I spent around $70 tip included I got me and my kids some tacos and I added myself some Phillycheese Egg rolls. Well when I got home I opened the tacos for my Kiddo when he got out of school and there was not even half a scoop let alone a full scoop of meant on the tacos they were covered im cheese and lettuce it wasn't until he was about to put them in the air fryer I noticed the tacos were empty I thought maybe he spilled it. NOPE the tacos were empty when I tried calling nobody has answered so now we are going to hyvee and who tf would just give there kids shells, cheese and lettuc. After driving past Grubeez for the last nine years, I finally stopped for dinner. Yelp reviews were very positive so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm always looking for the "best" burger in a given area and often end up disappointed. Some of the daily special burgers on their website looked enticing but today they featured a chicken sandwich. So being a mushroom fan, I ordered the 1/2 lb bacon, mushroom, and swiss burger with mushroom sauce. It was enormous. I only ended up eating half and felt satisfied. While the meat was very flavorful and well seasoned, the sauce was a little salty. I could imagine ordering a "child' quarter-pounder for $3, adding a slice of cheese, and feeling happy. This impressive burger also came with two sides. I ordered the baked beans and potato balls. The beans were quite good, not as brown sugary as one review suggested. Giving the potato balls to my son turned out to be the right move, since I didn't have any room for them. Finally, I have to mention the price. All that food ended up costing less than $10! (The potato balls only cost an additional 30 cents.) Given the price of good burgers in the quad cities, this is quite a bargain. Ordering ahead seems like the best strategy. I didn't and waited 15-20 minutes for the food to be done. Then again, a burger like that shouldn't be ready in 5-10. So is Grubeez the best burger in the quad cities? That's a very subjective concept. Some prefer their burgers with mixed meats and exotic toppings. For that clientele, Central Standard is hard to beat. Others prefer "comfort food" burgers bursting with familiar flavors and lots of quantity. QC Coffee and Pancake House makes a very good burger that fills the mouth with flavor. It's in the same price range as Grubeez while being smaller and offering fewer sides. Breakfast and lunch hours also make it less accessible. Grubeez, on the other hand, opens early and closes well past dinnertime. For those reasons, it's definitely a contender. Perhaps after a few more trips, Grubeez may end up on top. read more

We ate at their Rockingham location. It was bright and cheerful. I ordered the half rack of ribs. They were hot, tender and meaty. Probably the best in the QC. My husband ordered ribeye dinner. It was perfectly cooked and was so large he took home leftovers. The rest of our party had pastas and a tenderloin. We all enjoyed it And then to top it off, we got free dessert with the dinners. Excellent food at an even better price! The burgers are very very good as well as the boneless wings, but I imagine anything you get there is very tasty. I have been getting food at this location since they opened a few years ago. EVERYTHING is GREAT!! I have not had a bad item yet. Prices are EXCELLENT and quantity and quality of the food is great! I highly recommend their tacos and the philly cheesesteak. If you can get your hands on some of their ribs...guard them well because someone will try to steal em from ya. We usually only get the $1 tacos on Tuesdays. Finally branched out and tried some other things. The ribeye was well seasoned and the side items came in generous portions. The wings are huge! Me and bud went here on Thursday night for supper. We got there and we were the only ones around. They have outdoor seating and opted for under the canopy to keep out of the wind but it was yet 62 degrees. You order at the window and pay, then take a seat and wait for the food. The girl at the window was super bubbly and friendly, but talked so fast we couldn't hardly understand the specials she was trying to explain. So went with the regular menu items with two sides. Their pops are in a can. I got The Stinger burger with baked beans, and potato balls. My buddy ordered the Philly steak hoagie with mac and cheese, and potato balls. She told us it would be about 15 minutes and she was right on. The food came and both sandwiches were huge. My 1/2 pound burger was topped with house slow-roasted pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and spicy creamy coleslaw on a potato bread Kaiser roll. The baked beans were in a side bowl and hot and tasted just like my grandma's. Thick, onions, and lots of brown sugar. Potato balls were something new to us. The employee girl told us they are made from scratch with shredded hash browns, a binder, seasoning and rolled into golf ball sized shapes by hand so they stick together. Then dunked in beer batter, and then tossed in the deep fryer until golden brown and look like hush puppies. Three in an order with a southwest style sour cream dipping sauce. My friend's Philly steak was about 8 inches on french bread and loaded with sliced beef, grilled green and red pepper strips, and sauteed onions, with provolone. The mac and cheese was kind of runny and the sauce sat in the bottom of the bowl. He only had a fork so couldn't get much of the sauce scooped up with the macaroni. He kind of liked the potato balls, but they were definitely something different. Liked the dipping sauce. He was able to finish half the sandwich, then took off the top bread and used a fork to eat most the rest of the meat, onions, and peppers. The spicy coleslaw on my burger was getting a little too spicy on the second half (was told there is cayenne pepper in the slaw sauce) so I took off the bun and just ate the beef and BBQ pork with a fork since I was pretty full anyway. Left one potato ball, but ate all the delicious baked beans. You get a lot of food for your money here and the wait staff and employees are super talkative and knowledgeable about all the food they serve. I would definitely go back and try some of the other food they serve. read more
