Visited this bakery for the first time after a Facebook group couldn't stop mentioning this place for their Tres leches cake. Nothing fancy but a straightforward bakery with breads, cakes and pastries. There's a private parking lot so parking wasn't an issue. The tres leches here is spot on and so fresh with different flavor options! I can't believe it took me 5 plus years to discover this place! Definitely going to drive 25mins one way whenever I'm craving some fresh tres leches as this is definitely the best one around. read more

I stopped by the bakery before noon on Tuesday, September 16 and asked for biscochos. They were delicious!! They were not in the display case, but when I asked for them, they had them in the back. They were so fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back at this bakery. read more

All I can review from this place is the tres leches cake. I've had it twice at birthday parties, and it is delicious. It is the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. My friend that orders the cakes says she usually only has to order them a few days in advance and they are reasonably priced. They also sell Mexican breads in store for about 30cents a piece. Customer service can be a hit or mess as I've had good customer service and rude service as well. Everyone agrees... the customer service sucks but the cakes are great. You can't ask questions because they get offended, but again, the cakes are delicious. Dont even think about taking your own design. They have time frames, and even for simple designs, they will not accommodate you. It can be a stick figure, and they will say you're too late. This last time I tried to ask for a specific design which it wasn't hard to do. Apparently the cake needs to have a border and it could only be one color. If I'm paying for a design that I want, and I'm showing it to you... tell me upfront if you Can or Cannot make it! That way I don't waste my time and I start to look for another bakery. Since I didn't want a one color border, I told her to pattern it with the colors they were going to use for the flowers. She said no because it can only be one color and they were not going to have time to do what is was going to pay for. They weren't going to be able to do the flowers in the picture nor put the rim. So I needed a birthday cake for a party the day after Cinco de Mayo. I stopped by a week ahead and ordered the 1/4 sheet pan Tres Leche cake with caramel filling, plus a dozen sugar cookie/ spice cookies. So good news bad news here. Bad news-The cookies were absolutely awful. We tried them before the party. Dry and tasteless- they literally sucked all moisture from our mouths. We threw them away. We thought... how hard is it to bake a basic sugar cookie?! My husband ran out and bought a back-up Tuxedo cake from Costco.. just in case the Tres Leche cake was also terrible. Good news... holy smokes. Best cake we have eaten in years. Moist and delicious. I screen shot the name of this bakery to numerous guests. My advice... stop baking cookies! I would definitely would recommend this place! We got my wedding cake from here and even the caterers at the venue are asking me where did I get my wedding cake from! The owner is very friendly and helpful! They also have reasonable prices compared to other places! And their cakes are in breads are so delicious!! I wish I had a picture of the wedding cake! There cakes are so delicious! The only issue I had was that they promote to come a week before you need a cake to place an order for a custom cake, I went 3 weeks prior and was told no custom order could be put in for the date I wanted. I was only able to put an order for their selection of decorated cake. Definitely recommend 10/10 for taste and good service! read more

Always come for Tres Leches cake, they have so many different flavors (piña colada, pecan, original, peach and I think strawberry too). They sell different sizes too so you don't need to buy a huge cake if you just want a couple bites they sell personal, medium and large size. No cake & ruined my birthday dinner. I could give it zero stars I would. It's unfortunate that I even have to come on here and leave a review. My birthday was on Thursday, my boyfriend place a cake order days in advance. We were in for my cake will be ready Thursday for my birthday dinner we received no call we called all day no answer that same day on Thursday 20 minutes before they are closing they called us to come pick up the cake when we were already out at dinner. And when she called and told us at the time my boyfriend and said well I'll just have someone pick it up tomorrow. But we left town early that morning on Friday for my birthday vacation I called as we got back into town to get our money reimbursed they said they would not refund us being that we said we would come get it after all on Friday but it was supposed to be prepared and ready Thursday before our dinner. The place smelled wonderful! There were some completed cakes already. The owner was very helpful in telling me how many they serve and what my options were. Best tres leches cake! Cake and frosting is not too sweet. I drive over 40 minutes just to buy cake for my special occasions. They are super good and inexpensive. I have heard from other people that the customer service is not great but I have never had an issue or felt like I was not taken care of. This bakery saved the day for us!! Ordered a cake off of Instagram and it was a disaster. I had purchased the tree leches cakes and sweet bread here before so they were this was the first place that came to mind. Went to La Guadalupana a few hours before the party and they were able and willing to help us. They made a four tier cake for my nieces sweet sixteen super last minute. I was searching for a tres leches cake for my sisters baby shower. I stumbled across this bakery while searching online, but hesitated to get the cake from there , upon reading the reviews on customer service . I didn't want to deal with shitty customer service but my aunt told me to just go in since she goes there weekly and that I would be very satisfied lf I tried it. Walking into the little small bakery there was already people in and out it seem crowded so it must've been a good place I thought . Liz attended us quickly after she was done with other customers. She asked us how she could help us and what kind of cake we would like and the details and flavors my sister wanted, very kind not rushed and with genuine knowledge of cakes. She was very friendly. After ordering the cake we also bought some yummy Mexican bread treats to try. They were absolutely original flavor and you could tell they're better then the major food city market or bigger retail market. Since they're made in smaller batches. Then the cake a week later was absolutely delicious ! Everyone complemented the tres leches cakes. I would really recommend for the flavor and knowledge of yummy Mexican cakes.
