My husband and I just stopped in at the Crown and it was wonderful! It just started snowing here and we were able to sit in the window seat to watch the snow fall outside. The inside of the restaurant has a really rustic feel to it, and they had some good indie tunes playing in the background, which made for good ambience. The service was very fast, and we had our food within 10 minutes. We both had one of the breakfast burritos, a mimosa, and split a chocolate croissant. All of the food was really delicious and you can tell that it was made in house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting! read more

This hit the spot! After a morning hike, breakfast was amazing here. The burrito, that was smothered in green chili sauce was to die for! The bagel was soft, tender, and toasted to perfection. The lattes were delicious. Their espresso beans that they use had a great flavor, not bitter at all. The staff were nice and the food came out pretty quickly. What a cool place to spent breakfast! Needed a pick me up in the morning, and walked into this space, it's a cozy lottle spot. Ordered the spicy chai and the Magnum breakfast sandwich. The staff was friendly and got our orders out quickly. The magnum sandwich was good and decently filling. They weren't kidding about the spicy chai, it had enough heat to burn the back of my throat. This is a delightful coffee shop that also serves cocktails. The ambiance is that of a cute coffee, with cozy seating inside, but it's also hip enough that it transitions well for a nighttime hangout. The homemade pastries are huge and extremely reasonably priced, especially for an area that attracts many tourists, and so are the drinks. My friends and I all got hot drinks to walk around with at night, and they were all delicious. Service was very friendly, and if you're a local, you can get a little discount. Went into The Crown while in Breck for a quick coffee and wow, it was slammed! This tells me good things for the next time I go back to visit. They have a huge selection of items to choose from such as coffee, hot boozy drinks, cocktails, breakfast, snacks and many nonalcoholic options. The coffee I ordered was pretty good and I'd definitely go back to try other menu items. We visited this place twice during our time in Breckenridge! The first time was a Friday, it was really busy and we took our drinks to go. The second time was a Sunday morning right at 9 am--with most folks heading to the slopes we were able to get a seat and enjoy the adorable holiday decor and cozy atmosphere. We didn't wait long at all in line. We placed our order and sat at a high top while it was prepared; we could easily see them working on it and enjoyed overhearing them discuss skiing/the general camaraderie. We also really appreciated that once they saw us sit down they gave us our drinks in cute cups without us having to ask. The coffee itself was good! Not the best we have ever had, but still really solid and reasonably priced especially for a downtown touristy area. My husband's cappuccino was insanely hot but that's better than too cold! My iced vanilla latte with almond milk was made well and not too sweet. We also grabbed some bagel sandwiches which were solid. No qualms with The Crown from me! Came here for an afternoon pick-me-up and got a Cubano Latte which was quite tasty. My husband had a chai and said it hit the spot. We didn't get any food but the options looked good and they've also got boozey drinks if you're feeling spicy. Love that they have some cute locally made knick-knacks for sale - gives you something to look at while waiting for your order, too. Nice decor overall. Staff was friendly and there is a good amount of seating - both indoors and outside - with some variety. It can get pretty busy and if I remember correctly, some tables have a time limit. The Crown was the perfect morning stop along Main Street to escape some light rain and relax during our Breckenridge day trip. We found ourselves sitting in some comfortable chairs next to a low lit fake fire place, sipping some delicious espresso martinis they call the Summer Jolt that were bold and strong. Staff were friendly and jovial even with a big crowd also escaping the light rain. The coffee, adult beverage, and food menus are large and diverse. I really like The Crown because it goes beyond just your usual coffee shop experience; it is what I always envisioned I'd do if I had my own coffee shop. It is a warm, cozy space where you can hide from the cold and either order something sweet, a coffee, or, if you are so inclined, a beer or a glass of wine. I can't speak to the food here beyond the ice cream and baked goods which my kids love. It probably wouldn't be my go-to as a morning breakfast spot, but it is pretty perfect outside of that. This place is super chill and the food is good. Went on a rainy Saturday evening and had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch, so good! This cafe is another great stop along main street (and only a few doors down from The Large Green Coffee Chain - support local!!). First off they have an amazing selection of merch. Mugs, to go cups, coffee, stickers, etc. All really well done and would make great gifts. The barista was very nice and accommodating. I wanted to get 12 ounces of coffee in a 16 ounce cup so I could add my protein shake in it, and she charged me for a 12 ounce coffee but gave me a 16 ounce cup even though it is self-pour station. I do appreciate the trust! They had 3 different types of coffee out which all looked great, but I opted for the one that had cherry and chocolate notes. Yum! My husband got a hot chocolate with whipped cream and said it was amazing. The service was quick, but still gave us time to check out their merch. There was seating inside though it was busy on a Sunday morning, but it was cozy. We got it to go and walked around main street some more. I was craving a nice afternoon dirty chai, and I came across The Crown on Yelp. Something about it called my name, like a voice in the back of my head telling me that I would be very happy if I went to The Crown. I'd like to give a high-five to that voice. I am extremely picky about my chai, and this chai was in the top 2 best chai's I've ever had. It was spicy but not overwhelming, and the espresso shot was strong enough to do its job but not to overtake the flavor of the chai. My family tried the Breckenridge coffee and the Irish coffee, and instantly fell in love. Day 2 we all ordered Breckenridge coffees and Tootsie rolls. Day 3 we ordered teas. Ginger peach, earl grey, and English breakfast. Each was incredible. We all left each visit to The Crown with exactly what we were dreaming about. Absolutely no complaints. read more

The black coffee was good per my husband but we both tried the espresso and wow. Super burnt. Not edible at all. Unfortunately, we had to throw it away. The shop is small and cozy. What a little gem of a cafe in Breckenridge. I have been to a Breck many times but never stopped her until today. I just went in for a latte and relaxation. After a long day of walking around we needed a little pick me up. We decided on The Crown. When you walk up the stairs you are greeted by some pleasant smells of what's inside. On our visit it was really busy. The line was quick moving but seating is limited so if you see a spot snag it! We wound up at a high top in the corner. There were playing some pretty mellow alternative mix music. The drinks came out pretty quick. I had a lavender London Fog. It was amazing! Creamy and not too sweet. I would certainly recommend it.
