Long Beach Ice - Our ice sculpture was a hit at the party!

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience…read more We utilized this company today for a last-minute ice delivery and ordered 320 pounds. The delivery arrived quickly, which I appreciated, and initially I saw this as a business we could rely on for future last-minute needs. However, when I called to pay the invoice, I was met with an unexpectedly rude and dismissive attitude from the person who answered the phone. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I asked who I was speaking with and was told it was Freddy, who identified himself as the boss. Customer service starts at the top, and first impressions matter. While our delivery driver was professional and courteous, my experience with management left a very different impression. Respectful communication should be the standard, especially when interacting with customers who are supporting your business. Because of this interaction, I would not feel comfortable recommending this company to others or using their services again. In today's world, kindness, patience, and professionalism go a long way. Customers have many options, and I believe people should spend their hard-earned money where they feel valued and appreciated. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was important to share.

Super quick ice service! I needed some dry ice and regular ice for a 5 day camping trip. The…read moreservice was quick and they were informative on how to store the dry ice and how to properly handle it. There's not too much parking so I had to park in the street and walk over with my cooler. I believe you have to purchase 10lbs minimum of dry ice. We got 10lbs of dry ice and a few packs of the party pack ice (regular cubed ice). Over 5 days of camping in 90 degree heat, we still had ice left and unmelted at the end of our trip! For future, I'll pick up some block ice to add on top of the dry ice and then add the party pack ice. Compared to market or store ice packs, the ice here is great price for the amount you get.

Nonna Mercato holds a special place in our hearts. They are like members of the family at this…read morepoint because we are there every week reliably. At least a few times. Nonna has become our go to bakery, our sweet retreat, and one of our favorite local brunch spots. Now, they even have happy hour and, during the summer, dinner (Nonna Summer Nights)! And all of the food is amazing. Seriously, truly legit! We buy bread from there each week. No more "big box store" bread you freeze. They make their bread fresh daily. They only use fresh, locally sourced ingredients with no preservatives. It's nice to look at an ingredient list and not see a paragraph for bread (and be able to pronounce all the names!). And their cupcakes and sweets. Yo, seriously so good. And the thing is, because of the ingredients they use, we don't feel heavy or overly wired after eating cake or cupcakes from them. From other places you can tell they use preservatives, refined sugars, processed ingredients. But with Nonna, you can just taste the difference. We even had them make our special cake for our wedding! We recently tried their dinner (twice!) and it exceeded expectations. Now, mind you, all of their food has always been good but our experience was amazing. Their prix fixe menu was well put together, wine pairings on point, dessert was also delicious. Our favorite was the tiramisu! Also loved the spaghattini and casarecce pastas, and entrecôte di manzo, but everything was great. Their brunch is also great, you really can't go wrong on the menu. And I think we've gone through almost all of it! Finally, (if you've stayed with me this long!) the absolute best thing about Nonna for us is the TEAM. Hands down no question. The food is good, space is a comfortable neighborhood vibe, and all that. But truly the folks here are amazing humans. Always friendly, warm, and welcoming. If the management team is reading this, you all have a great group of people there! We will definitely be back (again and again and again) and you should too!

Baked eggs are delicious! It's like a shashuka style egg dish baked in a clay pot. Comes with two…read moresmall slices of bread. My qualm about Nonna's is this: Baked goods already purchased cannot be eaten at dining table. So with that said, you're eating Baked Eggs with 2 small slices of bread that is not enough...and they will not let you grab a piece of bread you just bought at their bakery to dip into the egg sauce. WTH is that logic???? Honestly, not cool. And their bread is HELLA EXPENSIVE. If I'm going to buy your expensive bread and pay to sit at your table, WHY CANT I EAT THE BREAD I JUST BOUGHT? Makes no sense!! So now I make my own Baked Eggs and my own bread. I can eat as much as I want. 4/5 for Baked Eggs 1/5 for their bakery policy
