Curd burger is awesome. Crispy chicken fried bacon! Amazing! Cheese curds on a burger! Amazing! Spicy pickles! Amazing!

Service was great. Wonderful small business just outside the Heart of Davenport. Curd burger with chicken fried bacon, cheese curds and spicy pickles. Checks off all the boxes for a decadent lunch.

I & my wife, are begining to stop here more. It bothers me that we have not realized, we havent had any meal or dish bad from here! Usually im on top of that. Wings, fish, fries. Excellent for me. Today my wife had "the stinger". It was a tremendous burger, with bbq sauce, onion rings & pulled pork. Fyre! There is a kicker! I dont believe anything on the menu is over ten bucks a plate....

If you like good burgers this the place to stop. Literally just started eating here a week ago and not gonna day how many stops I've made already but just know every burger is worth talking about. To top it off what's worth screaming about is the philly roll. One bite and my tastebuds were delightfully disrespected. An explosive flavor comes bum rushing your tongue making You wish your ordered more well before you're even done. Make your tummy happy and stop by GruBeez

Bacon, Mushroom and Swiss Burger with Mushroom Sauce

After driving past Grubeez for the last nine years, I finally stopped for dinner. Yelp reviews were very positive so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm always looking for the "best" burger in a given area and often end up disappointed. Some of the daily special burgers on their website looked enticing but today they featured a chicken sandwich. So being a mushroom fan, I ordered the 1/2 lb bacon, mushroom, and swiss burger with mushroom sauce. It was enormous. I only ended up eating half and felt satisfied. While the meat was very flavorful and well seasoned, the sauce was a little salty. I could imagine ordering a "child' quarter-pounder for $3, adding a slice of cheese, and feeling happy. This impressive burger also came with two sides. I ordered the baked beans and potato balls. The beans were quite good, not as brown sugary as one review suggested. Giving the potato balls to my son turned out to be the right move, since I didn't have any room for them. Finally, I have to mention the price. All that food ended up costing less than $10! (The potato balls only cost an additional 30 cents.) Given the price of good burgers in the quad cities, this is quite a bargain. Ordering ahead seems like the best strategy. I didn't and waited 15-20 minutes for the food to be done. Then again, a burger like that shouldn't be ready in 5-10. So is Grubeez the best burger in the quad cities? That's a very subjective concept. Some prefer their burgers with mixed meats and exotic toppings. For that clientele, Central Standard is hard to beat. Others prefer "comfort food" burgers bursting with familiar flavors and lots of quantity. QC Coffee and Pancake House makes a very good burger that fills the mouth with flavor. It's in the same price range as Grubeez while being smaller and offering fewer sides. Breakfast and lunch hours also make it less accessible. Grubeez, on the other hand, opens early and closes well past dinnertime. For those reasons, it's definitely a contender. Perhaps after a few more trips, Grubeez may end up on top.

1/2 pound, pulled bbq pork, cole slaw and ff onion on large bun. Sides baked beans and spicy cole slaw.

Very good food. Cole slaw alittle hot. But will surely visit again. Reasonable prices.

I usually love grubeez. Tacos are VERY good and cheap. Ribs and Sunday steak dinner are great! However, today I had the Italian beef. Tasted okay, at first. Then all the salt kicked in! Why guys??! Why? Inedible fries, sandwich not much better. Beans are good. Maybe cause they didn't dump salt on them? I will still come back for the ribs!

After some reviewing of food places nearby my hotel, I learned about this location…read more I went here for lunch, shortly after they opened. The location was very easy to find with a fairly big parking lot Inside of the place was clean and very spacious feeling. Their menu was simple but not in a bad way. It's mainly some appetizers, burgers, fries and a shake/drink For my lunch, I got Firehouse Burger and ir was a perfectly cooked medium rare. I got a side of fries but didn't hear they offered a medley which my wife got. I wish I got a shake but they give you so much food that I was full For an appetizer, we got the spinach artichoke dip. Although it was good, it was a little different than what I was used too. Overall, the food was delicious and I would return again if I am ever in the area.

I was seated right away but wasn't seen by a server for quite a while. When he did arrive at my table, he requested that I move to a different seat at the same table, so I scooted over to what I discovered to be the dirty half of the table. When he came back, I ordered my lunch, and the burger I got was of the same caliber as those at Culver's but for double the price. Small, thin patties, cooked to order as long as it's medium or well done. My drink finally arrived after I'd finished my meal, but it made for a nice dessert. I was given the drink at half price for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. I'll be back only to try their lobster mac, but their burgers are sad and way overpriced.

It's decked out with live plants, some comfortable booths and some tables. It's an attractive space with a good view of the kitchen. It's a solid little space. We ordered the house salad, which is tossed in buttermilk ranch dressing and it's super delicious. Such a great salad to start with before the pizzas. It's large enough for 3 people to share, as there were 2 of us and we had some left over to take home. Brian Olsen has pizza on lock! He is a master at his craft. These pizzas have an amazing flavor, terrific crust and quality ingredients. They serve burgers and a chicken sandwiche, too! We ordered 3 different pizzas... one with garlic cream sauce and green peppers, one with pepperoni, sausage & red peppers and another specialty pizza with the hot honey & arugula with pepperoni and Calabrian chili's. Man, that was some good Za!! Claire was our server and she was terrific, too! Clearing dirty plates, refreshing silverware and beverages. Terrific attitude! All in all, Bettendorf has an amazing pizza restaurant that the locals should be grateful for in their own neighborhood! And, Smash serves beer, wine, and cocktails, too. I wish I lived closer. I'd become a regular and dine in often! Whenever I'm back in town, I'll be sure to stop by to try some different specialty pies, like the elote pie. That one sounded really good! So did the za with wild mushroom & kale!! Maybe one day Smash will create a taco pizza to compete with Happy Joe's, rip Joe Whitey. But, seriously, there is no comparison between the two. Smash is hands down one of the best pizza restaurants in the QC's and is better that many BIG city pizza spots. Thanks for the good time, great food & service!!

The wide crust pizza is utterly fantastic. Only complaint, they need a red ale I can drink with my slice ;) staff is always attentive and earns their tips, I guess a 2md flaw is it's a small shop and I've seen groups show up with no tables open for them to sit, I've been lucky I guess. The overall feel though is nice and homey. Lots of different people, families, business meetings, reunions, old couples there for a pie to eat and a pie to take home. The bar isn't exactly a social event but when I eat a slice of a pizza to go at the bar with a beer before leaving I've never left without talking to someone fun
