Great little Mexican spot which also has a bakery and convenience store. Strange combo but it works. The food is fantastic! I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas. The sauce had a slight kick/heat to it which I really liked. Grab a drink from the cooler and a bakery item from the back area. Sit inside or outside. OMG delicious taqueria style tacos. Really flavorful, the tortillas had that handmade texture. The bakery is not to be missed, my cookie was as big as my head and absolutely delicious. Huge dirt parking lot was a nice place to park my rig and walk my horse around before getting back on the road. read more

Strange set up with burrito shop, store snd bakery into one but it was really awesome experience. The burritos were super cheap but no salsa or chips. We asked for guacamole but they didn have any so the lady said she'll make us some and just charged us $1 for the avocado. Hella goooood! read more

I've been eating La Fortuna's food for 20 years. I'm never disappointed. Sometimes it's better than others but it's always worth it if you're in the mood for Mexican food. Best to order to go and take to a quiet park or someplace with fewer flies (depending on the time of year). read more

Definitely a hole in the wall kinda place. the burrito, torta, and tacos were cheap and delicious! Don't expect to get one of those neat and clean burritos like chipotle gives you. The inside of these burritos are delicious meat cheese beans and rice. read more

Small combination taqueria and bakery just off I-5. The lengua, carnitas, and adobada were all served on fresh made tortillas and were flavorful. The Adobada stood out in particular. Make sure to check out the room of Pan Dulce in the attached store! read more

Driving down the 5 from Seattle, we stayed in Williams for the night. We're always on the lookout for authentic tasty Mexican food and after reading the reviews for La Fortuna, we decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed...great carne asada burrito. Yes oh yes, the tacos, conchas and pretty much anything out of this place is well worth the cheap price you pay. If you do eat outside remember that there are a lot of flies in Williams, however there is seating inside. A great place to recharge on your road trip. read more

We were really hungry. Had driven from Redwood Nat. Park across CA20 on our way to Sacramento. Got off at Williams at Yelped. First choice... out of business. Hmmmm... Second choice turned out to be a butcher shop. Not on our place for lunch list. So on to La Fortuna. We thought it'd be just ok. But... this was wonderful. Not your local chain Mexican food. Wow - we NEVER would have stopped her had it not been for these reviews. The menu is limited, and not Americanized (our kids did not like it), but we had both the chicken and beef tacos - they were wonderful - and SO CHEAP! The people were so nice, fluent english, and very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone passing through. read more

Food is good way over priced and not worth it. Customer service is really bad. I mean I have seen the owners wife loose her mind and yell at customers. Usually they have minors at the register working which don't know anything. read more
