At today's market, The Crepe Guy was making a chicken and waffles-topped crepe and a blueberry-topped crepe. I opted for chicken and waffles, a crepe I've tried before and loved. Today's chicken and waffles crepe looked beautiful but didn't do much for me. I found the chicken to be over shredded and over saturated with syrup, making it pretty mushy and too sweet. The crepe itself was delicious, as was the chive butter on top. Because I've had a successful experience with The Crepe Guy before and also because he's so wildly popular with my friends, I know I'll visit his booth again. He's a very creative cook and I definitely want to try some of the other crepes in his repertoire.
