rooms so can't give feedback on that. read more

Do not go here. They allow a man to go into the ladies locker room to "clean" while there are women in there. The first time, he was in there at 7:30am...prime time for women's locker room traffic. I asked him to leave as I had to get ready. The next day, I was in the shower. There was 2 women showering, 2 women in the bathroom stalls and he was standing right there when I got out of the shower. A bunch of of ladies complained and I asked a manager to call me on 3 separate occasions and no one ever called me back. The next day, I was blow drying my hair and heard someone yelling into the locker room. Again, prime locker room activity time...7:30a. I turned off the dryer and he was standing at the door. There was no flood or fire. Other times, when I've walked in, there is a sign that says "woman in locker room"... which isn't true. He's a man. read more

I've been coming to this planet fitness since it opened last week and I'd just like to say huge high five for the staff. They are always so nice, all times of the day. I've came early, mid day and overnight. The gym is extremely clean and the layout of the gym is great there's so much room, definitely a lot bigger than the other gyms. I was given a great tour my first day. It really made me feel confident knowing how to use all the new machines. read more

I've gone to different locations Planet fitness and I always have good experiences at all of them. This location I've been to a few times and the guys that work at the front office are nice and respectful. The only issue is that the female worker that is a bit chunky with grown out blonde was rude and confrontational and I was nice to her the whole time. I asked to use the massage bed and the one I used was not working right and she was rude about it and said they always work like that which is not true because I always use them everytime I workout. She didn't even move me to a different one she just said I don't know what you want me to do about it. I just said it's okay thanks just to avoid confrontation and I walked out because I didn't see the point in getting a massage on a bed that is not working. If she wasn't working there I would give this place a 5 star but attitude is everything. read more
