    The classic!

Rolled Out Bakery is so delicious! I went here the other day and tried the raspberry and classic cinnamon rolls and loved both of them! This small family owned business wa so nice and made sure to give me nice and fresh rolls on Saturday. Definitely go Saturday if you can! This market also has other items from other places like knitted toys for kids, chips and salsas and a lot more. I'll definitely be back for more rolls! Definitely check them out!

We tried a classic and pumpkin spice cinnamon roll from Rolled Out at the Gilbert farmers market and they were amazing! I typically eat gluten-free but was willing to try when I saw the Italian flour marketing. I didn't have an immediate physical reaction after eating the cinnamon roll, which was great! The cinnamon rolls tasted phenomenal and the texture and filling and icing ratio were perfect!

Cinnamon rolls were amazing! The bakery also had a lot of other vendors that also had good food. Would recommend.

They are very friendly but do not carry GF cinnamon rolls regularly! Be sure you call before you make the drive.

This location of Novel is a walk up window, down a narrow outdoor corridor/alley(?)... there were some benches and a seating area on the sidewalk just outside this area. We ordered the Dough Melt with Biscoff and the Leslie Knope with Butter Pecan. The donut was good but would have been better if it was warm. We are used to Afters who puts their donut in a press to warm it. The Biscoff ice cream was like a vanilla with cookie mixed in. I was expecting a more Biscoff forward flavor. The Leslie Knope had a 7 minute wait because they had to make the waffle. I liked that the waffle was warm but it got hard and cold quickly with the ice cream. It wasn't fluffy at all and I think by waiting I was expecting a fresh waffle, but it seemed to be more of a frozen waffle placed in a toaster. It was also more difficult the eat the waffle sandwich vs the donut sandwich. We ended up biting the waffle and using a spoon for the ice cream. The butter pecan ice cream had good flavor but was nothing special. Definitely recommend the Dough Melt over the Leslie Knope, and the Butter Pecan over the Biscoff. An additonal star because the service was friendly and she offered to answer questions as we were indecisive since it was our first time there. However, we probably won't be back as there are many ice cream options closer to us in Gilbert that have better quality ice cream that is creamier and smoother, and more variety of flavors.

I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. Walking in the girls working that day were so friendly and helpful. I ordered an assortment of pastries. Cinnamon roll, strawberry puff pastry, chocolate chip cookie, cupcake, strawberry cream pastry and pistachio cream filled pastry. Prices are fair and there's so many options to choose from it's a bit overwhelming because I'm indecisive and want to try everything lol The pastries were all fresh and the ingredients were as well. The cream fillings in the pastries were fluffy and light. I wish the strawberry choux bun had a stronger strawberry flavor as it really tasted like just cream as well as the pistachio pastry. I'll have to try a mini pie and other goods next time I'm around!

We ordered a few different things to give a fair review, and honestly overall this place is just ok. Not horrible, just not that great. We had.. *sausage roll * ham and Swiss *cinnamon roll (regular) *cookies and cream cup cake *raspberry pop tart *chocolate chip cookie Sausage roll pastry dough was good, but the meat inside was not very flavorful. Ham and Swiss, the ham was just a single thin slice of deli meat. The cinnamon roll also missing something... maybe more sugar and better quality cinnamon? Perhaps salt in the dough? I'm not sure how they prepare theirs but definitely looked better than it tasted. Raspberry pop tart was my favorite item! Husband had no complaints on the cupcake.

AZ Chimney Cakes specializes in Kürtöskalács, a.k.a chimney cakes, an incredible dessert that originated in Hungary. I have Romanian roots and Kürtöskalács are quite popular in Romania. That's where I had my first chimney cake. Located in the same shopping center as a movie theater, a Japanese restaurant, and a bunch of other businesses, I parked without any issues in the free back lot and walked over. Ambiance (4/5): A cozy dessert shop. I felt right at home when I saw a map of Bucharest by the entrance. You order at the counter and then they bring your order out to you. We sat at a table close to the door. Service (5/5): Friendly service and we were fortunate enough to chat with the owner for quite a bit. We learned about the history of the dessert spot and how they're trying out some new ideas. Nice lady. Drinks (N/A): No drinks for me on this visit. Food (5/5): If you've never has a chimney cake, you're in for a treat. They're made to order and customizable. More so than anywhere I've ever seen. You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!
