Pan & Pan. Bread thoughts. Fresh and delicious all the way round. They have Mexican products and all the childhood goods. I have been coming here for years and it's always soooo good. I love the quick service and the colorful paintings all the way around. The fact the pan dulce and bolillo is made fresh daily and hourly. You can't go wrong with this Mesa treasure. Definitely must and enjoy the pan dulce.

Don't let the exterior fool you--this place is a gem. It's a true panadería, carnicería, and a go-to spot for comida preparada (takeout food). I'm here pretty much every weekend, and for good reason. The panadería is top-tier. My mom swears by their bolillo, and they make racks and racks of it fresh. Their cakes are beautifully traditional, not over-the-top, just classic flavors done right--and the prices? Spot on. I've had my eye on the cajeta cake for a while now. One of my personal favorites? Orejas. They make them perfectly crispy and buttery every time. Their carnicería is worth checking out too. I've had their fresh chorizo, and it's delicious. Their chicharrón? Also really good. And their burritos? Always a solid choice. But honestly, they can make you almost anything. The ladies behind the counter are friendly, but keep in mind--this is a real Mexican market. If you don't speak Spanish, have an idea of what you want so you don't hold up the line. If you're unsure, just let others go ahead of you. If you want authentic Mexican pan dulce, fresh bolillo, quality meats, and homestyle takeout food, this is the spot.

La Estrella Panderia is my number one spot for pan dulce. All the sweet breads you can think they have! From Conchas (the pink my favorite), fruit filled empanadas, puerguitos, custard turnovers, pineapple cake, palmeritas. donuts, and other types of cakes. Your sweet tooth will be loving it! If you are not fluent in Spanish it might be intimidating to order, but the ladies are so friendly and pointing always works outs. I've never had a bad service experience and always walk out with items I've wanted. A friend also has told me in the back they have fresh warm tortillas I will have to try those out soon! If looking for a penaderia, go give La Estrella a try!

Came here today to see what desserts and food they have. In the back area of the store, there is a hot food area including very large chicarons. Huge. Everything looked great. I was tempted to get a whole fried fish as well, they're my favorite. The refrigerated desserts looked tempting but I ended up getting a variety of sweet bakery desserts instead. There are so many choices to choose from and everything looked amazing. I ended up getting desserts filled with cheese, apple, pumpkin, cream, and chorizo. Everything was divine. I will definitely be back to get more desserts soon.

Authentic panaderia in a shop that also sell convenience store items. Also has a carneceria in the back it seems. Limited English when ordering bread so I suggest just picking and choosing what looks good or bring a friend that speaks Spanish. I asked what pastries had apple inside and the woman directed me to their empanadas which was delicious. Also had to get my standard concha which unfortunately was a bit drier than what I've had at other panaderias. Got a slice of flan as well but was a bit too sweet for me. Otherwise a very legit and decent panaderia!

This place reminds me of all the hispanic bakeries in TX! Endless choices, hole in the wall, long lines, great prices. I wasn't a fan of the cream horn but the tres leches was on point. Delicious and a slice only costs $3.99.

I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. Whatever else happened during that visit, those cookies were a VERY good introduction to the bakery. I have not actually been into Rise Up Bakery myself, so this review is based entirely on the delightful and delectable cookies I got to try. There was a sugar cookie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, M&M, and several others. I started by pinching off a little piece of one, then another, and then another. Before long I felt like such a little piggy because I had sampled nearly every cookie in the box. The problem was that every time I tried a new one, it was just as good, if not better, than the one before it. I kept thinking I had found my favorite, only to change my mind with the next bite. And these cookies were BIG hoggers too, probably around 6 inches across. These are not little dainty cookies you mindlessly nibble on. They have some size to them, and thankfully the flavor matches. So while I can't review the bakery itself, the atmosphere, or the service just yet, I can absolutely review the cookies. Based on those alone, Rise Up Bakery has definitely gotten my attention. Four stars for now, and mostly because I feel like I need to actually visit the bakery before handing over the fifth.

Tous Le Jours does a beautiful job of hitting all the right notes. Their pastries are soft, not too sweet (just right), and baked fresh.
