The Yelp photos of the 15-pack birria tacos got me, and I threw in the birria pizza because why not?!?! The tacos had great flavor, but they came without consomé... like serving chips without salsa. I would've gladly paid extra if I'd known! The pizza was good too but could've used more cheese, more meat, and a side of consomé. Salsa negra and black chili oil were very tasty and spicy!! The quesabirria is spectacular. I had both with a corn tortilla and a flour tortilla. The guisado is spot-on; the meat melted in your mouth. I'm not one to put salsa on my birria but their dark salsa was absolutely the perfect match. The fish taco was great too! read more

This family owned Mexicaneatery makes some very good food. I had the beef birria fluatas or crispy corn rolled tacos and a malcriada house taco, which came with beef birria and pork Belly on a corn tortilla. The beef birria fluatas were good, but they were a little over fried, as a result, dried the juicy beef birria inside the fluatas. Nevertheless, the they were tasty and very dipped in the birria consommé. The consommé was delicious. The malcriada taco was absolutely delicious. The combination of the savory pork belly and juicy and tender beef birria were outstanding. The tacos came with a touch of chopped onions ans cilantro. Due try the salsa macha in the bottle that is offered on the tables. It's terrific and went well with both items I order. The service is super friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Birria chilaquiles in the afternoon (doesn't come with the same sides as the breakfast order), Birria torta, a Birria taco and a carne asada taco. Their Birria is delicious and very flavorful! It does not disappoint. Carne asada taco: I did not care for the carne asada meat, it didn't taste quite like carne asada - I was expecting a smoky flavor, it was just off for me, but the guacamole it comes with is good. The Birria torta is great! It has like a crispy layer of cheese. Just be careful, the torta bread gets very soggy if you don't eat it right away. The chilaquiles don't come with a salsa - it is an order of chips with Birria on top, and cilantro and onions, etc. but again, since we ordered them in the afternoon, I think they make the plate different from the breakfast version.
