I was craving some Dominican breakfast and decided to look up spots nearby and this place came up. It is a small hole in the wall restaurant in a shopping center...but the food is delicious. I had mangu con los 3 golpe and it was perfect. We also ordered an empanada and it was very tasty as well. This place doesn't look like much and the area isn't the prettiest...but the service is good and the food is cooked by an actual Dominican. I would definitely eat here again. read more

Amazing food. I have been several times to pick up lunch as I work in the are. I usually order the pernil with yellow rice and beans. It comes in large and small sizes but you must get the small. It is huge. Well flavored, crispy and yummy. Rice was spot on. Quite a few tables to seat down and enjoy your food. I have also tried the fall off the bone chicken which was amazing. I was looking for a place to eat Dominican breakfast (mangu, salchichón, queso frito y huevos) so we stopped in to check this place out. We were a bit skeptical to go in because the restaurant's lighting was quite dark. Nonetheless, we were hungry so we decided to sit and eat. There were only about three tables occupied, but I saw several people stop by order and take it with them. The breakfast was tasty and much better than I had hoped. The two waitress ladies were very nice and attentive. I will return but will most likely just order and take the mangu with me. I'd love to see this restaurant upgrade their lighting. It will really change the ambiance and make you feel more welcome. By the way, I ordered a sancocho to go and not only did they not include the rice (which is a must), the sancocho was very bland. Went here for breakfast, it was so good we came back for dinner. Breakfast gets 5 stars, we had eggs, salami, mangu, and fried cheese everyone loved it. Dinner left a bit to be desired so it gets 3 stars, the beans were a bit bland for my taste and my moms pork chops were a little dry. The Restaurant was clean and welcoming and the waitress was nice. That's where the pleasantries end. Ordered appetizers and did not show up until the main course had been served. We skipped the appetizer and decided to take it home since we started on the main course. From the first bite of our meal was cold and super bland except for the pernil. The pernil was super salty and unedible. The Mofongo was super dry and laked flavor. To add insult to injury a few hours later when we got home, we reheated the empanadas and discovered a hollow shell. I didn't remember ordering the diet or even the vegetarian "empaNADA". Since it opened I have loved this place. They have made the buffet line even longer now. I try not to go on the weekends because the music tends to play a little too loud for my taste. My daughter always get the Pernil with white rice. I tend to order from the buffet line and the menu. Buffet: Bacalaito (cod fish) or Beef stew. From the menu: Mofongo and the Carne Frita. I bring all my friends and family here. Great lunches specials. Huge portions. The owners are very cool. This is Dominican food at its best in Kissimmee. I cant express the amazing service I received today at this restaurant. As soon as I came in Marlin and another really nice server asked me how can I help. As soon as I sat down the gave me water and warm bread. Took my order and made sure I was attended for. I ordered shrimp mofongo!! It was the best I have ever ate out of my kitchen. This is hands down the best food and price you will find in all of Kissimmee and Osceola County. I have been to MULTIPLE Spanish restaurants in the area and none can compare. I am also a restaurant owner and I can tell when the food is fresh and cooked as if it were in your own home. They make their food fresh and they treat you like family! Good Spanish food. They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays, this place is fairly new so not too many people gather for the live music. Service is good, waiters are too sweet and kinda gets on your nerve, lol. I came across this restaurant when a local person told me about the good Spanish food they have. I stopped here for a late lunch one day during the week while working in the area. The food is served from the counter cafeteria style. There are no signs labeling what each dish is, so you have to ask. When I spoke to the server behind the counter in English, she looked at me like I was an alien. Luckily, there was at least one worker who spoke English - the woman with the bleached hair - and she was very welcoming and nice, and almost made up for the reaction from the other girl, until that girl came to remove the dishes from my table and once again did not bother to smile back when eye contact was made and I offered one of my own. I ordered what looked like Roast Pork to me and some Yellow Rice with some little round beans or peas. It was simple comfort food to me, and the portions were huge and it was delicious, but I could surely find somewhere else in the area to eat similar food with friendlier servers. read more

My family and I who are tourist recently visited this restaurant because we wanted some Spanish food and boy were we highly disappointed. After, we had ordered and were waiting for our meals my mother in law and I noticed a ROACH on top of the glass over the food. This not only disgusted us, but definitely disappointed us to the max. I then approached the owner in regards to what we had seen and he didn't seem to put much attention to my concerns. I WILL NOT recommend this restuarant to anyone who lives in the area or even visiting.
