Jugo fresco de naranja, café de la olla y una conchita.
Chelo M.

Got breakfast around 10am and I was able to get a table for myself and my laptop. The audio worked great too. Nice, colorful, airy, comfortable place to have breakfast. I like Cafe de la Olla and I liked it accompany with a tasty and dense conchita. The conchitas on this side are better in my opinion. I enjoyes a fresh orange juice with my machaca (similar to my mom's) with a couple of fried eggs, frijoles y papas and of tortilla de harina. I asked for salsa and I got a trio. I asked my waitress about each one but she had no idea but the green one was her favorite. It was mine too but all of them were hot and spicy. I will be back for sure.

Went here today for the second time with my family. On my last visit i ordered a plate that had a little bit of everything but was not very impressed with the chilaquiles or the quesadilla. Today i decided to try the machaca, i assumed it came with eggs but i guess i had to be more specific and say "machaca with eggs" i was served just shredded beef with veggies potatoes and beans, we had waited a long time for our food and the place was pretty empty i just ate my food because it would have probably taken longer to get it fixed. Upon your arrival they bring you warn pan dulce which is bomb they have good cafe de Olla and fresh squeezed OJ. Overall would recommend the machaca just make sure to specifically request with eggs. My family got omelettes which they said were good. Chillaquiles are eh nothing too great. We also tried the molletes which was more bread that anything not too much toppings.

The food here is really good with prices way below what I would pay in San Diego. The location is out of the way in Playas Tijuana away from the Walmart and main plazas. Spacious seating and nice view of ocean. Gave 3 stars because the service was really slow. Restaurant was 1/4 full to start lunch menu and it took 20 minutes after we sat down to get drinks.
