i really wanted to love these apartments. It really hurts my heart to leave a bad review like this,…read moreI hate it, but these people leave me no choice. The only TWO bright spots at this place are the door concierges, and they are wonderful. Then the two people from the office staff at the Towers is also great, Daniel and Michael. The Towers corporate office uses these sweet people as shields, because corporate at the Towers are cowards, and they won't confront issues directly and they can't handle anyone calling them out on what they KNOW is horrible and wrong in this building! These sweet people at the towers office have to take the brunt of many pissed off and disgusted residents, who are tired of dealing with this. The building manager is just like the rest of them over at corporate and she acts very shady and sneaky and FAKE. Which is repulsive to me. It's only been four and a half months of me living here and it's turned into my worst nightmare. AVOID this place if you know whats good for you and IIGNORE the good reviews. They actually pay the lobby concierges 20.00 for each positive review that they get, under the guise of it being about them (lobby concierges) because they know it boosts their rating of the towers overall. Totally shady!!! Like i said, AVOID! You can ask anyone who lives here, you're gonna have a really hard time finding anyone living here who's lived here a while that's gonna say anything nice about this place.
After 4 1/2 months of this insanity and lies about nothing being wrong (when there IS, and they KNOW there is, they just act like it's nothing to your face and maintenance comes and sneakily fixes stuff 1/2 assed or they call in one of their shoddy contractors to do it) I came home from a 4 day trip and opened my door to an absolutely disgusting smell, and i found mold in my closet (see pic below), mold in my dishwasher, my BRAND NEW dishwasher and a horrible smell coming from the pipes near the sink. NOT ONLY THAT, there's been a leak in the back of the toilet leaking sewage that i'd complained about SEVERAL times, all they do is come spray some deodorizer and leave it at that! Then their truly awful and do nothing at all customer service team that is located in the Philippines say it's totally fine and livable. They don't know the rental laws or anything much really, the corporate office uses them as shields too i think. FINALLY, last week the toilet was replaced, after MONTHS of this...and they say that this apartment is habitable?! What a joke...and NOT only that. When I moved in here, after about a month there was SMOKE coming from the 20 year old dishwasher. Would you believe that at first they said it was no problem at all and that it didn't need to be replaced? I had to call an outside dishwasher repair to look at it and they said it was so old, not worth fixing, NOT to turn it on because it was a fire hazard and it took maintenance 6 or 7 times of coming and basically saying nothing was wrong, accusing me of using the dishwasher on the wrong setting and finally having their useless corporate office to come to my apartment to confirm that t he dishwasher was an issue? This could have caused a fire and they were so lax about it. These dishwashers are from the 90's yall!!!! WAAAAY too old to be using in an apartment! Appliances shouldn't be used for more than 10 years and replaced but because the management and especially the OWNER of Garden Communities, seems to think that the people that live here and pay over 3k to do so, somehow deserve this type of sub standard living situation? There are constant water leaks, there are contractors replacing walls constantly, everyone that lives here knows this. The maintenance team denies they ever smell anything wrong if there's a smoke issue with appliances and management here refuses to acknowledge or take responsibility for any of it. Yesterday, they finally sent an HVAC technician to my apartment who CONFIRMED there was a condensation leak, which could actually cause a fire because it's right next to the AC vent and electrical. I'd been saying this for months and kept getting the runaround and ignored, THEN, i had to go stay at a hotel because of the sewage and sink smells, mold issues because of leaks. there's also a mold problem because the ENTIRE wall has leaks!! It smells terrible like mildew in my closet, across from the washer and dryer, where there are two other water leaks. I've had to move all of my things out of the closet and put them onto my bed, which of course I can't sleep on anymore, and on my desk, and the towers management comes in with some ridiculous tool that does not work and says no mold. A joke! These people aren't smart -- i am sorry, they continually have tested the wall for moisture and in the areas i've complained about the level was between 15-17! WAAAY too high and yet they say normal. Their idea of normal and what's actually normal and standard are far differen
