They do have a drink vending machine and also a snack vending machine for those late night munchies. Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing stay. My only qualm would be the hall noise. After settling into our room, we went out to grab dinner. When we returned, we asked the front desk for paper plates and cutlery. They directed us to the hotel restaurant, where we stood for about 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Frustrated, we gave up and returned to the room. When I sat on the edge of the bed to eat, the box spring snapped and I fell to the floor. The bed frames are too small to properly support the mattress. We were moved to a new room, but the experience didn't improve much. In the new room, the bathtub had hair all over it -- absolutely disgusting. Later, we took our child to the pool, only to find it littered with used towels and even a band-aid on the floor. When we asked the front desk for fresh pool towels, we were told they didn't have any left and that a manager had been called. At that point, I couldn't help but wonder where the cleaning or maintenance staff were, as the area clearly needed attention. We ended up walking back to our room dripping wet. The beds were uncomfortable, making sleep difficult, and the TV barely worked -- channels kept skipping and eventually we just turned it off. To top it all off, when we checked out the next morning, the elevator smelled like someone had just vomited in it. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Overall, this was a very poor experience. We will never stay here again. Next time, we'll choose one of the nearby hotels -- even if they don't have a pool.

The moment I opened the door I was greeted with a musty, moist scent. Now, I travel with room spray in case something like this happens, but it gets you worried about mold. The clock in my room was an hour behind, and I honestly thought I might have crossed into another time zone. Can it actually be that the room hadn't been used since daylight savings? The ginormous vat of oatmeal was a no go, having been reduced to a congealed layer. Cereal then? Maybe not-- there was about a half inch of milk sitting out in a carton on the counter. We were kept up until three in the morning due to loud guests in the room next to us. These guests were regularly slamming doors when entering and exiting the room every few minutes, having speakerphone conversations in the hall, and allowing non-guests in and out of the building. Not to mention, the walls are paper thin so we could hear everything they were saying. When we politely mentioned that our neighbors had been disruptive upon checkout, the front desk individual very curtly responded that we should have told them sooner. While we certainly understand this, such a defensive response caught us off guard. Even a simple, "We're sorry to hear that. Thank you for letting us know, though we do hope you'll notify us sooner next time," would have been appreciated. We also shared that there were several vehicles loitering in the lot well past midnight with people regularly exiting and entering the building, to which the response was, "How are we supposed to know who comes and goes." It's clear there is very little regard for guest safety and security which is incredibly alarming. We have since filled out the survey where this was noted, only for the property manager to respond that they don't have any safety issues because law enforcement is nearby (see photo). I understand this is a budget hotel, but such dismissive customer service is unacceptable, especially when legitimate concerns are raised. I dislike writing such poor reviews but I will never be returning here and hope this helps others looking to book a hotel in the area.

Our backup to it didn't have a 2 bed option open by then, so, here we are. checked in at 10pm on Fri Oct3, with parents in tow. We booked a King Deluxe Studio Suite for us ($111ttl) & were assigned room 105. We booked Standard 2 Double Bed ($96) for the parents & noted difficulty walking long distances. On check-in, they were upgraded to a 2 Double Bed with kitchen, room 101, first room on the right. It's fantastic that they paid attention to that, as my father had a stroke a while back & is determined not to use a walker or wheelchair, only a cane. There were no odd odors, aside from the scent of a fresh dinner delivery that walked in just before us. The rooms were reasonably clean & in fair condition. There are some good-sized chips in the paint. It could use a refreshing. At this price tho, I can handle some dinged up walls! I found staff to be friendly and accommodating. We met the parents for breakfast in the morning. At check out, the morning staff were equally friendly- I'd absolutely stay here again. We are platinum members with Wyndham & booked directly without using points.
