    Half size chicken pot pie.

My husband took me here for my birthday and we both loved it. He had the special which was a ribeye with a glaze and I had the small pot pie. He said the ribeye was perfectly seasoned, perfectly prepared, very tender and delicious. I enjoyed my pot pie but will try something different next time. I think I've developed a slight aversion to certain herbs that routinely go into pot pies so that's on me. The presentation for both dishes was classy, We enjoyed a wonderful key lime pie for dessert which I would strongly recommend for key lime pie lovers. Our server, Michael, was kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us prompt service. We both loved the ambiance... very romantic place in a historic building with lots of decorations and flowers. This is now our favorite romantic restaurant in Stuart.

I really enjoyed this place, beautiful inside and outside entrance reminded me of the movie The Secret Garden. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We went for dinner with reservations just in case. They have a nice bar and huge sitting area located in what used to be a Post Office Arcade. The building was very antique and had this smell that fit perfectly with the rest. You don't have to come overdressed (fancy). Food was fresh and delicious. I ordered the braised beef ribs based on Yelp reviews as a popular dish there, meat was so tender and full of flavor. I got to sample a few of my other listed dinners that my family ordered and it was good. The Chicken lacked a little flavor for me the noodles were overpowering the lemon sauce and would have requested more cheese to go with it. The appetizers delicious. Would definitely go back.

Oh my goodness, talk about a literal hidden gem! I'm pretty sure this place has been around for a while but it was only on my most recent hometown visit that I managed a visit. The entryway is just lovely and even a little easy to miss if you aren't looking. It feels like it's a semi-tropical French, if I had to name the aesthetic - love it! It seems like they keep pretty busy on a Sunday brunch schedule, but we luckily still got a table as a walk-in. They have a few mocktails on the menu, and they also prepare them with nice presentation, which is always so nice! For food, we split a few appetizers, including a flatbread and the avocado bruschetta. That one was my favorite by far! I can't wait for my next holiday hometown visit so I can come again!

Friends and I came La Grande Martier for brunch to celebrate some of their birthdays for the second year in a row. I've been here a few times now, but we had the absolute best waiter, Keith, who made this experience one of my favorites here! The place is cute and eclectic, at the end of a little alleyway in downtown Stuart, it doubles as a bar at night and restaurant during the day. To drink, I had the unlimited mimosas for $20. Out with the girls and having a ride to and from, I took full advantage of the opportunity to try all of the flavors: orange, strawberry, guava, pineapple, mango, blackberry, and peach! I didn't end up trying them all, but with the best waiter (Keith) who suggested some neat flavor ideas, I did get to try i(n order of favorite): blackberry, guava, guava peach, mango, peach mango, and strawberry pineapple. They were all yummy and they are all served in wine glasses (they are very generous sizes) so if you drink more than 2 it's definitely worth it. All other drinks were less than $10 so they must have some sort of happy hour brunch specials. For food, the sampler platter had a crab cake (very good and one of their signature dishes), croque monsieur (ham & cheese in a puff pastry), steak taco (a tad sweet), croquettes, and tomato bisque (thick and flavorful). All were pretty good, but are also ordered by most favorite to least. Several friends had the crab cake Benedict and loved it. That, along with the shrimp & grits are said to be the best brunch entrees, but I'm indecisive so the sampler platter is a great solution to that! All in all, it's a great place for brunch, especially if you plan to treat yourself to any brunch drinks.

The food was amazing, and the staff and manager were very welcoming. This is a beautiful historical setting restaurant with live entertainment. Our server Tommy was phenomenal and he made our experience very memorable with his attention and knowledge of the menu. Highly recommend this place, best shrimp and grits we ever had. Brunch service and bottomless mimosas were on point. We found our new favorite restaurant to celebrate special occasions.

Had an amazing time, food was great, drinks were fun, staff was phenomenal, and we were happily surprised to be there for the monthly ghost tour! The building is very unique and original Florida, and the bar in the front is such a vibe.

Whenever I want to impress a crowd for a special occasion I know I can rely on La Grande Martier to take it to the next level. This was the 3rd business holiday dining event I have coordinated at this location and they never disappoint. The decor in the hearth room is cozy, classy and unlike any other setting in the area and it really shines during the holidays. We had a great local pianist playing in the background. The management and the chef were communicative and accommodating every step of the way. The wait staff were excellent. Guests were so impressed with the diversity of the menu items and many who had not been here before said they would be coming back to dine again.

I would have preferred wonton chips or tortilla chips. We also had the crab fritters, these were delicious and plentiful for two people and the Burrata salad. We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The owner stopped by our table, to ask how we liked it. He was gracious and told us his story how he bought the placed and design a menu along with the Chef. That was a plus. They also have music for dinner. Parking is street. The Tram goes around and it will leave you at this restaurant from the large parking lot. It ended up being a great find! The restaurant is spacious with huge windows overlooking the water, which I absolutely loved. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The clams were served inside a bread-like pastry. My husband especially enjoyed that part, while I skipped the bread and dug right into the clams--they were fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and just as good. One unexpected bit of entertainment came from the couple seated next to us. It sounded like they were on a first date, and while I certainly wasn't trying to eavesdrop, they were talking so loudly it was impossible not to overhear! They seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it added a lighthearted touch to our lunch. Hope springs eternal! Overall, I was very happy with both our meal and the beautiful waterfront setting. I'd definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through Stuart. The only thing that gave me pause was the dinner menu, which looked a bit pricey, but for lunch this was a very enjoyable stop. You don't need a reservation for lunch so that was a plus. A Meal So Good Heaven Might Ask About It…read more Some dinners fill you up. Some dinners impress you. And then there are dinners like the one we had at Chef's Table in Stuart--the kind of meal that feels like it was designed by someone who understands that food is more than nourishment... it's memory. We went to celebrate my son's birthday, and before the first bite even arrived, the experience had already begun. The menus were printed with "Happy Birthday" and his name, a small but thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire evening. It felt personal, intentional--like the night had been prepared just for him. And then the food arrived. I ordered the Bolognese, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the kind of dish you quietly pause for after the first bite. Rich, layered, perfectly balanced--every strand of pasta coated in a sauce that tasted like it had been simmering since the Renaissance. Comforting but refined. Rustic but elegant. It was the sort of plate where conversation stops for a moment because everyone is too busy appreciating what's happening. Across the table, the beef Wellington was a masterpiece. Perfectly pink at the center, wrapped in golden pastry that shattered delicately with each cut, surrounded by a sauce so good it deserved its own applause. The entire meal felt like one of those rare experiences where craft, hospitality, and atmosphere align perfectly. The lighting, the pacing of the courses, the warmth of the service--it all made the night feel like something special was unfolding. If someone told me this would be my last meal on Earth, I wouldn't complain. In fact, I'd probably smile knowing that when I got to the gates, the angels might lean over and ask: "Wait... was it really as good as they say?" And I'd tell them the truth. Yes. It absolutely was. Thank you to the team at Chef's Table for giving my son a birthday dinner we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

The menu is an absolute joke as there is a lot of fill on what they serve you but both my wife I chose the burger as it was the most likely to interpret what I'm ordering. One it came after about an 1 -1 1/2 hours the burger was ok and fry's looked like it was fried in old oil. They were cold and for the money it was not worth it. I think a Macdonald Big Mac would have tasted better at a fraction of the cost. $27 for a burger, cold fries and a small milk shake which I couldn't understand that addition. While sitting at the table I am getting dripped on by the AC duct as that portion is in front of the door opening and with humid air coming in hitting that cold duct it was condensation and dripping on the patrons. In this case me. The server was terrible in my opinion and didn't really cater to many of our needs but the restaurant feels obligated to charge 20% gratuities of 6 people or more. Now I understand that concept as foreign people don't tip like in their country or none at all but that is where the problem is. If a server is good or bad they still are get their tip and in this case there was no incentive for good service. If I am paying $27 for a burger and fries that server better attend to my needs quickly and efficiently. Not sure if I ever will return to this restaurant as it left a bad taste. I usually go by the baseball rule 1 2 3 strikes your out but what brought me over to 3 strikes is the stupid menu and pricing. I think I will make my own dinner at home and bring it to the causeway for a better view and cheaper food and much better food.
