    Potato roll tacos

.Local Favorite Taco Spot *Casual ambiance *tasty food Still love coming here! This local taco shop never disappoints -- spacious, clean, and always served with great customer service. If you're in the neighborhood and craving rolled tacos, carne asada chips, or beef tacos, this is your place . I had the beef rolled tacos today and they were delicious as usual -- crispy, flavorful, and the guacamole was fresh (not that old fried oil taste ). Big shoutout to Liz -- she was so sweet and helpful! Always a great experience here.

It was about 20 bucks for a champurrado and surf and turf burrito. Their surf and turf was mixed with chipotle sauce and came with rice. So good!! I saved half for the next day. But their chanpurrado was soooo good! Wish I had some sweet bread with me. It's in a small shopping center but I didn't have difficulty finding parking. They also have a drive thru. It was clean inside and fast service. Their hot sauces are good so ask for extra.

Taco shop located in National City, within a small strip shopping center. Drive thru available as well as dine in. Average food, nothing that will excite you, but consistent. Only real negative feedback is that the staff here is just there to work. No welcome greeting, no smiles, no thank you for coming. I only stop here when convenient and I never go out of my way to eat here.

My favorite spot for Carne Asada fries! I usually go through Drive Thru and service is pretty quick and made fresh for order. I've been inside a few times and ambience is clean but also a typical taco shop with clean bathrooms.

Good spot in the middle of the night when most things are closed. Came for the first time after a concert. Came for the second time because I was craving carne asada fries. The burrito I got was good. Carne asada fries were better tho. They had fries, carne asada, guacamole and cheese- I asked for no sour cream. The fries were good and you get a good amount- you can honestly share this. Lots of parking. The best thing about this spot is the late night hours. Looks like a typical Mexican food taco shop.

Their portions are not Super Sergio quality, this just fries

Where's the meat in their carna Asad fries? "There's no bathroom key since the morning" - rude front cashier I came in here for bite to eat since in my college years and they would usually HOOK IT UP. Now, I am just eating fries and 10% Carna Asada. My mom wanted to use the bathroom, but now we are giving business to this better hospitable, bigger portions at Casa Del Taco This is not the Super Sergio I knew years ago. If you want portions especially on $20 carne asada fries, go else where not 1631 Sweetwater National City location

    Chile Colorado plate

I was told about super Sergio's long time ago. It wasn't until today that I was able to stop by to try the famous chile, Colorado plate. The service was great. Very affable, great attitude and atmosphere. It was just perfect. Beans and rice were as good as they should be in a good Mexican place. Definitely recommend it.

This place used to be good. Idk wtf happened. My total came out to damn near $30 ($28.24 to be exact). What did I order? 3 things. So you're telling me basically each item is $10. I ordered 4 street tacos (special #11 is what they call it), chips and salsa, and a Jamaica. AINT NO MFKN WAY THESE ITEMS SHOULD EVEN BE OVER $20 COMBINED TOTAL. PRICE GOUGING ASS PLACE. And the quality of food is mediocre at best. Then they ask for a tip when you sign after paying...yea right. If I recall a burrito there costs around $16-$18 which is also insane.

I'm waiting.... I'll put La Lomitas rolled tacos up against anybody's, ANYBODY'S! Covered in freshly made, still green guacamole, tomatoes, and shredded cheese, these bad boys are smackin'! $9.25 for 5 rolled tacos isn't terrible, but you might as well phone a friend on some Who Wants to Be a Millionaire type ish and order that 12 pack for $16.99. Ya feel me? If you don't, you will. And don't forget to peep out all of the accoutrements at the salsa bar-4 different salsas, pickled red onions, limes, radishes, and hot carrots, all gratis my amigo. Say whaaaaaat!? Yes, they kindly ask that you don't go overboard and request you take only 2 salsas per item, but just don't be greedy and you should be fine. The salsa bar was super clean and the salsas were delicious. I've also had carne asada fries here (always ask for extra crispy) and they're delicious as well. If you're not asking for your carne asada fries to be extra crispy at any taco shop, you're just doing it wrong. Enjoy my friends! Thanks to La Lomita and crew for coming through again. You guys really shine.

That alone made me feel like the wait wasn't wasted. We tried a variety of tacos, and everything was solid. The spicy pork (which actually isn't that spicy) was super flavorful and easy to eat. I will highly recommend even if you don't handle spice well. The beef tongue was another standout, it is tender, rich, and really well done. Ordering can be a little confusing at first since you line up by meat and then pay separately, but once you figure it out, it's part of the experience. If you're in San Diego, this place is pretty much a must-try. I'd come back again just for these tacos.

You order and pay first, then they call your name when everything's ready. Service was nice and straightforward. The salsa bar was clean and stocked with fresh limes, two salsas, and radishes. There are a few tables inside plus a bigger table, but we chose to sit outside on the patio. It was clean, comfortable, and the weather made it easy to eat outside. Cabeza: $3.69. Super juicy and packed with flavor. If you like cabeza, this one hits. It came with onions and cilantro and didn't need much else. Lengua: $4.38. Lengua is usually my go-to, and this one was cooked really well. Not greasy at all, which I appreciated. The texture was right, and the flavor was solid, especially with extra lime. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't order more than one at that price. Adobada: $3.69 each. These were my husband's favorite. They come with a creamy green salsa that isn't at the salsa bar, and it pairs really well with the pork. Probably the safest order here. I'd come back to try other items since they have a lot of different cuts and styles, but the prices do make you pause a little, especially if you're ordering multiple tacos.

You now have to pay first, then wait for your food to be made. I actually preferred the old setup where you could walk to the different stations, pick your tacos, watch them prepare everything fresh, get it packed up, and then pay at the end. It felt like part of the experience. We also have to talk about the pricing. I remember when these tacos were around $1.25 each. Now they're over $4 for a mini street taco. I understand this is California and the cost of goods has increased, but that is a drastic jump. That said, I don't want to take away from the food because the tacos are still excellent. I ordered two buche tacos and a quesadilla, and both were 10 out of 10. They don't miss when it comes to seasoning and flavor. The service is still quick as well. My only real complaint is the price. It feels overpriced for what you're getting, and honestly, it may explain why there weren't many people there when we visited. There were only a handful of customers inside. The food is still worth trying, but be prepared for some serious sticker shock.
