How hard is it to get a bean and rice burrito with no cheese? Is it rocket science? Is this such a hard or complicated order??? It's so annoying when you order something and you come home and you're finally going to eat the burrito you ordered for to find out they only made a BEAN Burrito? ALL BEANS! No RICE? Just ALL beans! Very Disappointed! service has gone downhill I've been coming to Super Sergio for a while, but this visit was disappointing. I ordered at the drive thru a carne asada fries and a Cali burrito without sour cream and pico de gallo and both were added anyway. We even reiterated (no pico and sour cream and she said correct). On top of that, I was charged extra for something I didn't order. When I brought it up, the cashiers were very rude and dismissive instead of trying to fix the mistake. Unfortunately, the service has really gone downhill, and that alone makes it hard to come back. It's not like it use to be many years ago :( read more

It was about 20 bucks for a champurrado and surf and turf burrito. Their surf and turf was mixed with chipotle sauce and came with rice. So good!! I saved half for the next day. But their chanpurrado was soooo good! Wish I had some sweet bread with me. It's in a small shopping center but I didn't have difficulty finding parking. They also have a drive thru. It was clean inside and fast service. Their hot sauces are good so ask for extra. read more

Taco shop located in National City, within a small strip shopping center. Drive thru available as well as dine in. Average food, nothing that will excite you, but consistent. Only real negative feedback is that the staff here is just there to work. No welcome greeting, no smiles, no thank you for coming. OK, they have great burritos but $17.92 for a breakfast burrito because it was after 12 and they give you a surcharge of two dollars after that time no thank you. Insanity. I ordered one and added beans so the total price was like ridiculous. I can't believe it. I'll never go back there for breakfast burrito. Good spot in the middle of the night when most things are closed. Came for the first time after a concert. Came for the second time because I was craving carne asada fries. The burrito I got was good. Carne asada fries were better tho. They had fries, carne asada, guacamole and cheese- I asked for no sour cream. The fries were good and you get a good amount- you can honestly share this. Lots of parking. The best thing about this spot is the late night hours. I was told about super Sergio's long time ago. It wasn't until today that I was able to stop by to try the famous chile, Colorado plate. The service was great. Very affable, great attitude and atmosphere. It was just perfect. Beans and rice were as good as they should be in a good Mexican place. Definitely recommend it. read more

Been coming here for +10 years and it's always been my go to spot. The quality has declined drastically over the years but it was always decent enough to come back. Two months ago I ordered a Machaca burrito and I'm not sure if it was spoiled meat or a different ingredient, but one single bite literally made me throw up because of the taste. I called to let them know what happened then they asked me to bring the burrito back to the store, but I didn't want to go all the way back there right after I just gotten home. But, loyalty! I decided to come back a few weeks later and give them the benefit of the doubt and hadn't had any issues in a few weeks. Then today happened. Super sergios biggest pro is their hours at this point. The quality has gone down a bit but prices have gone up. Paying 15 dollars for burritos or carne asada fries and chips is getting out of hand. Seems like they are pretty stingy with hot sauces as well (unless you ask) read more

I moved to LA two years ago, and I finally got the chance to visit friends and family again. I've been craving good Mexican food since LA doesn't really have any solid spots, so I had my heart set on Carne Asada Fries from this place I used to hit up for late-night eats. I got into town around midnight, stopped by the spot, placed my order, and ate in my car. It felt nostalgic until a few hours later. I started feeling off: fatigue, body aches, constant trips to the bathroom every 5-7 minutes, and even throwing up, etc. That's when I realized I had food poisoning.
