    Beluga Whale
    Rochelle V.

My daughter (three years old) still can't stop talking about our visit, back in January! She had so much fun. What I appreciate about SeaWorld (it took a lot for us to come visit, after watching Black Fish), is their notice, appreciation, and accommodation of military personnel and families. Military service members and families sacrifice more than people can imagine in order to serve and protect our country. SeaWorld made it possible for our family to visit due to my husband's service. Our girls very much enjoyed the Orca and Dolphin shows; the information was interesting and educational, and they have not stopped singing the music from the dolphin show. We love, love, loved the Arctic exhibit (with beautiful Beluga Whales) and the penguin area was a hit, as well. The play zone and mini-rides were a blast too. Thank you, SeaWorld for helping our tiny one have an unforgettable birthday!

The Orca show was epic... and these whales are fascinating

My daughter had a great time at the Sea World Rescue Jr play area... we spent abt 5 hours at the park and still did not see the entire park... highly recommend the Orca showing!! we look forward to visiting again and are glad we took advantage of the flash sale, buy a day get a discounted 2025. I would encourage the Black Friday presale prices... that is even cheaper than what we paid and well worth the value. Great outing for young families... thank you to "Juan" at the Sea World Store who was friendly and offered great customer service upon checkout.

How stupid was I bought this for unlimited tickets with all day eating. Not too much facilities were open that day and there were no clear signs that you can skip the line. Food were... you will know it once you get there! Never came back again. The top management should go out the door to checkout other theme park in the rest of the world! Two stars for the animals and trainers only!

Killer whales with their dorsal fins flopped over. THEIR FINS ARE MEANT TO BE STRAIGHT! Look it up for yourself!!

I wish I would've watched BlackFish sooner before I was gifted tickets to go here. I felt disgusted when I saw the whales with their fins flopped over. The whole park is smeared with quotes of supposed "rescue efforts" & "your visit today helps the animals", total fluffy crap to keep people fooled & their true reputation hidden. This park is completely falling apart & we all saw through their patched cracks. Cafeteria food & rude employees that clearly hate working there. My family & I will NEVER go back to this place again & I hope more people become more aware of the true reality of this place before considering going here.

Had the year pass and enjoyed my visits. Shows and a few rides. Fyi....mantra ride is not bbw friendly. Kids will have fun. Gift shops have a variety of items.

It was not too crowded, and there is a lot of parking on both the left and right side of the zoo, which made it easy. Before entering, there are many vendors selling food, hats, accessories, and children's toys. Children under 2 are free, ages 2 to 12 were $22, and adults were $27. I believe there is also a senior price, possibly around $24. We were able to go through the entire zoo in about 4 hours, and the kids spent some time at the playground, which was new to me since I had not been here in a few years. If you are going without children or with older kids, you could probably get through it faster. Some animals had been relocated to another zoo, and the elephants were not there, which was a bit of a bummer. We were told animals get put away about an hour before closing. I am not sure if that applies to all of them, since we still saw some animals out around closing time. We were able to bring in our own snacks and drinks, which was nice. They do have a few spots that sell food, drinks, ice cream, and other snacks, but they were a bit expensive for me. We did end up getting churros and shared them since they were really long and more than enough for my kids. Overall, it was a fun visit.

The bathrooms and buildings look untouched from when I was a child which isn't good. Couple that with exorbitant prices for low quality food and souvenirs making this very difficult to see the value. I know Zoos are filled with children but the non-stop screaming and crying can be overwhelming especially when parents aren't caring or enabling this behavior. I have the luxury of leaving but these poor animals are stuck with this day in and day out. I've done my fair share of research of animal behavior and psychology and it's unfortunate that they are in a less than optimal environment. Many of the enclosures are far too small for them leading them to bang on cages, hide from guest view, and look distressed. The Chimps are our closest relatives and yet many people, adults even are taunting, mocking them leading them to get defensive. I think what made it even more sad was seeing a sole chimp and their infant in a concrete jungle under the hot sun trying to find shelter. This is just sad. My honest recommendations would be to overall all enclosures to make them more of a natural environment and to allow humans to see but in hidden view. The aging infrastructure needs to be updated and there needs to be more intervention against unruly guests. You have ways to go LA Zoo but I'm sure they can do it. I'll return probably in another 10 years.

My older loves animals, insects, and other non-human creatures so this place seemed perfect. We had been many years ago with our littles and they distinctly remember a giraffe so we figured their cousins would enjoy the experience too. We arrived at around 11 am on a Monday morning and found parking relatively easy- I think we were one of two families there which made it easy. There is a very small parking lot just outside the entrance and street parking. We entered through a really fun gift shop and made our way in. They have many exhibits of foxes, monkeys, birds, reptiles, and other small-to-medium sized animals to learn about. Each exhibit provided a learning display. We made our way through the "center" in just under two hours- really taking out time at each exhibit. Wr only noticed a couple of other families with littles as well, making it super easy to move through. While we say snakes foxes parrots and more, we don't see the giraffe . We did learn while we were there though that the giraffe was just visiting as it was being trained by the nextdoor business for television!!! Apparently that's a thing. Love L.A.! Ideal place for little kids! They have space for private parties, benches to enjoy a packed lunch (byobag situation), and a theater-education space where I believe they have events/activities, although we didn't see any. Pro-tip: sister purchase tickets on Groupon and saved money

It was also nice to hear of the center's efforts to help animals that had been in poor conditions due to wildlife trafficking. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to enjoy their work with the wildlife. For around $16 a ticket, I will definitely be back and maybe looking into doing an individual animal experience!

After living in LA for just under two years my wife and I figured it was about time we actually checked this place out. We came here with all three of our dogs on a Sunday morning and it was a really cool experience. When you arrive to Griffith Park all you really have to do is follow the signs and it'll lead you right to a small parking lot, usually also loaded with man-made signs for kids birthday parties and such. Once you park, you have to follow a trail and walk up a slight hill for like two minutes before you are suddenly staring at some old enclosures and such. These enclosures are fully open, meaning you can walk right up to them, inside of them, and check them out yourself. If you follow the path a little more you are able to go up a hill and explore behind the bigger exhibits (which I was unable to do this day thanks to some recent lung issues). I have no idea how big the actual old zoo area is, but the area we saw was really freaking cool and definitely has me itching to come back when I'm 100% in order to see everything. Overall, The Old Zoo is cool chance to go back in time for free and experience old some Los Angeles. The park is free, parking is free, and guess what? Checking out the old zoo is free too. You really can't go wrong with some slight exploration and cool photo opportunities. I look forward to coming back soon and exploring some more.

I mean HOURS due to populations outside that were unpredictable, which unfortunately is pretty pervasive in LA. Surprisingly? The PA system or announcement method in the museum was not great. My friend and I had to really strain and get under a speaker to even hear we were locked in. That is concerning. What wasn't concerning however, was the response. We mentioned to a museum worker how we had been there since opening and were concerned. He immediately ushered us into a the members/donors spot that had snacks and refreshments, and a spot to collect ourselves. Everyone seemed calm and the whole operation was finally clearly communicated and all was well.
