The activities didn't focus much on skills of either sport. Lots of silly things like making them pick up balls and putting them in a basket-- things that seemed to just kill time. The coach was kind and helpful to all the kids though. I'm sure he was just following their curriculum. The company itself is hard to reach. I've emailed them twice and left a couple voicemails that were never returned. There was one weekend where our session was cancelled due to the park having an event. We were never given a make up for that lost day nor a refund. I'm unable to get a hold of them. Update: The owner kindly reached out to me and informed me that there was a change in management that caused the lack of communication. He generously offered some make ups which I will take him up on. Hopefully our next session will be an improvement.

I've communicated with him on multiple occasions, and he is truly someone to be impressed with. Not only is he a driven young entrepreneur, but he uses his talents, his vision, and his personal opportunities to mentor others along the way. Angel is respectful, intelligent, ambitious, and genuinely committed to uplifting his community. I'm rooting for him to continue growing and doing amazing things; he is exactly the kind of leader we need more of. In September, I hosted my nephew's birthday party at FIT, located on the first floor of the South Bay Galleria, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment I reached out, Angel was patient and incredibly helpful--answering all my questions, guiding me through the planning, and making sure I felt supported all the way until the party was over. The party itself was fantastic. The kids (ages 11-13) enjoyed free play on the turf, and Angel and his staff member even jumped in to lead games and keep the energy high. We brought our own food, cake, and a few decorations, and everything flowed smoothly. The space was clean, well-managed, and perfectly set up for an active, fun-filled celebration. Most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast and were talking about it long after the party ended. Angel and his team were attentive, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about what they do. A note to fellow customers: These guys work extremely hard to create a great experience for everyone. I made sure to tip them and offer food during the party, and I encourage anyone who is able to do the same. A little generosity goes a long way in supporting a small business that's pouring so much heart into the community. FIT is a gem, and Angel is a standout. They don't speak to your children with respect. There is constant berating and talking down to children. A child in the class asked a reasonable question and the instructor responded sarcastically. The instructors clearly expect the children to misbehave and believe punishment and threats is the way to get what they want. It reminded me of a boot camp with drill sergeants, which is not something I want for any young child. 2. It's chaotic. They split the class into 3 stations with different instructors. They don't clearly explain the drills and then punish children for doing it wrong. Going pack to the previous point, they intentionally don't or are incapable of answering the children's questions properly, which further confuses the children. Also, one of the instructors brings her two young children, the younger of which cries and demands her attention during the session. She eventually picks her child up and tries rocking the child to sleep while attempting to do basketball drills with the students. I thought this was a one-off but its happened week after week. 3. They end the class with a silly chant. Needless to say, we cut our losses and stopped going. I didn't want my kid to hate basketball.

There are plenty of fields and having indoor space is valuable. That's about where my praise ends. The biggest problem is the coaching. Youth soccer should be about development. Teaching fundamentals, correcting mistakes, building confidence and making sure every child gets meaningful instruction. Instead, the quality depends almost entirely on which coach your child gets. Some are engaged. Others seem distracted, chatting with each other while the session runs itself. Too many practices turn into kids standing around or playing small scrimmages with very little coaching, correction or individual feedback. Parents aren't paying to rent field space. They're paying for instruction. The environment doesn't help. Parking is consistently frustrating, the building gets uncomfortably hot and the indoor fields often have that stale turf smell that hits you the moment you walk in. The front desk also sets the wrong tone. Most visits start with staff sitting behind the counter without so much as a greeting or acknowledgment. For a place built around families and young kids, that's disappointing. One thing that continues to surprise me is how little attention is paid to what's happening around the active classes. I've regularly seen parents, older siblings and other family members juggling balls and kicking them around right next to training sessions. It's distracting for the kids who are actually there to learn and no one seems interested in managing it. What frustrates me most is that this carries the LA Galaxy name. You expect a higher standard of coaching, organization and professionalism. Instead, it feels inconsistent from top to bottom. If you happen to get one of the good coaches, you'll probably have a positive experience. If you don't, you've simply lost weeks or months of development. For a program representing one of the biggest soccer brands in America, "hopefully you get a good coach" shouldn't be the business model.

Made it up the smaller wall and we signed up for Flips & Tricks classes. The staff is THE BEST. My son has difficulty making/keeping friends and "doesn't like to talk to grownups", but he loves the staff here. As a middle-aged mom, I would call the coaches themselves "kods" because they are at least half my age, but they are AMAZING with my son. He "got hurt" his first class and yelled/cried, but the coaches let him have his feelings, got him ice, and taught him how to avoid that situation in the future. After only 2 official classes and 2 longer events, my son has more confidence and says that he "loves the coaches". Hopefully he will make some friends his own age soon too because they have the same love of literally jumping off walls. The instructors were engaging and fun, and the classes decently structured. The classes are by level, not age. Open gym time is also offered and they frequently have fun weekend night time events, like nerf gun parties. Located inside the now struggling South Bay Galleria near the Macy's. Easy entrance from both the Macy's and the Q LUV side entrance. We unfortunately had to move again unexpectedly and the staff were very accommodating with figuring out how I can use the remaining classes I had already paid for the month. We wish we could have continued to come to the fun parkour classes here. My kids always got a great workout and left nice and sweaty. Thank you so much!
