While exploring Cozumel I made our driver take us to get ice cream. I told him to take us to an authentic and cheap ice cream shop and he ended up taking us here. He told us it was his favorite and we were not disappointed. I ended up getting a chamoy mango and loved it. People in our group got other fruit flavors and ended up loving it. Their ice creams are fresh and natural ingredients. I was impressed by the wide selections that they had including coconut and tamarind. They had popsicles and even soft ice cream. Oh and they even offer drinks and snacks as well. The ladies there were welcoming and friendly. I think we only paid $6 for 4 ice creams! We even bought one for our driver. The shop is nothing fancy, They don't really have a spot for you to sit down or anything. It's more of a grab and go type of spot. Overall, La Flor is a solid Mexican ice cream shop and is worth checking out. read more

We made a pit stop for a couple of paletas here. I chose the mango pineapple with chamoy and my friend opted for the guava one. These treats were made with real fruit, so it's like eating the real thing. The guava one was hard to eat, since there were seeds in the popsicle. I was walking around the downtown Cozmel with my friend. We were thirsty and this little shop looked good. My friend tried coconut flavor ice pop and I had pineapple with chili. She enjoyed the coconut so much and she said it was one of the best coconut ice cream she had tried. Mine was also good and something a little Mexican. But if you don't like spicy, I wouldn't recommend to try this one. It was quite spicy. I wish this little ice cream shop was in Miami too!! read more

I don't know if the location is right, but I went to a different branch about a block off the plaza in March 2018; google maps and yelp are both pretty inaccurate for Cozumel, but Google does accurately place the one off the plaza. I was so happy to finally find this place after looking for dessert of the ice cream variety both online and by wandering for a fair bit of time. They have probably 30 different flavors of fresh popsicle, from rum to dragonfruit to crushed cookie. Some are just fruit, some are milk-based. They cost less than a dollar, and are very refreshing, and obviously it's quick. The staff are helpful, and while a list would probably make sense, they patiently list and point out all of the many flavors. They also have fresh juice-based drinks. It's open-air, and they have some tables inside. I expected more ice cream places in town, but there aren't all that many, at least not findable online, so this was a very welcome find. read more

The ice cream from here is so fresh and tasty! We found this place one block from the plaza. I have the mango ice cream or sorbet. It tasted just like real mango and had bits of fruit throughout. Only 25 peso for a small. Definitely recommend this little hole in the wall! read more

I went with another yelpers advice and got the coconut ice cream Popsicle and yes it was the best coconut palata I've ever had! As I ate it I couldn't help but wonder about all the other fantastic flavors I'm sure they have and how sad I am that it took me until my last night to find this place! they had this mango sorbet swirled with chili ice that looked incredible so I power walked it back there (not because I was trying to be fit and burn off some of these calories but because I feared they might close) . After I got my sorbet (for 20 pesos! 20! I just paid $4.50 for a Mexican palata from a stand in New York last week) I briefly contemplated sitting there in case I wanted to buy another but fortunately it was too hot and I had to leave! .... The sorbet was great for the first few bites, but I was over it after that... Perhaps because it was my second or because it was a little too rich/sweet.
