I decided to check out this little spot today after church. I must say the staff was very nice and welcoming the breakfast was so good. I will be back

    Guava and cheese empanada

We were in the mood for a Cuban sandwich so I searched Yelp for suggestions. The restaurant specializes in Dominican food but they did have some sandwiches on their menu. Order one cuban sandwich. One avocado salad. One guava and cheese empanada and two fresh squeezed lemonades. All were very very good. FYI their empanada was fried. The service was efficient and extremely friendly. We look forward to a return so we can check out the DR food along with more fresh juices. They also make milk shakes.

Wow wow wow! If you have not tried this place you just run out now and get something, anything off the menu it's that good. Working out in the yard late because of our wonderful late sunsets this time of year; I was too tired to cook. I eat anything I want once a month, tonight would be the day. I browsed through Yelp reviews for places I have not yet been to in St. Cloud and found this little whole in the wall gem! It's located where Sisters Pizza used to live; by big lots. I loved that place and I love the food here. I read the reviews and all were great no matter what was eaten. I decided on a few items i knew I liked, I could sample and eat all weekend. I ordered the Dominican Soup San Concho, I love soup and hoped they did it justice! Yes they were spot on! It was so good! Very delicious! Yum yum Because of the great Yelp review I read of "best Cuban sandwich I ever had" I had to try it, and yes i have to agree it was the best Cuban sandwich I ever had! Filled with delicious tasting food I could fit only half in my tummy, so filling. It came with yucca fries, another of my favorite, I was disappointed only 4 cause they were out of this world! Soft, slight crispy outside, tasty, I was sad there was only enough for half the sandwich, I would have gladly paid for more had I known. Next Time! I ordered a side of pork with was pulled pork, topped with perfectly cooked skin, fluffy rice and delicious red beans, again yum yum! The owner was so nice and appreciated my order and business. All the food was presented very beautifully in recycled cardboard containers, she had me there without even opening the containers or tasting I just knew this food would be awesome! Prepared by a person who cares about the environment I just knew they would definitely care about the products purchased to create the meals I was tasting. My only wish is they replace plastic utensils with bamboo, that would be complete. I was so right! All dishes came to be hot and tasty, full of flavor. I've mostly only eaten Thrifty hot foods. I used to like them a lot more in the past. But this place is so much more superior to that one almost no comparison and the prices are pretty much the same. Go try an authentic delicious Dominican meal, dine in (small dining room) or take out. Tell them Karen sent you enjoy

Didn't get a picture of my plate, so pictured are the remains of my feast.

Insanely Tasty! great variety. Friendly staff! I ordered - Cuban sandwich - Bistec sandwich - chicken cheese empanada - guava cheese empanada - 2 chicken drumsticks - coffee/milk Everything came - yuca fries - crinkle cut fries Everything came out FRESH, fast and flavorful. Even the side of crinkle cut fries were deep fried, nice and crunchy (I NEVER eat my side fries but these were awesome). Hidden gem! Do yourself a FLAVOR and stop by. I will be back soon and often. Didn't get a picture of my plate, so pictured are the remains of my feast.

Stopped by while in the area and I'm so happy I did! The Dominican food here was delicious and tasted homemade! I ordered the bistec encebollado, yellow rice, black beans, and macaroni salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty; the portions were great, I even saved some for later for work the next day! While I loved all the food I picked, I would maybe go for the potato salad next time; the macaroni salad was yummy, but I felt like it was missing something! Upon arrival, there's a written menu board with bowls and specials of the day for their serving bar; however you can also order anything of their paper menu. Again, so many options from entrees, to shakes, juices, and desserts! I was pleased to see they had options like morir soñando and even Dominican cake! The workers here are so friendly! The overall place is so cute and tiny, with 3 little picnic style benches inside and an outdoorsy grass wall that sets the aesthetic. I would definitely come back here for food; while I love going to the local Spanish stores to pick up a plate to go; this places beats the chaotic environment and hassle of those places! Prices were definitely inexpensive compared to the portions of food!

Delicious Dominican food, amazing service, and it's beautiful inside. The vibe is friendly and they also sell fresh squeezed orange juice. Not many places do that anymore. 10/10

A "large" sancocho which is really a medium and a small Arroz Blanco.

Good food! I ordered from them on Ubereats 2x. The first time I ordered the Sancocho with arroz blanco. I wasn't impressed with the large recycle cardboard container bc that looks like a small. There wasn't all the meats that should come in the Sancocho as described, so I was disappointed. There was one piece of meat and the rest corn and plantain in the large soup. The second time I ordered a small Sancocho, why did I do that? The container is tiny. They gave me 2 pieces of meat which I guess was all that could fit in the tiny plastic container. Good thing I had it with the arroz amirillo. Sancocho has a lot of stuff in it, so they need to rethink the container situation. Now the Carne Guisada is what did it for me! Served with arroz blanco, beans, habichuela roja and ensalada verde. Now that salad was EVERYTHING. I could eat that all day. I ordered a side of cilantro lime sauce and that was good too. I will definitely go into the restaurant one day and check out the atmosphere and service.

The Cuban sandwich was excellent as were the empanadas. In fact, everything I have ordered here has been perfect.

This place definitely took me by surprise. At first seems like it's hidden and not well noticed, but all I can say is this place definitely hit the spot! This is a Latin cuisine featuring more Dominican roots and a mixture of great bites juices. Freshly made juices, shakes, and desserts. I personally had the Cuban sandwich and it was great, but I was able to have a taste of the rice , pork, churrasco, and macaroni and all I can say is wow!

    Arroz con pernil
    Chelsea S.

Whoa, what happened ? I have not ordered pernil and rice here for a bit and man it was so sad to get my meal today and see the change. First off, the service is still good, they are small but still do a good job of getting you in and out. I got the small meal "Margarita Bowl" and while it is no longer served in a bowl it is in your typical divided foam container and yes you get more (which is a plus if it's delicious). The food was very bland I had arroz con gandules and pernil and asked for moros. No moros today, bummer. So I went with the macaroni salad. The rice was not very tasty and just lacking in latino flavor. It was basically the color of brown rice and bland. The pernil was grayish and also cooked scrimping on seasoning. It was a decent portion for $8 but I would rather have less of a tastier meal. The macaroni salad was good. It was typical and cold. If you are not familiar with hispanic food, you may like this and think it's good if you are not used to flavorful food. I will try it again after they are done with all the construction on the outside. It's not good if thrifty grocery down the street on Alabama and 13th Street has better food. I usually get soups here and they are always the best! The inside is small but clean! Parking sucks as they are working on the exterior of the building.

This place is brand new here in Saint Cloud. It's a restaurant that I want to say that it was missing around here with their seasoning. Mofongo are good Mangu is good, I just wish they would serve a little more. They only served two scoops like it was ice cream. Chicken is good. This is not a place that you can go for lunch every day as it can get pricey but it's good to come at least once a month.

Excellent food. We both had bistro encebollado with rice, beans and yuca. Dessert was a delicious flan and a cortadito coffee.

Support your locals baby! Downtown finallyyy has great Latin food and it's here. While they have…read morerecently gone viral on social media, I believe it's worth the hype. They bring together the best comfort food from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Staff were focused and very kind to everyone who walked in. The place is also consistently busy, one person leaves and two more walk in. You can expect to wait 10-15 minutes for your food but the upside is everything is made in the moment so it will be fresh. Pro tips: There is a small parking lot in the back of the building otherwise you'll need to find street parking. Also you want to set the moment right with Passionfruit juice or a Coco Rico!

Los Tres Golpes is the kind of spot you stumble into once and then spend the rest of your life…read morebragging about like you discovered buried treasure. We found it totally by accident, just a random stop next to a venue before a show and suddenly I was transported straight back to my NYC days when late‑night chimis were basically a lifestyle. They do have chimis here, but the real star of my personal universe is the Tripleta. Chicken, pernil, ham, lettuce, tomato, potato stix, and that glorious kreme sauce all stacked together like they're auditioning for the sandwich hall of fame. It's so good I don't even pretend to have self‑control anymore, I order one to eat and two to take home because future‑me deserves happiness too. Then come the maduros, sweet and caramelized just right, the kind that instantly hit you with Caribbean nostalgia like a warm breeze and a memory at the same time. And the empanadas? Massive, golden, and addictive. The shrimp scampi one is almost always sold out, which honestly just proves everyone else has good taste too. The vibe is pure Dominican quick‑bite energy: walk in, get hit with the smell of sizzling goodness, and catch the soundtrack of mainstream dembow or reggaeton bouncing off the walls. It's the perfect pre‑game, mid‑night, or post‑party stop, especially since they stay open until 4 AM from Thursday to Saturday. That alone makes them a community service. And because the business started in NYC, the staff will happily chat with you about the city, the food, the culture, whatever you're nostalgic for. It feels like home, but with better parking. If you want real Dominican flavor, late‑night energy, and sandwiches that will ruin you for all other sandwiches, Los Tres Golpes is the move.
