The activities didn't focus much on skills of either sport. Lots of silly things like making them pick up balls and putting them in a basket-- things that seemed to just kill time. The coach was kind and helpful to all the kids though. I'm sure he was just following their curriculum. The company itself is hard to reach. I've emailed them twice and left a couple voicemails that were never returned. There was one weekend where our session was cancelled due to the park having an event. We were never given a make up for that lost day nor a refund. I'm unable to get a hold of them. Update: The owner kindly reached out to me and informed me that there was a change in management that caused the lack of communication. He generously offered some make ups which I will take him up on. Hopefully our next session will be an improvement.

Tiny Kicks has had a positive influence on him, on and off the field. Having watched the kids scrimmage often on Wednesdays, I am also pleasantly surprised by how the bar has been raised for the entire group over the last two years. It went to a lady who casually answered as if I called her personal cell phone and then she scrambled to get another number for me to reach LA Elite. I called the alternative number and left a voicemail. A week later, no response. I call back the original number and a guy answers, he rushes me off the phone before I could say 5 words and tells me to send an email to ask, he doesn't have time to answer my question and too much is going on right now. I take down the email address and send an email. I never heard back. Following the instructions on the Groupon I decide to print the voucher and go up to the facility at the designated time for my son's age group to meet. NO ONE was there. The facility was locked, there wasn't one car in the lot. We sat and waited. Then we called again and left a voicemail. No one called back, no one came. We left, my son was disappointed, and I came home and requested a refund from Groupon. This was a horrible ordeal that ended up disappointing my son and clearly they must be fraudulent or do not need the business. LA Elite has lost us as a customer and being involved in several larger basketball communities I plan to spread the word. I am also disappointed that Groupon had not vetted their affiliate enough and the outcome was poor service, poor communication, and a loss of customers. I do not recommend them to any who is serious about the sport, their child's feelings, and their money because they are not serious about any of these things.

Our youngest daughter wanted to start with her older sister and ended up playing 9 years with Sunshine. She was more than prepared for high school volleyball and college (D1) volleyball. And she's 5' 5", so short girls play volleyball too. Sunshine is run by Cari and Lou Ann who between them have decades of experience growing this Club to the highest levels. They have trusting relationships with college coaches. The Sunshine coaches stay and provide consistency and confidence in the program. The girls truly LEARN the sport. There all levels of teams for every age group. They have a college recruitment coordinator. The training is the best! I loved how their practices were augmented by the plyos training on the beach. They travel all over the US for best tournaments and teams compete against the top teams in the country. And because of all of the togetherness and travel, the relationships formed between the girls are amazing and wonderful and lifelong. My daughter is a Junior in college and she still hangs tough with her Sunshine teammates when she comes home on breaks. And as close as the girls are, the parents' "meetings" are legendary. I remember wondering whose party is this really? One last thing- the uniforms!! Unquestionably the best in the country! O.K. Not that important, but still. The club referred her to me, and Saskia contacted me directly. From that very first email all the way through scheduling -- across 8 messages back and forth -- her rate of $120/hour was never mentioned. Not once. As a single father, every decision I make for my daughter is calculated. I don't have unlimited resources, and opportunities like this are not something we take lightly. My daughter is an independent studies student who also takes physical education as part of her school curriculum. We made the conscious decision to pull her out of her scheduled school day -- time she would have otherwise spent with her peers in a real PE class -- to attend this 1:30 PM session at the time Saskia said worked for her. That sacrifice meant something to us. When we arrived, I had to be the one to ask what the session even was -- a consultation, an assessment, actual training? Only then did Saskia reveal her $120/hour rate. Had I not asked, she would have proceeded and I would have owed $120 for a session whose cost was never disclosed at any point during our entire conversation. What hurt most was watching my daughter walk away from that interaction with her emotions dismissed and no acknowledgment of what we gave up to be there. No sympathy. No accountability. Just a rate dropped on us at the door like our time had no value. As a single dad doing everything I can to give my daughter the same opportunities other kids have, that stings deeply. This is not how professional coaching works. Our time was not respected, our circumstances were not considered, and another family almost got blindsided by a $120 bill with zero warning. I've communicated with him on multiple occasions, and he is truly someone to be impressed with. Not only is he a driven young entrepreneur, but he uses his talents, his vision, and his personal opportunities to mentor others along the way. Angel is respectful, intelligent, ambitious, and genuinely committed to uplifting his community. I'm rooting for him to continue growing and doing amazing things; he is exactly the kind of leader we need more of. In September, I hosted my nephew's birthday party at FIT, located on the first floor of the South Bay Galleria, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment I reached out, Angel was patient and incredibly helpful--answering all my questions, guiding me through the planning, and making sure I felt supported all the way until the party was over. The party itself was fantastic. The kids (ages 11-13) enjoyed free play on the turf, and Angel and his staff member even jumped in to lead games and keep the energy high. We brought our own food, cake, and a few decorations, and everything flowed smoothly. The space was clean, well-managed, and perfectly set up for an active, fun-filled celebration. Most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast and were talking about it long after the party ended. Angel and his team were attentive, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about what they do. A note to fellow customers: These guys work extremely hard to create a great experience for everyone. We did a one hour private, within 20 min of our private my daughter nailed it!!! Coach Abby was able to identify the problem, make some adjustments to her form and she nailed it! I could not be more thrilled of this instructor who took the time to get to know my daughter on a personal level and make her feel comfortable and silly but also know how to change tunes and when to focus. Flight school was a very clean gym, clean bathrooms, ladies at the desk were very friendly. You can tell the students who are currently enrolled at this gymnasium have been there a long time and truly love what they do at this facility. Thank you flight school!
