I haven't been to Super Sergios in so long so while staying in National City while my house was being worked on I knew I had to check out Super Sergios. Well, I was happy to know the food still tasted great, my husband and I came twice and the service was always really friendly and fast. The first time we ordered a carne asada burrito plate, loved the rice and beans and the meat in the burrito was super flavorful. The second time we ordered a carne asada quesadilla, when we got back to our hotel we noticed that the quesadilla was just one big tortilla, uncut. Because we don't have any cutlery readily available in our room it was a little frustrating. But overall, the food is just as good as I remembered it to be! read more

The food tasted amazing. Everything tasted fresh. I got Carne Asada fries, and I felt like the fry to meet ratio was leaning more on the french fry side so it would've been nice if there was more of an equal ratio or maybe just a bit more meat so I wasn't left with so many fries. The customer service was excellent top-tier 10 out of 10 would recommend there was a mixup with sour cream and the man at the register noticed his mistake and fix the error by providing cash and he did it with respect and very gracefully. It was about 20 bucks for a champurrado and surf and turf burrito. Their surf and turf was mixed with chipotle sauce and came with rice. So good!! I saved half for the next day. But their chanpurrado was soooo good! Wish I had some sweet bread with me. It's in a small shopping center but I didn't have difficulty finding parking. They also have a drive thru. Very Disappointed! service has gone downhill I've been coming to Super Sergio for a while, but this visit was disappointing. I ordered at the drive thru a carne asada fries and a Cali burrito without sour cream and pico de gallo and both were added anyway. We even reiterated (no pico and sour cream and she said correct). On top of that, I was charged extra for something I didn't order. When I brought it up, the cashiers were very rude and dismissive instead of trying to fix the mistake. Unfortunately, the service has really gone downhill, and that alone makes it hard to come back. It's not like it use to be many years ago :( read more

Only real negative feedback is that the staff here is just there to work. No welcome greeting, no smiles, no thank you for coming. OK, they have great burritos but $17.92 for a breakfast burrito because it was after 12 and they give you a surcharge of two dollars after that time no thank you. Insanity. I ordered one and added beans so the total price was like ridiculous. I can't believe it. I'll never go back there for breakfast burrito. I used to love going they're just gonna be cheese cause they have great beans but if they're gonna overcharge for a breakfast burrito like that, it's crazy. I was told about super Sergio's long time ago. It wasn't until today that I was able to stop by to try the famous chile, Colorado plate. The service was great. I've been craving good Mexican food since LA doesn't really have any solid spots, so I had my heart set on Carne Asada Fries from this place I used to hit up for late-night eats. I got into town around midnight, stopped by the spot, placed my order, and ate in my car. It felt nostalgic until a few hours later. I started feeling off: fatigue, body aches, constant trips to the bathroom every 5-7 minutes, and even throwing up, etc. That's when I realized I had food poisoning.
