On top of my ridiculous expectations I needed someone who didn't hear the word Wedding and jack up the prices . I was greeted with smiles and immediately sensed I was in a place that enjoyed their line of work. I let the owner know I had a tight budget for flowers and hoped she could work with me . Surprisingly , she was more than happy to give it her best shot and grabbed a pen and pad so we could tally up my needs versus my price range . Basically I asked for a small brides bouquet wrapped in twine , three boutonnieres one for me another for my son and best man. Then I asked for a small crown of flowers for my 9 month old daughter that was inexpensive incase she ruined it, a tiny bouquet for the brides maid and last but not least a flower arrangement for the person who put together our dinner party as a gift . So seven different items and the best part is that with my impossibly small budget they where able to make it happen . I cannot say this amount of flowers in a weeks notice at my price range would be possible without La Fleur Fresh Flower Market and the women who made it look so beautiful. I don't just recommend this place but whole heartedly thank this place for the kindness they extended to me and my family . Welcome to the neighborhood, La Fleur! On my first visit, I was warmly greeted and offered as much (or as little) help as I desired. I like that style. For someone who buys a lot of her cut flowers from grocery stores, the concept at La Fleur was refreshing for me. You walk in the cooler, and pretty much everything is sold by the stem - put together your own bouquet, or let the creative employees guide you. I went the former route and ended up with a beautiful bouquet for about $20. La Fleur offers some old favorites - like irises and snap dragons and sunflowers - and then there are the more unusual flora too - things I'd never seen before. Lovely greens too. You can choose from a variety of vases, ribbons, and decorations, or go au natural with just plain brown paper. Yes, it's pricier than the grocery store but here I am almost two weeks later and my bouquet is still lovely - not one stem has started to wilt at all. That means these babies are really fresh and of the best quality. So next time you want to surprise that special someone, or just treat yo self, spend a little time at La Fleur. Boyfriend got flowers fo me there, and they lasted for 2 Weeks! I thought I better see what the secret is, so headed over. You pick your stems. Prices are clearly marked, and I seem to land a handful for 25-30 bucks. They can arrange for you, and do lots of fancy things, but I am more of a grab and go. It's easy to put a bouquet together, they have lots of greenery, baby's breath, and a variety of stems in easy to coordinate colors. My HEB flowers last 5-7 days. La Fleur runs 10-14, so a good value, plus you aren't stuck with daisies in unnatural shades. Check them out, and help a newish local business! read more

I rarely write reviews but this spot was just too wonderful! I needed to fill up a few different sized vases with flowers and greenery but didn't know how much I would need so I wanted to find a florist where I could build my own so I didn't buy too much/too little while having everything still be cohesive. La Fleur allows you to bring your own vases in and you can just set up at a table and go in and out if the floral room to pick the stems you want! The sweetest woman (sorry I forgot her name) was so helpful providing some feedback and ideas but ultimately let me take free rein on it. The stems were so fresh, well priced, and they had a lot of unique flowers that you can't find in the supermarket. After about an hour of research, I decided to order through La Fleur Fresh Flower Market. I was nervous to order the Designer's Choice bouquet because I'm very much a "what you see is what you get" kind of gal, and you technically are not seeing what you are going to get. However, the sample image looked beautiful so I thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed! Kimberly emailed me a photo of the flowers before they were delivered and her bouquet design was wonderful. So bright and cheery for a July birthday. She also accommodated my requested delivery time window.
