Sin duda el mejor restaurante de mariscos en Mexicali El servicio era genial y la comida era deliciosa. Afortunadamente no tuvimos que esperar para estar sentados. Hay muchas mesas en el establecimiento. Hay ceviche y tostas de cortesía mientras esperas tu comida. Recomiendo encarecidamente pedir el cóctel de camarones y el ceviche. El pescado y el camarón sabían frescos y muy sabrosos. El único alimento que no me gustó fue el taco de mantarraya. Sabía a que estaba cocinado como guiso de carne. Era mi primera vez tenerlo, así que no estoy segura de que normalmente se cocina así o no. No puedo esperar para volver otra vez

Stopped by to eat some fresh seafood based on everyone's Yelp reviews! First time eating here and the customer service was superb. Many employees were quick to greet us and sit us down where we wanted given that we went on a weekend (Saturday). No live music which was ok for me. The food proportions were large and definitely shareable between 2-4 people. Food was tasteful and restaurant was clean. The only reason I give it a 4 star was due to the smell. It definitely smelt fishy in not the greatest way upon arriving and we still decided to give it a try since the reviews for the most part were great. Glad we gave it a chance as the food was delicious and everything else was great. The place is also air conditioned which is clearly a plus in going out there in 100+ degree weather and there is plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is huge and can definitely host large parties and the prices are just unbeatable. For a part of 3, we spent $65 including the tip and also had the large fried fish to share. Would highly recommend for anyone to try it as well.

Laguna Azul has been for decades my favorite seafood restaurant in Mexicali. Recently we ordered to-go for 20 people, and they exceeded our expectations! The food was ready on time and was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

I love this restaurant!!! The seafood is fresh and delicious!!! Their portion sizes are huge!!! You will not leave hungry!! There are crackers on the table to snack on as well as eat with your meal. I ordered Shrimp Tostada(small), and we ordered Fish Tacos. When the Shrimp Tostada arrived, I am so glad I ordered a small because it was huge!!! There was thin slices of purple onion, cucumber, tomatoes, and huge shrimp!!! It was piled high!!! And there was a slightly sweet sauce drizzled on top. It was delicious!!! The Fish Tacos were oh so goooooodddd!!!! It had lightly battered white fish in corn tortillas. The fish was cook perfectly! Even though I was full from eating the Shrimp Tostada, I made room for these Fish Tacos!!! It came with rice, and a small salad. I will defiantly return to this restaurant!!!

This place was recommended by a friend of mine and it didn't disappoint. If you wanna cure the hangover or just want some fresh mariscos, this is the spot. I think I ordered more than I was able to eat but it was well worth it.

This place was soooooo good! There are plenty of seats, it's safe, it's clean- we were sprayed and forced to where a mask/ sanantize, and temps taken at the door before entering. Luckily we got there at 6:58 because doors were closed at 7, prob because of Covid. The service was sooooo good! Everyone was so nice, food was delicious! I will def be returning! My sister in law has been going to this mariscos for years!

The food was good. We had camarones al mojo d ajo, camarones enpanisados, filete enpanisado, aguachiles de callo de acha and a few other things. The food was all very tasty. I had a Michelada which was very good.. The se vice was very spotty. There was plenty of staff but everyone was running around aimlessly. Very off putting- we constantly had to waive down ANY waiter.. PS- the stuffed chiles were so so... they need cheese or to be bacon wrapped or something.

I had the shrimp cocktail. It was a large portion with a lot of shrimp. The sauce was excellent and very tasted. Only issue was the shrimp were a bit on the salty side. However, 3-4 limes fixed the problem. Everyone enjoyed there meal. Just keep in mind this is not a fancy seafood place. It's more of a fast food sea food. Overall excellent food.

Ok i have been here about 3 times whenever i need to go see my doctor, i just keep forgetting to review this place, so here it goes..... First impression i was skeptical not gonna lie the outside artwork kind of weird theres superheroes painting outside which theres nothing wrong with that ,dont get me wrong, but it is a mexican seafood restaurant , and i dont really see the connection, but ok ‍lol... One thing i disliked was the parking super reduced and seriously need wayyyy more parking space! Its hard to find a parking spot because they dont have enough and its always packed... Ok moving on inside it is kinda loud but then again we are hispanics and were very happy loud people lol so its ok the reason why i gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes,not always, but sometimes the tables arent completely cleaned off i understand they are super busy, but i did see a lot of staff on hand ... The waiters are always very attentive and pleasant and do check on you even when the place is packed, which i liked and admired ... Now the food is absolutely amazing!!! The seafood tastes fresh and delicious good flavor and if its a hot dish it prepared well and served hot! They are very famous for their micheladas so the first time i went there i had to have one and let me just say it didnt dissapoint!!! It was sooo good and served in a big glass! So overall the parking and being more attentive to cleaning off tables is something to work on, but food and service was incredible and would definitely recommend and be back!! Good job Laguna Azul!
