Lots of bean sprouts, cauliflower, carrots, that were very fresh and tasty. A little more chicken would have been nice. On a subsequent visit we had the pan fried chicken with the vegetable chop suey. Can't stress enough just how fresh everything was. Huge portions and great taste. Iced teas and adult beverages rounded out our meals. Fat, dumb and happy! Pricing was reasonable. Could have been more generous with the proteins but the portions were huge. Service was good. A bit of a language challenge but we managed to charade our way thru. Spanish language speakers will have no problem. And the place was very neat and clean with well maintained restrooms. Unfortunately, my experience with the owner was deeply disappointing. I was unaware that the restaurant opened at 11:00 AM. After seeing other customers enter, I assumed it was acceptable to go inside. The owner responded by yelling at me from across the parking lot, which I found unnecessary and disrespectful. When I later placed my order, she did not greet me and instead gave me an unfriendly look. She then made comments about me in Korean to one of the employees in a mocking manner. Having studied Taekwondo for 15 years, I was able to understand what she said. As someone from Los Angeles who appreciates and respects different cultures, I was shocked and hurt by this experience. I drove three hours to visit this restaurant and left feeling singled out and racially profiled. No customer should feel judged or insulted because of their appearance or ethnicity. Businesses should treat every guest with respect and professionalism. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, and I hope the ownership reflects on how customers are treated.
