Lengua is usually my go-to, and this one was cooked really well. Not greasy at all, which I appreciated. The texture was right, and the flavor was solid, especially with extra lime. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't order more than one at that price. Adobada: $3.69 each. These were my husband's favorite. They come with a creamy green salsa that isn't at the salsa bar, and it pairs really well with the pork. Probably the safest order here. I'd come back to try other items since they have a lot of different cuts and styles, but the prices do make you pause a little, especially if you're ordering multiple tacos.

I understand this is California and the cost of goods has increased, but that is a drastic jump. That said, I don't want to take away from the food because the tacos are still excellent. I ordered two buche tacos and a quesadilla, and both were 10 out of 10. They don't miss when it comes to seasoning and flavor. The service is still quick as well. My only real complaint is the price. It feels overpriced for what you're getting, and honestly, it may explain why there weren't many people there when we visited. There were only a handful of customers inside. Today I went for two Carne Asada Fries and let me tell you, the cashiers there are super rude. They just call the orders at random, have you waiting there to order and don't tell you "sorry, give me a second" or anything. When I actually get to order the cashiers cannot even look at you in the eyes to acknowledge you. I waited for a long time and then they called the order that was after me before me, I was like"hey what happened? I was before" and then the cashier pretends like she doesn't know and starts making fun of me because I was wondering about my food being after than the customers after me. When I got home my food was super cold and the carne asada fries were more fries than anything, plus they were cold as if they were sitting out for a while. It's so annoying when you order something and you come home and you're finally going to eat the burrito you ordered for to find out they only made a BEAN Burrito? ALL BEANS! No RICE? Just ALL beans! I mean thats just messed up. I hate this place. Can't even get an order right. I try to avoid coming here because they suck and of course I decide to give them a chance and of course it's as expected, crap! Also, asked for All red salsa and what do I get red and green salsa and before I can even let the girl know at the window, she answers the phone.
