I am TERRIBLE at pole but it has become so addicting for me and trippy made me feel so comfortable about my skill level and allowed me to feel safe in my space. Since I've done all the research for this, -no, you will not find a better coach for a better price anywhere near here. Trust me. To be fair, I go to the other studio because it's quite literally .5 minutes walking distance from my house and they offer open pole (so does this place) so it allows me to practice what I've learned with trippy on a regular basis. They ask everyone to remove their shoes at the door, which shows how much they respect the space and the dancers. I've been to studios where people walk around in regular shoes on floors you're expected to dance on, and it just doesn't feel right. The program is structured, intentional, and actually doable even if handstands have felt intimidating or inconsistent before. Aza breaks everything down in a way that makes you feel supported instead of rushed. Each week builds on the last with clear cues, smart progressions, and drills that target the real issues like strength, alignment, balance, and confidence not just kicking up and hoping for the best. I appreciated how much emphasis she puts on form, wrist care, and body awareness. My shoulders feel stronger, my balance is more controlled, and my entries are way cleaner. What stood out most is that this series doesn't just train your body it trains your patience and mindset. I feel more confident upside down and more connected to my movement overall. I dragged 4 kids here (half hour drive) to catch someone to help me book a birthday and they say they're in the middle of the class and closed the door on my face. Not closed- slammer. We put on our aprons, washed our hands, and quickly got seated to begin our group lesson on knife sharpening and vegetable chopping. She and Chef Adam even walked around to make sure we were doing everything properly and not cutting our fingers off. What I thought was really neat was that Chef Liz had a mirror on the ceiling to provide an aerial view of what she was doing at her station! The menu was great. We had lemon berry scones, quiches, bell pepper and leek hashbrowns, bread pudding, and an omelette bar! Chefs Liz and Adam were very organized and had each station prepared with all the ingredients. I feel sometimes, mommy and me classes can feel rushed, but not here. Although it's on the pricier side if you are thinking long term for gymnastics this is the spot as they also train young kids and their instructors are trained in complicated gymnastics unlike other places. I would say, places like My Gym don't compare in quality of the classes, but obviously it's cheaper there. We hope to continue their programs for years.

It's a slap in the face to your customer base, hardworking parents, in a down economy, who are trying to nurture their children's interests. If there were more options in the area, I would take my child elsewhere on principle. Peddling junk to the kids who come in to learn gymnastics is a greedy practice and it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.
